Pros
High-quality streaming performance, ease of use (quite good and simple user manuals), amazing team, great support, constant development, extremely high price/performance for the product.
The projects management and the assessment capability with Excel Price Feed is perfect and the ability to manage project employees database is helpful.
Cons
There are times when functionality is interrupted bc of the back feeds or coding from the feeds. Happens maybe once every [sensitive content hidden] to three months.
Using IG index option is not ideal for people who do not live in England... plus I found it complicated so I did not used it much.

"Great Excel Plugin"
Overall: We have been using Excel Price Feed over the last few years and are among the few early adopters. It does what it is supposed to, so I recommend it!
Pros: Reliable access to stock quotes via Excel. Fast customer support in the rare times the plugin experienced an issue retrieving the data.
Cons: Nothing really. The plugin is well-made.
"Excellent OHLCV data feed for Excel"
Overall: Easy to use, the UI for the Excel add-in is very self-explanatory and "it just works."
Pros: Excel Price Feed leverages the Yahoo Finance pricing data for US equities, and so if you do not need tick-by-tick data for trades, this is a great resource because it has no additional cost. The other "feature" of this software that makes the difference is that the developers are open to new ideas and can implement new features for you if they see an opportunity. It's been a great tool for working with up-to-date daily US equity prices in Excel, I looked high and low and tried two competitors, but no one comes close to Excel Price Feed's speed and reliability.
Cons: I am hoping for a Google Sheets Add-In someday, I understand Excel is by far the biggest platform, but this would be a great way to leverage the GOOGLEFINANCE formulas and/or extend stock analysis functionality in Google Sheeets.
"Made the process of researching for my pitches incredibly easy."
Pros: The ability to effortlessly integrate real-time data into Excel with a few clicks is the best feature of Excel Price Feed. Excel remains the gold standard when it comes to data analysis, with EPF serving as the cherry on top.
Cons: When compared to other options on the market, I find the product's pricing to be quite unsatisfactory, and as Excel works to integrate this feature internally, buying the product becomes increasingly uncertain.
"A secret catalyst to perfection."
Overall: Focused to its course and gives exactly what they promise. Am overwhelmed.
Pros: Quite easy to use this software. I have enjoyed best value for money. It is easy to navigate and very favourable for beginners. Am delighted.
Cons: Absolutely none. Am amazed by Excel Price Feed. Its performance is quite impressive.
"Excel Price Feed review "
Overall: Great. Very responsive to emails and notifications. I researched and tried others and the very few excel format feeders that there are don’t come close. It is also the only one out there that gives you pre and post market feeds.
Pros: It’s a fast cost effective way to map out your positions using a spreadsheet. Easy to set up and the feed allows you to create whatever internal formulas you choose to show.
Cons: There are times when functionality is interrupted bc of the back feeds or coding from the feeds. Happens maybe once every [sensitive content hidden] to three months. The vendor will quickly fix it to resolve whatever feed issue caused it.
"Excel Price Feed is an Effective and Functional Risk Management Tool."
Overall: Very smooth tool to operate and the permission management and even creation of accurate data analytics across several projects data using Excel Price Feed is simple and very productive.
Pros: The projects management and the assessment capability with Excel Price Feed is perfect and the ability to manage project employees database is helpful.Easy to provide professional process reports and the data integration and the documentation through Excel Price Feed is profitable and cost effective.
Cons: The features are easy to reach and training period was also friendly and i have nothing to dislike from Excel Price Feed functionalities.
"Get stocks data in a fingersnap"
Overall: It really took me just a few minutes to replace all cells I was filling-in manually with automated data fetching with this Excel add-on. It couldn't get any simpler!
Pros: It takes you literally 2 minutes to get up and running, and there is an helper for formula creation that will fill your cell with the required formula for you once you have selected the ticker - very handy!
Cons: The support for European stocks is less complete than for US ones, but I suppose that's were most of the people have their interest. You can still get a lot of data anyway for those markets.
"Excel Price Feed is excellent value"
Overall: have developed a sophisticated approach to stock ratings
Pros: Consistent, easy to use formulas with access to multiple databases.
Cons: wish it had access to more exotic stats such as standard deviation and stocastics. wish it could pull preferred stocks data
"Excellent Excel Stock Market Quote Feed"
Overall: I was looking for a built-in API streaming quotes with Excel. I was reading on Reddit and found a discussion suggesting this software. I gave it a try and it exceeded expectations.
Pros: It seems well coded and the execution is fast.
Cons: Nothing so far, at least for the use I'm making out of it.
"Great product and easy to use."
Overall: It's a great affordable tool, easy to use, and the company is in constant work to make it more powerful, also, they have a great technical support staff for their customers.
Pros: Is very easy to install and use, it has many functions and data sources that allows to do my work quite easy, particularly because it update all the market data that I want with just one clic.
Cons: There are some opportunity areas that could be explored, like to have technical analysis tools or even more data sources for foreign markets.
"Easy to use, flexible, fast, and great customer support"
Overall: Great product and great customer support
Pros: I have one use for Excel Price Feed that relates to analyzing equity option chains. I could explain what I wanted to do, but I didn't know how to do it. I posted a question to the discussion forum and the developer responded promptly with a sample spreadsheet that did the job. I implemented it easily and I couldn't be happier.
Cons: I'm very happy with the product as is. There is lots of free data available that suits my needs. But additional data sources would always be appreciated.
"Gutes Basisprodukt "
Pros: Easy to implement Stock and Funds -data in Excel
Cons: The Usabiltiy is not comfortabel. But the price ist fair.
