Pros When I bought Teamviewer for the first time, it was still a lifetime license. Later it changed to yearly abonnements. If you use it in the Office365 Admin Centre, you can support all devices of your company. Cons I am a single user copany at the moment. I still use teamviewer because of the comfort, speed and rliability. Nevertheless I find the pricing to much, to use all the offered features. I can only afford to use it for support and remote control of my devices. It does what it needs to do and it was easy to set up and use right from its installation process. Pros The best feature about this program, and really the only use for it for me is its Remote Desktop feature, allowing you to remotely control or view another computer that's connected to the internet. For someone with some knowledge of computers it's easy to set up or connect to another computer. It does its job and I haven't had any problems when I've used it to help friends with their computer problems remotely. You also don't need to sign up or register to create an account to use it which is always nice to just "plug and play". You can also use this program to set up meetings with people and chat through either video, audio, or messaging, although you'd need to register an account to do that. Cons Although it is easy to use for me, it's UI and design probably isn't easy for someone with little to no computer knowledge/experience to use. The UI could be made simpler so that users that aren't computer-savvy could easily access or use features. Because this program allows users to take control of another computer, that action in itself is dangerous if used in the wrong hands, so having more ways or options to protect yourself from potential scammers that are using this program against you would be a nice addition. Freelancer Telecommunications Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Remote Session made easy" February 18, 2021 5.0 Overall, it is smooth sailing using this app, that remote session for me has become an easy task to do and my first choice in assisting in support. It facilitates tedious technical support work of providing instructions and bypasses that unnecessary step to make tasks very easy. Pros I like TeamViewer because it is a very stable remote tool. And at that time using this, I was with technical support helping out folks remotely with their system. It saves time accessing their computers instead of dictating them what needs to be done, especially for not techy people. It is also very helpful doing walkthroughs as they can just stare at their computers while demonstrating what needs to be done to them. I also like the file sharing functionality as it makes it easy to share notes for instructions or details for walkthroughs being done. And automatic reconnection of the session is achieved even if the other PC experienced a reboot as long as the quit remote session isn't clicked by either of the parties. Also, I experienced a few internet connection issues which resulted to choppy audio as I was using VOIP to call. The chat function came in handy as a temporary substitute for it. Cons I only encountered a few sessions being terminated on Apple devices as opposed to Windows operating systems. Although we can't rule out that it may be internet stability causing it or other variables. I also experienced a minor nuance of hearing the audio (the media player blasting its music) of the computer device I was doing remote session with, but it can be easily disable in the sound settings. Even with a paid account, it complains about you not being licensed, which is sorted out by by either logging in again or updating. Cons feature-wise you cant fault Teamviewer. My only criticism is the cost of use. If using as an individual it simply is unaffordable. I've tried to use the free license to help a friend out with an issue. and the software locked me out stating it was being used for commercial use, contacted support and they advised that once it's locked there is no way to unlock without upgrading..
