When first interaction with Team Viewer I was shocked at how many features were included. It was almost too good to be true. I will admit I ran into bugs as with any program. In the end I found that with a little tinkering everything comes together safely and with very little hassle.

Pros

My team and I were in a major mess with this pandemic. We manage many aspects of companies and being able to share information, manipulate systems remotely and even video and voice chat on one platform has been a God Send. In an environment where people are weary of face to face contact this is a very affordable and clutch solution.

Cons

Many of the issues I would have mentioned here have been fixed with constant updates and overall great tech support Team Viewer has be come a star player in the remote desktop and Video and Voice Chat Genres.

A very good tool which helped Ezytrack Zambia in terms of receiving online support when we have dashboard issues, and in applying the same to clients with full training and looking at their dashboard

Pros

1\. Online training is extremely easy having control of their computer to run them through our tracking system from start to finish. 2. Watching them perform the same log in and dashboard checks, to see where errors are made 3. No face to face in these times, this is the only answer

TeamViewer is a reliable tool. We have used it for a couple of years now for remote support for end user issues. We have also used it for our major AV Events. We are able to control presentation laptops from the back of the room which is extremely helpful.

Pros

The product was easy to install for both the users and Administrators. We had no issues setting up access accounts and managing the licenses is very easy.

Cons

I really don't have any negative words or cons regarding this product. The tool just works. As a Manager of a helpdesk it is very important to have a tool that can be relied upon.

Pros

I've been using the least expensive tier of TeamViewer for nearly five years ($600/year!). It has done everything I need of it.

Cons

I've occasionally run into issues where my 'free' use of it to interface with my ham radio-dedicated computer where they have deemed the action 'business' use and, despite my having a business license which I only use for my business, they would disable my access until I filed an appeal. This happened three times in two years. But most importantly, as I've begun the process of winding down my business, I missed the cancellation deadline of my license by two days and the company would not cut me any slack...charging me for another year despite my business officially closing well before that time.

I'm just grateful. I'm a long time user and it's been a godsend in so many instances.

Pros

I've tried other remote desk software, and nothing has so far come close to what TeamViewer can offer for the individual user or small company. The freeware by itself is a gift, and hopefully is used proportionally. It's robust and hasn't ever failed- the only goofs have been on my end, and that's been ensuring that it's running on the other system. It's very, VERY easy to operate. There's no learning curve. If you can operate a PC, you can operate this software.

Cons

It's hard to find one, but if any it's that the mobile version can be a little tricky when it comes to using the magnification feature. That's it.

It helps to connect with people, access the machine for solving the issue in virtual mode.. Especially during this pandemic season it is very helpful. Also it helps us to take remote session of any desktop from any place with just laptop and the software installed which makes our work so easy.

Pros

The simplicity of the software that makes our steps easy for taking the remote connection of the machine. It also supports calling functionality by which we can able to explain the context directly with the user on the other side. Transfer of file made easy with drag and drop. The chat makes it easy for communication.

Cons

The free/trial version has less features compared to the paid version. It does not notify/ask for permission to take control of the machine if someone else is already using the machine. The control of cursor and other actions cannot be controlled as like in other applications.

TeamViewer helped me a lot when dealing with serious downtime issues on my business email accounts. The IT support was able, via TeamViewer, to quickly help me with the downtime issues while I was away from the office and the city.

Pros

The product is very easy to use as concerns the desktop assistance. It helped me many times when dealing with different software business products, incl. of state authorities, and via TeamViewer, the respective IT support of these external software products helped me deal with a lot of issues and registrations. I always use the TeamViewer app when I need IT support from distance, never used another product

Cons

It is very difficult and definitely not intuitive to allow another device to connect to your mobile phone. A lot of codes are asked with no guidance on who is responsible to give the code/s, how and who to receive them, and where exactly to insert them. One needs a lot of tries to obtain the required connection. Also, the different TeamViewer Apps are not easily differentiated in the AppStore, so one cannot find the appropriate app needed for the respective TeamViewer service (desktop or mobile)

One business problem I am solving with teamviewer is, if I forget an important file that I need on my other computer, and I leave my other computer on, of course, I can just simply transfer that file over to my phone or another computer and not have to worry about it. I have used the personal use license to also help out a friend with software troubles and fix it without having to walk them through it and take longer than it would to just do it myself.