"New way to find Market feed"
Pros: Having a more organised spreadsheet and, more importantly, a more visible financial database with formulas that make things easier to accomplish and better detect trading opportunities has been a compliment. Excel Price Feed's best feature is its easy integration of real-time data into an Excel sheet, together with its more than 100s of formulas that facilitate speedy data analysis.
Cons: Honestly i did not find any cons in the Excel Price Feed as it is a good software for me which came to use as far.
"Great Excel Activity"
Overall: Overall its a great tool
Pros: "The capacity to combine the newest facts to produce ratios that are immediately applicable. This was quite helpful when I tried to create my own filter. High-quality streaming performance, ease of use (quite good and simple user manuals), amazing team, great support, constant development, extremely high price/performance for the product.
Cons: Functionality can occasionally be disrupted due to back feeds or feed-derived coding. Possibly once every three months to a year.
"Data analysis tool "
Overall: Overall experience with Excel Price Feed is good to me
Pros: Having a more organized spreadsheet and, more importantly, a more visible financial database with formulas that make things easier to accomplish and better detect trading opportunities has been a compliment. Good methods and formulas. used it for all work involving prices.
Cons: As a user, I have no complaints with Excel Price Feed because it finally offers users who have used it in the past or plan to use it in the future good value for money.
"Best of Excel Price Feed"
Overall: Simple to utilize, the UI for the Succeed add-in is extremely clear as crystal and it works.
Pros: Excel Price Feed was the main supplier who could give same-day updates to OHLCV information.
Cons: I'm expecting a Google Sheets Add-In sometime in the not so distant future, I comprehend Succeed is by a long shot the greatest stage, yet this would be an extraordinary method for utilizing the GOOGLEFINANCE equations or potentially expand stock examination usefulness in Google Sheets.
"Best in class"
Overall: They're the best in this business.
Pros: Ease of use. Price. Features. Attention to detail. Customer support.
Cons: COTs require some expertise. I would just suggest more tutorials so users can take full advantage of what is on offer. Short videos would help too.
Vendor Response
"Excel software "
Overall: It's too good. I always used this software on daily basis as my work requirements.
Pros: This software is very good and effectively
Cons: Every tool in this software work very well and also provide advanced features in this software.
"Students loved it"
Overall: From a cacophony of sources (before) to a consistent presentation and management of data, the software made for far better quality student projects and easier grading for us. It was a pleasure to be able to focus on teaching them about portfolio management instead of spending all our time on data consistency and integrity.
Pros: I used the software as part of a course I teach on portfolio management, and asked the students to construct their portfolios on it. The software was really intuitive and the students that used it did really well. The ease of monitoring was considerable as well.
Cons: Students were (initially) reluctant to try it.
"Excel Price Feed Review"
Overall: It was great, but the bugs existed when moving closer to larger amounts of data. I would give it a 4.5/5 becaause it was easy to use and the equations made prefect sense. I never once found information that I couldn't access the EPF.
Pros: The ability to comprise the most recent data to create ratios that are effective immediately. This was extraordinarily useful when trying to make my own filter. I could use Graham's criteria, and then pivot to an equity model based on market price.
Cons: Well, on a laptop, my computing power, especially through excel, was minimal. The speed would slow down dramatically if I had the whole of the SP 500 index on a sheet, and was adding the total current assets etc. of all the stocks (503 total. While this was problematic, there also seemed to be an issue when I went beyond something like 12 columns. The sheet stopped compiling data, and just slowed down, kind of similar to .3 frames per second on like a PlayStation.
"Great Product and Great Team"
Overall: Very satisfied. Good return on my money (high p/p). No substitutes (at this price range). Also great people; responsible, quick to act and develop and they're constantly adding new functions to the software.
Pros: Great team, great support, constant development, ease of use (very good and simple user guides) , high quality streaming performance, very very high price/performance for the product.
Cons: Economic indicators is a must, EODhistoricdata.com extension is totally useless because of data stream limits (must be 100 calls per day for free users, which means if you have a table in place, approx. 1 click per day would drain all your limit). Almost no added value, can't use any of the free data. Also could be better if the historic financial tables (quarterly) would cover at least 2 full years.
"Very convenient and not expensive "
Overall: As I did not had Bloomberg terminal, I have used Excel price feed for more than 3 months and it helped me a lot for managing my portfolio, following my positions, pricing stocks, analyzing assets etc. Great experience overall! 👍🏼
Pros: Very easy to use overall! Many functions available, although I have mostly used Yahoo functions. You can refresh data manually or automatically (every 1/5min).
Cons: Using IG index option is not ideal for people who do not live in England... plus I found it complicated so I did not used it much. Too bad!
"Great gem you should explore!"
Overall: The team actually care about the product and they keep adding useful features, quickly responds to inquiries, and understands what the user need, the price is reasonable as well. Great experience.
Pros: Highly efficient and easy access to required data, what I like the most is that you can customize your setup as you need.
Cons: When updating large sets/complicated formulas it gets slower sometimes
"Good product, easy-to-use "
Overall: Automates large data downloads very well
Pros: Easy to implement, particularly with Yahoo as a source
Cons: Would like more formulas that provide more Yahoo finance data points and other data points Has a quirky response w,hen recalculating a sheet which returns #na for the first recalc then returns the appropriate values on the second recalc
"Excel price feed review"
Overall: we used just 10 day trial version and decided not to buy
Pros: Excel price feed is based on Excel. it is like additional plugin. When you know excel, is very easy to use it.
Cons: I really do not understand, why should we pay for this. it may makes work faster, but the same is possible to do in excel for example with pivots, or simply formulas.
