Overall, I find TeamViewer ONE reliable and effective for its core job — secure remote access, cross-platform support, screen sharing, and unattended access get consistently good marks, and it's especially popular for remote support use cases. The main friction points are pricing (seen as pricey with a restrictive free tier and clunky cancellation), a learning curve for newcomers, occasional connectivity hiccups depending on internet quality, and some annoyance with version-compatibility issues and false commercial-use flags on the free version. Net-net: solid, trusted tool, but not the cheapest or smoothest onboarding experience.

Pros

TeamViewer ONE's main appeal is that it bundles remote support, endpoint/patch management, and digital employee experience (DEX) monitoring into a single platform instead of stitching together separate tools. Beyond reliable, secure remote access and screen sharing, it proactively flags and often auto-resolves device issues (like low disk space) before they turn into tickets, and it layers in AI-generated session summaries and integrations with existing ITSM/security tools — so for an environment like mine, managing multiple client workstations, it's less about one-off remote sessions and more about catching problems early across the whole fleet.

Cons

My biggest complaints are around cost and licensing. I will call it expensive, with restrictive free plans and a frustrating cancellation process. There's also a learning curve for new users, occasional connectivity issues tied to internet quality, and some frustration with version compatibility and false commercial use detection flagging the free version.

I have mainly used TeamViewer ONE for quick remote access to my workstation when I need to handle a small task. It is especially useful when speed and convenience matter more than setting up a longer remote session. For this type of use, it has worked well and saves time.

Pros

TeamViewer ONE is useful when I need to access my workstation quickly without going through a full Remote Desktop connection. For short tasks, it is fast to connect and convenient for checking something or making a quick change remotely.

Cons

The connection quality can vary depending on the network, and there can occasionally be a slight delay in screen response. For longer work sessions, I still prefer a more traditional remote desktop setup.

Overall it has been very good. I’m able to help others with their problems by remotely connection to them but sometimes I do find it a little slow to use

Pros

I like how easy it is to get connected to someone else’s laptop or computer to help them if there is an issue with it. I can remotely connect to their computer with their permission to assist them

Cons

Sometimes the connection can be a little slow and laggy which doesn’t help the process go any faster during a busy day in work

I found it very easy and ready-to-go, even the customer support was so helpful when I needed a hand, it has many features and it helped me and my co-workers to work in team and have a hand on eachother laptops.

Pros

It was easy to understand overall, going from the setup to understanding how it works. I had some connection issues and lags but I think it's because mostly of my WiFi, it's a good programme I would recommend it, plus it's free of use.

Cons

Nothing to declare, I found the program perfectly fine even tho there were some lags but it works just fine.

Hi Chiara, Thank you for your review. We're delighted to hear that you found TeamViewer easy to set up and understand from the start. It's also great to know that the platform has helped you and your co-workers collaborate effectively and that our customer support team was able to assist when needed. When experiencing slow connections, we recommend first ensuring that both devices are running the latest version of TeamViewer, which can be downloaded from our official website. If the software is up to date, restarting both devices and, if possible, rebooting the WiFi router may help resolve the issue. However, we're glad to hear that, despite this, TeamViewer continues to provide the functionality and reliability you were looking for. Thank you for recommending TeamViewer and for sharing your experience. All the best, Valeria/TeamViewer

We moved away from TeamViewer and honestly don't miss it. The cost to value ratio just wasn't there compared to other tools we evaluated. It's one of those products that coasted on name recognition for years while competitors caught up and passed it, and the pricing hasn't kept pace with that reality. If you're a small nonprofit or a lean IT team trying to be responsible with budget, I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere before committing to this one.

Pros

The remote access itself works when it connects. Being able to get into a machine remotely without a lot of setup on the user's end is convenient, and the interface is familiar enough that most people can figure out the basics quickly. I'll give it that much. For one-off remote sessions it does what it advertises.

Cons

The pricing is genuinely hard to justify, especially for a nonprofit. It's expensive for what you get and the licensing model feels designed to squeeze as much as possible out of you with tiers that don't map cleanly to actual use cases. On top of that, we ran into connection reliability issues more often than expected, and their response when flagging commercial use detection on legitimate installs was frustrating to deal with. There are better and more affordable RMM options out there that cover the same ground without the headaches.

Hi Blake, Thank you for sharing your experience so openly. It is good to hear that the basic remote access and ease of setup worked well for occasional sessions. We regret that pricing, licensing structure, and reliability did not meet your expectations, and we understand how frustrating issues like commercial use detection can be. Feedback like yours is important in helping us refine both our product and overall experience. We appreciate the time you spent using TeamViewer and your candid perspective. Best, Ying/TeamViewer

My overall experience with TeamViewer has been very positive. It is one of the more dependable remote support tools I have used, especially compared to other remote access options. It performs well, is easy to explain to users, and helps improve support efficiency.

Pros

TeamViewer is reliable, easy to use, and works well for remote support. Connections are usually quick and stable, and the interface is simple enough to get users connected without much hassle. It makes remote troubleshooting much easier and saves a lot of time when supporting users or devices.

Cons

There is not much I dislike. Pricing can feel a bit high depending on the licence, and some settings or security prompts can take a little getting used to, but overall it works very well.
