### "This is one of the best remote software products on the market"

One business problem I am solving with teamviewer is, if I forget an important file that I need on my other computer, and I leave my other computer on, of course, I can just simply transfer that file over to my phone or another computer and not have to worry about it. I have used the personal use license to also help out a friend with software troubles and fix it without having to walk them through it and take longer than it would to just do it myself.

Pros

The thing I like most about this software is the ease of use, no matter where I'm at. If I'm stuck at some place for a while and I need to let a program run for a download or something of that sorts, I can use the Teamviewer app on my phone to access my PC with teamviewer on it, I can access other PC's with teamviewer on it from my own PC, and transfer files as well in case I need a certain file, or help someone out with a trouble they may be facing in software or on their PC in general.

Cons

The thing I liked least about teamviewer is the issue where if you have a network, you have to remember to check the remember password on this network. There have been times where I have wanted to access one of my devices and I forgot to do so, so I wasn't able to get logged into my device despite the current device and the device I was trying to access being on the same network. I do get it though, since most people use this with multiple people, however with a personal use license and an option for the network administrator, I think there should be something where they can choose if they want to allow connections for all devices on the network without a password being needed, so we can avoid the headache of a mistake that we made when setting up a new device on the network.

TeamViewer provides stable, secure, and fast connectivity to any device, from anywhere. It allows developing very effective communication and significantly facilitates collaborative work.

Pros

It has instant messaging that facilitates the exchange of ideas or information in real time. The remote control session recording function works flawlessly. Your remote desktop has been invaluable as it allows me to access my computer from anywhere. I really like that it is compatible with different operating systems and can be used on multiple devices. Its remote printing capability for Windows and MacOS has proven to be very useful.

Cons

During the time that the platform has been used, no negative aspects have been noticed in the operation of this platform.

Highly satisfied. Very useful in produt based customer support and for internal knowledge transfer sessions.

Pros

We had been using teamviewer right from version 9 for online support of our customers. Teamviewer satisfied all our requirements in providing prompt support for our applications. From 2017 we also had flexible subscription based purchase options which was very good for our budgetary constraints. Over this period of time, teamviewer became highly acceptable in our customer environments in terms of security and privacy.

Cons

Minimum number of simultaneous sessions. Most often we need only one session active and hence we tend to purchase that. When an emergency occurs (which is very rare), we do not have a provision to allow 2 or 3 sessions. Paying for the same for the whole year was not profitable initially. However later we upgraded to a more flexible license

### "TeamViewer - Keep it Simple"

Without TeamViewer, I couldn't imagine setting up remote access in a short period of time without encountering issues. TeamViewer is more reliable and stable than Remote Access (Windows), is simple enough to deploy and use on-the-go and in office environments where the average user does not have much experience beyond administrative tasks on PC. Over the course of 8+ years of using TeamViewer, the experience has only become more simplified and more streamlined.

Pros

Remote Support has the potential of taking up large period of time if there are any hindrances, and callouts to physical offices are expensive for all parties involved. Almost a decade since I was introduced to TeamViewer, I can't imagine life without it - whether I'm helping a family member set up a program, or helping a client troubleshoot a priority issue at a moment's notice, TeamViewer has never failed me. The addition of live chats and sharing has turned ICT support into an absolute breeze, no matter where I am.

Cons

I have not had any negative experiences with TeamViewer in recent years.

Pros

It's wonderful and at the top for me, but pricing is still an issue. Pros: Team Viewer gives you complete control over remote computer access. I can effortlessly move software files between my computer and the remote computer. It has made it easier for me to aid my branches in transportation by allowing me to access any computer from my phone application. I set it up to start with Windows and add a static password, so you don't need the other side as long as your computer is connected to the internet. Logging out or switching users between OS users is a straightforward process. It logs in as an administrator and does not require administrative privileges for every task. Support for session recording, instant messaging, and audio calls, all of which are quite important for communicating with the opposite side. To get rid of voyeurs, show a black screen to the remote side.

Cons

The issue is that if you connect with a lesser version, it prompts you to upgrade the lower side. Support for older operating systems has been discontinued. The cost of a commercial user license is high.

TeamViewer is one the pioneer of remote desktop support. As an administration officer, I need to share my screen with multiple operators & officers. I also need the help of some experts who were hard during the pandemic or while they stay on the vacation. Teamviewer has been a blessing because it saves time & hassle by connecting multiple users to a PC at a glance.

Pros

The software has been of great use to me. It has a simple UI & secured connectivity. We can access the screen from any PC or Smartphone from anywhere in the world. It has got an integrated file sharing system with a chatting option which adds more value to the software.

Cons

It needs a stable network to operate. It becomes very unstable if there are any network issues out there. The file-sharing needs to be more developed.

