I am very happy to use Teamviewer as my way to go software for remote control and support software. Definitely suggested.

Pros

Teamviewer is one of those products I started using since their early releases and since then It was love at first sight. Thanks to its ease of use and their way to provide a Host control software, it made my life extremely easier as IT Administrator to support my teammates wherever I was, wherever they were, around the world. Also, as Teamviewer provides a Free for Non-Commercial use, I like to use it at home too, to support my family with their daily struggles, when they need some support.

Cons

It's really difficult to mention some negative points in such an amazing software, which made the VNC world definitely easier to use.

The pain to open ports on the router on each host and firewall setup made the overall experience definitely painful on each side ( user and IT Admin ). Also, considering the free for non-commercial use, would have been a nightmare to open router ports on each family member you need to support, especially if they do not live under the same roof. Thanks to Teamviewer ID and Password system, and reverse connect, this is definitely a matter of the past!

Best solution for accessing, controlling, screen sharing, data transferring, and video conferencing on any device anywhere in the world because it supports all popular operating systems. TeamViewer provide excellent quality over data sharing and video conferencing. It is fairly rich, stable and scalable. Installation and implementation is so simple.

Pros

TeamViewer make it possible to share data from one remote workstation to another ensuing security. It supports all devices and easy to use. Not only screen can be shared but it also facilitates video conferencing.

Cons

Pricing of commercial license is too high. Devices cannot be connected if they are using different version of TeamViewer. Low internet connection can effect connectivity between devices. In case of screen sharing it does not allow both persons to work together on shared screen with different colors of cursors.

Overall, I am much happier with the product and its capabilities. I can directly share files to remote device which is a fantastic feature.

Pros

Team Viewer is one of the best applications to remote-control any device including mobile devices. I really like the User Interface of the application. It is user friendly and very easy to use. My clients who don't have much technical knowledge can also use this easily in first time.

Cons

Seriously, I have been using this for more than 2 years but still I couldn't find anything that I dislike most about Team Viewer. Although, there are some minor glitches like connection drop or frame drop but that's not a big issue for me.

my experience with this software has been awesome despite the few challenges that it has which are bearable.

Pros

1) it gives someone the ability to remote access of log in screen 2) TeamViewer allow employees to collaboration and/or work on the same laptop even when they are not in the same area or place as long as they are connected to the same server 3) it promote collaboration and make the work continue, no lost production time 4) Effective File Transfer- file transfers are easy to do through Team Viewer by using the inbuilt tools on the toolbar 5) it allows the user to record the session

Cons

So far the only issue have had or found with TeamViewer is on the file transferring been very slow and you can not access it without the internet

My overall experience is very positive. While I wish their installation process was a little more thorough, and perhaps some more flexible pricing models, their reliability and quality once all is said and done are industry leading, and that's for a reason. Other than the false positive attitude and cost, the overall experience with this software is amazing.

Pros

TeamViewer is a great multi-platform remote desktop software. You can easily install and set it up on Windows, Linux or iOS. It works well even with a small iPhone screen. You can connect to any of your devices from anywhere online. It seems to work every time which is very important. It's also important that remote desktop video quality has always been exceptional, even on low-bandwidth connections.

Cons

TeamViewer is a way to give remote advice without any problem, this program has a very good performance and great speed, all its features are very well adapted to my needs, I do not see anything negative about this program. Also I got disconnected a few times and couldn't log in right away but I can't blame TeamViewer 100%.

As a WordPress freelancer, I work with clients from different parts of the world. I have found myself in situations where I need to explain to my clients - the way to do things. I mostly use TeamViewer in such case because using TeamViewer - I can see exactly what my client sees and then explain what they need to do - exactly the way they need to do. TeamViewer makes technical support amazingly simple and helpful. No need to write tutorial - No need to take screenshots and edit them - Just do it as needed and show to the other side!

Pros

The thing that I like most about TeamViewer is its stability. As a freelancer, Remote Access Tools are something that I use regularly and I haven't found any tool as stable as TeamViewer. Another pros of using TeamViewer is the File Sharing feature. There are many remote access software in the market but most of them don't have file sharing feature or good file sharing feature. However, with TeamViewer - it's different - it's file-sharing feature works perfectly. One of the best thing about TeamViewer is that - it's available in all major systems. For example - Windows, Android, Chrome OS, BlackBerry OS, Linux.

Cons

There aren't much to dislike about TeamViewer. However, I think the voice calls need to be improved. Since I don't like the quality of voice calls through TeamViewer - I use third party calling software while using TeamViewer. I hope the developers will improve it.

I need to connect to a variety of machines in a variety of ways and achieve this through teamviewer. Whether I'm guiding a client through downloading the initializer or accessing an unattended server I know Teamviewer will get the job done.

Pros

The ease of use whether you're connecting with a client, co-worker, or to an unattended terminal is unbeatable. There are so many different ways you can connect that it's really fool-proof. The connection is reliable, the quality is great, you can drag and drop files, share a clipboard, and set up unattended access on a large number of machines. The fact that they offer free for personal use options is wonderful for those who just need to connect to another one of their machines, and the business priced options are fair. You can also connect using either your computer or smartphone which has come in handy several times.

