So far, it easy, and they're constantly making improvements. Pros The price is right for our small organization and its easy to use. I also like that the customer service is top-notch! It saves us a lot of admin time and helps us care for the animals better. Pros It is easy to set up and intuitive to use, so it's been straightforward to train new users. It has good overviews of the animals that are in the shelter or out with foster and has a great medical records area for each animal. You can add photos, attachments and notes, and so we are no longer relying on people remembering what’s happened with animals. The onboarding call with the Pawlytics team was excellent, and the support is very good. Pricing is transparent, and the month free trial was great, I was hooked after a week! Cons The people records aren’t that easy to manage - eg foster, adopter, volunteer - although there are filters, it can be a little confusing. But also, we could have set that up better initially! As a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit, we needed something that was inexpensive without having to sacrifice a user-friendly interface with access to all the tools we needed to be a well-oiled machine. I'm grateful for Pawlytics and highly recommend it. Pros You won't find a more responsive and supportive team of people. Pawlytics makes things like application processing, contract filing, medical management, and so much more that goes into our daily operations easy. Cons I've yet to find anything about Pawlytics that I don't enjoy. I was highly impressed by the product and them as well. They are a smart and innovative crew that started in rescue so they know exactly what is needed. They're also open to hearing what is missing and making things happen. With foster, adopter, and animal information all in one place, we're keeping better, more detailed records now with Pawlytics than ever before because it's so much easier to do. Adopters get more information about the medical history of their pets, transitioning animals between our rescue and the municipal facilities we work with is seamless because we can download a pdf with all of the animal's information, and we are have been able to move away from paper files altogether which means we're spending less time searching for vet receipts, intake forms, or past adoption records. Pros Pawlytics is easy to use, quick to set up, affordable, and the customer service team is always so responsive. Pawlytics has allowed us to streamline our intake, fostering, and adoption processes. Document uploads allow us to keep vet receipts, rabies certificates, and adoption documents all with the animal so they can be easily accessed later. The animal's file including medical history can be downloaded to share with adopters, veterinarians, or other rescues. Foster, adopter, and volunteer information can be stored along with pet history and details about their home environment to help us match adopters/fosters with the right fit pet. Cons We are incredibly excited about the e-contract/signing feature that will be coming to Pawlytics. We keep most of our paperwork virtual already, but having this option will help streamline our adoption process even further. We were able to go completely paperless with this product, and the ease of managing animal profiles, coordinating adopters, fosters, and volunteers is critical to our rescue's ability to save animals. The Pawlytics team is incredibly responsive and helpful. Pros Pawlytics is a fantastic product, organizing and coordinating rescue animal profiles, medical, adoptions, fosters, and volunteer information with ease and consistency, even with operations in multiple locations. Using it is incredibly user friendly, and the customer support is incredible. We are so impressed by the ease of sending out things like legal contracts, and how simple it is to collect and use information from applications. Lately they've added website functions that completely updated our simple website into something attractive and very accessible. They are very open to feedback and constantly making improvements that make the Pawlytics even more of a backbone for our rescue. It's also mobile friendly, so important on the go. Cons Pawlytics is constantly updating and providing more services, so almost all of our suggestions have already been addressed. We recommend it whole-heartedly. Pros Implementing Pawlytics has been time-saving for our non-profit, volunteer-run, animal rescue. We no longer need to keep multiple spreadsheets, and all of the information is easily accessible to users. There are multiple credential levels for users, which is also very beneficial. Cons The Pawlytics team is always working to improve functionality for users. More user-tags to apply to fosters would be beneficial, but I think that request is already in development. Reason for choosing Pawlytics The pay-per-use billing is what helped seal the deal when choosing Pawlytics. We signed up as soon as they were live. We have many volunteers that access it and all are able to use. Pros This program is easy to use. They will even set up a zoom tutorial for you and volunteers. Easy to add, edit and update info on animals. Automatically updates Petfinder as an option and eventually Adoptapet. The best thing is they do zoom meetings to give updates and get input to help make it better for users. They have amazing customer service. Cons Would be nice to have some default settings so didn’t have to change every time. Reason for choosing Pawlytics It was affordable for a smaller rescue and also more user friendly. Available dogs post directly to Petfinder to save time with posting animals to be seen. You are able to have digital adoption applications , foster applications and volunteer applications for no additional charge. Cons Unable to do digital signatures on legal contracts. Unable to register microchips without them being transferred completely out of the rescue name. Previously, this type of software was out of our financial reach. Pawlytics has enabled us to be more organized and function more smoothly (so we have more time to help our rescues). Also, the data we need for fundraising is at our fingertips. Pros Pawlytics allows our dog rescue organization to keep our data organized. Details about each dog's needs, intakes, outcomes, vet records, notes, are all in one easy to access location. The cost is VERY affordable - even the smallest organization should have no problem including it in their budget. Cons We have been using Pawlytics since the beginning - as it was being developed and more features were being added. There were a few hiccups along the way, but we are very satisfied with the current usability level.