I may say it is a nice and powerful tool in the daily work, very good communicator inside your team, easy screen share and it has a good talking interface

Pros

it is very easy to use, have many tools for daily work, you can add only workmates and have no distractions with social media

Cons

it is a little slow when you open the first time, it is needed to have a good ISP because the app requires bandwith, you have to use it many weeks before you can get the best of the app

The benefits of using Teamviewer is the security, ability to download Teamviewer across all platforms, the speed and reliability, easy of use, its free, and more importantly its one of the best remote desktop connections out there in the market. Teamviewer always make improvements in the product such as updates to fix any issues that come up. I recommend other users to use Teamviewer.

Teamviewer is one of the best remote desktop connections i have used for my company; One of the positive side is that its free!!, using the free version to connect to idle workstations to monitor system processes; Secondly, the security, have a token to login in to to a remote pc and be able to transfer file securely between two workstations; Third, to be able to make notes for clients when audio is at the best, i can open an application such as Notepad, and type some notes for the clients of what steps i am going to follow;Fourth, Teamviewer is accessible across all platforms such as a mobile version, windows, mac, linux and etc. In the mobile version, Teamviewer is very easy to navigate the mouse using my finger.

Cons

One of the downside is, the support i think Teamviewer's support is at the best since the customer reps lack the knowledge to the product. I wish they better trained thier ppl about the product and the common issues that come up using Teamviewer

It's been a good experience regarding these issues but it's not my main connection tool for now as we've dove into trying other hardware management remote control tools over time, I think it's shifted more to monthly meetings per that during the day there are no disconnection problems.

Pros

It has a great infrastructure that allows us to streamline remote support maneuvers to the rest of the group. In this sense, as I am in charge of the development work teams, I can understand that my knowledge and advice is crucial after work hours.

Cons

Support for hours of connection drops precipitously at night, which I think is when everyone connects, without forgetting that the other problem is price fluctuations, they increase the price treated with total arbitrariness.

Hi, I needed a way to remotely support my elderly parents' Android tablet from a PC. Obviously, TeamViewer was my first option, but I was disappointed. The remote help feature turned out to be incompatible with my folks' Android tablet. TeamViewer appears to keep track of which devices are compatible with this feature. The next thing I did was install AirDroid, which provided me with exactly what I needed in only a few clicks. Although AirDroid does not have all of the bells and whistles of TeamViewer, it is more than adequate for my needs. If I had one piece of advice for the development team, it would be to keep the list of Android devices that can use this function as broad as possible.

Pros

The ease with which I can utilize this tool to remote into PCs that we operate in our student lab environment is what I enjoy best about it. It's smooth and speedy.

Cons

Last year, when I attempted to cancel, I was told it was done incorrectly (it wasn't processed by them), not that they admitted it. With the threat of penalties, I was forced to pay a credit agency.

Son installation est simple et Il ne nécéssite pas d'avoir un logiciel particulier préinstallé pour être installer. il permet de gagner en temps et meme en energie car sans se déplacer on peut intervenir n'importe où l'on se trouve son interface est épurée. je l'utilise pour aider à distance les collègues bloqués dans leur projet, les amis et les parents qui ont besoin d'assitance informatique. c'est un logiciel qui me permet de voir ce que mes enfants font dans leur ordinateur quand je ne suis pas là.

il ne memorise pas les ID des anciennes cessions, la version payante est un peu couteuse

I've known the tool for a long time. Use in attendance, personal use, for presentation or for control in remote places. I really like the tool and whenever I think of remote access it's the first name that comes to my mind. Of course, there is the cost, which is necessary for the survival of any company, which ends up being a little high for the small business owner, but security makes it worth it.

Tool with a consolidated name in the market, easy to use and practical in presentations. It's easy to deploy and configure

TeamViewer was a good application to dip our toes in the water of providing remote support to our employees. Would recommend to shops under 50 employees.

Pros

Once set up it was easy to connect with out end users and offer support.

Cons

The connection process is not as easy as some competitors where we can distribute the software via MDM to macOS machines.

It seems to consume a lot of CPU resources of lower-powered machines, which sometimes impedes or slows down my use of those machines.

Overall TeamViewer is easy to use and convenient for working remotely or keeping in touch with colleagues via online meetings. I would recommend you give it a try.

Pros

With TeamViewer files are transferred quickly and privately. It is completely secure. Also, working remotely with TeamViewer is truly easy to do as you are provided remote access which enables you to monitor systems and networks remotely. Some devices that you can access and monitor remotely are Windows and Linux. In addition to remote access you can correspond with colleagues by having online meetings. TeamViewer also has a user friendly user interface. The easy installation and updates takes the stress out of dealing with a new software. Besides a PC , TeamViewer can be used on Android devices. This makes staying in touch on the go easier and more convenient. While other software might allow screen sharing TeamViewer allows you to not only share your screen but it also allows access to your entire PC. The drag and drop feature allows effortless file transfer from one system to another .