Pros

The thing I like most about this software is the ease of use, no matter where I'm at. If I'm stuck at some place for a while and I need to let a program run for a download or something of that sorts, I can use the Teamviewer app on my phone to access my PC with teamviewer on it, I can access other PC's with teamviewer on it from my own PC, and transfer files as well in case I need a certain file, or help someone out with a trouble they may be facing in software or on their PC in general.

Cons

The thing I liked least about teamviewer is the issue where if you have a network, you have to remember to check the remember password on this network. There have been times where I have wanted to access one of my devices and I forgot to do so, so I wasn't able to get logged into my device despite the current device and the device I was trying to access being on the same network. I do get it though, since most people use this with multiple people, however with a personal use license and an option for the network administrator, I think there should be something where they can choose if they want to allow connections for all devices on the network without a password being needed, so we can avoid the headache of a mistake that we made when setting up a new device on the network.

We had been using teamviewer right from version 9 for online support of our customers. Teamviewer satisfied all our requirements in providing prompt support for our applications. From 2017 we also had flexible subscription based purchase options which was very good for our budgetary constraints. Over this period of time, teamviewer became highly acceptable in our customer environments in terms of security and privacy.

Cons

Minimum number of simultaneous sessions. Most often we need only one session active and hence we tend to purchase that. When an emergency occurs (which is very rare), we do not have a provision to allow 2 or 3 sessions. Paying for the same for the whole year was not profitable initially. However later we upgraded to a more flexible license

Without TeamViewer, I couldn't imagine setting up remote access in a short period of time without encountering issues. TeamViewer is more reliable and stable than Remote Access (Windows), is simple enough to deploy and use on-the-go and in office environments where the average user does not have much experience beyond administrative tasks on PC. Over the course of 8+ years of using TeamViewer, the experience has only become more simplified and more streamlined.

Pros

Remote Support has the potential of taking up large period of time if there are any hindrances, and callouts to physical offices are expensive for all parties involved. Almost a decade since I was introduced to TeamViewer, I can't imagine life without it - whether I'm helping a family member set up a program, or helping a client troubleshoot a priority issue at a moment's notice, TeamViewer has never failed me. The addition of live chats and sharing has turned ICT support into an absolute breeze, no matter where I am.

Cons

I have not had any negative experiences with TeamViewer in recent years.

It's wonderful and at the top for me, but pricing is still an issue. Pros: Team Viewer gives you complete control over remote computer access. I can effortlessly move software files between my computer and the remote computer. It has made it easier for me to aid my branches in transportation by allowing me to access any computer from my phone application. I set it up to start with Windows and add a static password, so you don't need the other side as long as your computer is connected to the internet. Logging out or switching users between OS users is a straightforward process. It logs in as an administrator and does not require administrative privileges for every task. Support for session recording, instant messaging, and audio calls, all of which are quite important for communicating with the opposite side. To get rid of voyeurs, show a black screen to the remote side.

Cons

The issue is that if you connect with a lesser version, it prompts you to upgrade the lower side. Support for older operating systems has been discontinued. The cost of a commercial user license is high.

I also need the help of some experts who were hard during the pandemic or while they stay on the vacation. Teamviewer has been a blessing because it saves time & hassle by connecting multiple users to a PC at a glance.

Pros

The software has been of great use to me. It has a simple UI & secured connectivity. We can access the screen from any PC or Smartphone from anywhere in the world. It has got an integrated file sharing system with a chatting option which adds more value to the software.

Cons

It needs a stable network to operate. It becomes very unstable if there are any network issues out there. The file-sharing needs to be more developed.

it is a little slow when you open the first time, it is needed to have a good ISP because the app requires bandwith, you have to use it many weeks before you can get the best of the app
