These people are some of the best people I have run across in the Word Press Universe. I am truly astounded at what a great experience I have encountered so far. I have done a lot of one on one with them as I needed, always responsive to my requests. The software is smooth and never glitchy. Always an excellent experience. Pros LifterLMS works really well. The basic configuration is just fine, and the basic features are great for creating memberships and courses. I have 30 courses and 2 memberships, and I my members have no issue finding what they need. Its great. Cons I have a feature request for search in My Courses. Because I have a lot of courses! For all features you had to upgrade, which I didn't. The Landing page was integrated into WordPress, which is as difficult as your abilities, and mine were not so strong. The courses have integrated mailing systems, which I really liked. It sends (on demand) messages when the student has completed the module and also email messages when the student has completed the course. Pros I was attracted to LifterLMS by recommendation over Social Media and I liked the apparent ease of creating a course. There are lots of training videos and a challenge to create your first course. It seems easy: You have got 10 YouTube Videos, create 10 modules and copy the 10 videos into the course - done. Just create extra material for it. Cons I did not like the quizz creation. It is logical, but you have to get used to it. And also not to forget to activate the quiz. When you wanted to add the same answer, it gave you all suggestions of all quiz questions but only in a single line, so you had to scroll for a long time until you found the right answer. With WordPress and a plugin live in the WordPress repository (LifterLMS) you're the one who owns the platform and you're the one who decides what to do and how you want it to be. Pros I like the course builder and the ease of creating sections & lessons and reorder them freely. Cons Actually nothing, I was missing the integration between LifterLMS and Elementor, but this is old news now! There are several plugins out there to level up the integration to the max, I also developed a plugin in the WP repository that helps with customizing the lesson template in the theme builder. Pros The add-on is nice, but the fact that it is not fully Arabized makes it difficult for us and many Arabs to use it. Cons The add-on is excellent, but... It's not fully translated into Arabic. 1- Within the Add-ons and More page, all fields are in English. 2- When adding a course, some fields are in English. 3- When adding a competition, there's a field in English (disable retakes). 4- The General tab contains the pricing information field in English. 5- Validity plans and adding a new plan are also in English. 6- The Restrictions tab contains the field for activating the lesson scoring feature in English. 7- Certificate options are in English. 8- You need to add a framework and formatting to the course sections and modules. Quizzes are easy to add for the different lessons. It also makes integrating student tracking over multiple courses as well as options for selling bulk courses to corporate clients. It also allows us to generate a couple of thousand dollars a month without doing a thing. The software is awesome. I highly recommend it depending on what your specific needs are. Pros Previously we would host 3 month long courses with 8 separate quizzes that were submitted via snail mail. We would then have to grade the quizzes and return them to the client. Now all of that is automated and the client knows within seconds whether they have passed the quiz or not. Cons It isn't the software's fault but not all of our clients are tech savvy. We have occasions where they set up more than one account and then cannot find their certifications because they go to the wrong account. Having previously used Moodle and a couple of custom setups, I was determined to use something I could manage myself while leaning on the provider for support. Upgrading to the Infinity Bundle allowed me to grab the project and run with it, but also get grounded when I back myself into a corner. The weekly mastermind call gives me the opportunity to learn about other tools or techniques that make my product better. The owner has formed a well-functioned tribe of support through social tools as well as the support offered directly through Lifter LMS support. Cons Thinking back to the beginning, I remember having so many options and tools available that I had a hard time narrowing my application of the tools. For example, the Infinity Bundle gives you Woo-Commerce but the plugin comes with a payment generator -- which one to use? Exposure to the mastermind group and Lifter LMS blog helped me find the direction I chose for my application. Pros LifterLMS was very easy to implement. There was little that I needed to research/ask questions about in order to create and begin selling an online course. Cons There's little that I don't like about it. At first, there was a feature that seemed obvious to include in an online learning software - which is to limit the amount of time any particular student an access the content of the course. However, LifterLMS has added that feature. Reason for choosing LifterLMS I didn't explore alternative products. I watched a video from a Wordpress expert on how to make an online course, and he recommended LifterLMS. It has tight integration with many other plugins, including gamification. The very best feature is the ability to add sample courses with a single click. Editing the samples is the simple way to learn the system. Cons While the course builder has a great UI, it does not mesh directly with the content builder. We looked into and briefly used Canvas, Blackboard, etc. and we found LifterLMS to be the best bet. And only about 29k cheaper than those options too. Go figure. As a new business, we prefer flexability and adaptability, and thus Lifter is the best choice. There is room for more problems to happen as you build (as is building any site from 'scratch' via WP), but the customer support has been excellent. They've even fixed tiny little bugs we brought to their attention in under 24 hours. Cons It would be great to be able to pay for more dedicated live support directly with the company. Being able to take an online course, take an exam, get a certificate and send emails and notifications is just a small part of the features of this professional plugin. Cons I can say there is no negative point. Just because it has a professional sales system, it would have been great if it was possible to differentiate the physical product of the buyer's custom fields from the sales mode of the downloaded products and eliminate the need for WooCommerce because the site speed would be great.