Cons

There are a few issues with sharing very large files but overall TeamViewer is a good choice for small businesses.

We had to reinstall TV on all computers after this update, puttimg a serious crimp in our work. Team viewer locks you into one year deals, then does not refund after 28 days. It took us significantly longer than that to even get half of our computers back into our network. Team Viewer's customer service people are very nice, if you can get them on the phone. They have no mechanism for helping paying customers with emergencies, you are told to leave a message and they will call you back. Overall terrible experience recently with Team Viewer. I recommend anyone thinking of using this app go with anyone else at all. Your local internet scammer is a better choice.

Pros

I used to like ease of access. That is now gone.

Cons

Their update made the app impossible to use.

### "A great way to offer remote support"

We are using teamviewer to support nearly 200 computers in several countries and the daily use it's really useful. The overall image quality is good and the integrated chat, options to update remotely, reboot, block remote enter, etc makes teamviewer a great support tool. Really advisable

Pros

If you manage a lot of computers (in my case around 200), its an invaluable solution. It let's you to organize computers in groups to easily access it in a dissatend way. The possibility to add a password to a common use PC it's really helpful. And the portable version TeamviewerQS gives you a great flexibility to help a sporadic customer. The installation is completely transparent to firewall so it's really easy to deploy

Cons

The support to android devices is a separate license. In my case, have 3 licenses to pc but would have only one license to android, because it's rarely used, but the licenses system of teamviewer require to have the same number to any system. So finally, we decide to not contract this part. The other cons happens with any equipment that have started the software with a non-administrative account because when an elevated privileges process occurs, the screen to introduce the password it's not seen on the teamviewer agent computer. It can be solved with a work-around starting the software with windows credentials type instead of teamviewer credentials, but it's annoying

Overall, I am very satisfied with teamviewer and regularly use it for short term remote logins when I work from home. It is really easy to set up an account for all my machines. Once teamviewer is running in the background, one can connect with a unique password without using the temporary passwords offered by default by teamviewer.

Pros

\- With teamviewer, I can access my all my desktops remotely. If both ends are backed up by proper internet speed, remote computing seems like a flawless experience. - Works great if multiple monitors are connected to the remote PC. Easy to switch the active monitors from a remote client. - Easy to transfer files using the secure file transfer window. - It is a cross-platform app. So does not matter which OS is running on the machines on both ends. Be it windows, Mac or Linux, teamviewer just works! Even more, they have the apps for mobile platforms (I can now turn my ipad into a full PC!) - (More fun than utility) Are you missing trackpads for your computer? Just open teamviewer from your phone and turn your mutli-touch display into a responsive trackpad for the desktop. :D

Cons

The free version, obviously, has some limitations. I think the connection breaks after every 10 minutes. For a prolonged session of remote login, the free version may not be a good idea.

TeamViewer is definetely the best software for remote access, it has allowed me to help both friends and clients alike.

Pros

As someone who works at IT, and that needs to solve clients issues from time to time, TeamViewer is one of the most useful tools for remote access out there. I have been using this software for a while, and you might think I am biased because I got used to it, but I have not tried anything else that delivers with such simplicity. I started using TeamViewer to solve online gaming issues for my friends (The Free version), and for gaming in general. It does not consume much RAM and allows you to play games as you stay connected and speak to your friends, it basically allows you to multitask. It might look tricky at first, but getting connected is easy and something anyone can learn on the fly. The Toolbar is easy to use, and comes with some remote access essential trouble-shooting tools such as the Device Manager, command prompt, among other quicklinks to certain Control Panel sections. It is the most secured remote connection software, being known for having a well encrypted system and accessing someone's computer requires a set of steps in order to guarantee safety. Is available in multiple platforms, including PC, Mac, Android, iOs, among others. There is a Free version for no commercial use, and there is not much of a difference between the freeware and the business version in terms of features.

Cons

The data transfer host needs improvement. It might be annoying for free users to get the business version advertisement sometimes after finishing a session.

Overall, I am happy and very satisfied with TeamViewer. The simplicity and ease of use while accessing any machine remotely from anywhere makes working with this product a breeze.

Pros

The best features that were very useful for me are the screen sharing and the easy to chat while proving support features which made team collaboration so much easier. We generally use Team Viewer when we need remote access to servers in our remote data centre for business continuity, disaster management & disaster rehearsals. We also use the remote desktop features a lot during testing as it is a very powerful tool for problem-solving, to assist people with tasks on their computers from a remote location.

Cons

Transferring of large files gets a bit slow, needs improvement. I don't like the fact that I have to use a different tool just to transfer files in an emergency situation.

Reason for choosing TeamViewer ONE

TeamViewer allowed us to use it for free while we were testing the features that would make sense in our business environment, and so when it was time to scale up, TeamViewer was the easy choice because we were already familiar with it.