Cons

The only thing I don't like about this software is the tool bars on the side can be a bit annoying and in the way but really that is a minimal complaint. Drag and drop can be a little laggy sometimes too but again, nothing that would stop me from using this software.

### "High performance at a high cost"

Pros

Teamviewer's OS agnostic system is about as convenient and reliable as remote access systems come. From 'unattended access', strong (allegedly even NSA-proof) encryption (SNOWDEN leaks) and 2FA through to great bandwidth management, easy installation, wake-on-lan and file transfer functionalities, it is always my go-to tool. The free for non-commercial use is great for home use (but a tad frustrating if it detects commercial use just because you use Windows server at home).

Cons

Cost is becoming increasingly difficult to justify at work. It is disproportionately expensive against other similar tools, the justification seems to be the addition of non-essential recent additions (IT Brain etc.) which to someone who requires just simple remote access through NAT could be considered bloatware. I use the product primarily for its simplicity and convenience but if the price goes up any more I will be forced to trade convenience for a combination of other free methods. Perhaps it's time for Teamviewer Lite with access to as many endpoints but with fewer sysadmin features.

Cons

What makes me most suspicious of using Teamwier is the possibility of hacking, even though it hasn't happened, however there is no warning about the subject when the device is activated.

As a remote worker, this program makes literally every part of my day easier when collaborating with clients and coworkers. Rather than tell people things, I can show them. And what's easier than that? I was also able to easily send and receive files during video conferences. Furthermore, the IT health of my laptop and PC have never been better because problems are so quickly and easily diagnosed by IT staff with TeamViewer.

Pros

One of the toughest things to do in a day is explain what's on my computer screen to another person. TeamViewer eliminated that problem completely. Right from the first time I used it, for free by the way, I became hooked to it. The program is so multi-functional that it quickly became one of my 5-6 go-to programs used daily. Throw in the fact that it allows IT reps to easily access problems on my computer, and it gets even better.

Cons

The only complaints I have for TeamViewer are that it occasionally slows down my computer to the point where it is almost unusable. This can create problems when I'm in live meetings or working on tight deadlines. Another issue is that TeamViewer is not able to integrate with some business operating systems.

In our business it's very useful to me, because I ma taking remote of our servers of I need want any changes, even some buddy has some problem with his/her device so I can take remote of that device and solved thenissues. Installation is very easy, during installation it will prompt for personal use or office use so afcordingly you can installed. For me as a IT administrator TV is very useful , important software to handling IT related issues, file sharing.

Pros

In the market so many remote software available but TeamViewer (TV) is one of the most usable, more functional software on market. With the help of TV you can access your server from anywhere, even in service related companies they are support remote service so they used TV. Easy to take remote. With the help of this software you can transfer important file between source computer to remote computer / device. Even if you want to restart remote machine you can. It is very secured connections. File sharing, screen sharing , screen swapping in secured way. Most important is it's very fast to access remote PC. Because another remote software performance is little bit low compare to TV, even some softwares suddenly hang. In TV you can create your own connection for particular remote sessionbon this you can set the predefined password for that connection. Its a very nice product.

Cons

Actually there is no cons. But I thing the price of the product is little bit high. But theybdeserve for that price because they provided that type of services.video calling option is not there, I mean I never seen.

It is reliable, I consider it secure enough for remote control between devices. It has a large number of functions that are not only limited to remote management.

Pros

TeamViewer has been ideal for me to receive technical assistance when I cannot be physically present with my device, since everything is done remotely; permissions and access are secure but easy to configure. It not only works with computers, but also with cell phones. I have used it professionally with my co-workers and also personally between my own devices; it even allows you to make video calls; apart from accessing, controlling and managing a device remotely, you can also collaborate and achieve more effective communication while managing a computer in real time.

Cons

There are more advantages, but it does have some bugs when running, I think it needs to be optimized; if the Internet is not fast, you are going to have headaches with TeamViewer.

As previously stated, when it works, I like it. When it doesn't, you will be reminded to find another solution before their next outage.

Pros

When it works , it's great... I can access any of the devices in my company from my phone, tablet, or laptop. It has made my life MUCH easier supporting my users, as previous products often times the hosts would lose their connections and I would be unable to access them without having them reboot. That has not been much of an issue with Teamviewer. Providing their servers are up.

Cons

Teamviewer seems to have somes real issues with keeping their servers/routers up. Check out downdetector for the amount of outages they have had. It is beyond frustrating to rely on this product but then have it not be available with the frequency TV has had. It does re-enforce the need to have a back up connection solution in place just in case. Also, the way they now handle their version upgrades leaves much to be desired. Be prepared to have annoying popups constantly wanting you to upgrade your version and pay them for the new version, several times a year sometimes.

I can easily take over my end users computer. And when they are domain joined I can use domain admin credentials to get full access.

Cons

If there is something that could be better its that I want to get the active screen right away. When an user has multiple screens, I have to look for the right one.

Pros

The most important thing in this application is its ease of use. It is free to download and use. It can be used on computer and smartphone. It can be associated with a Microsoft account for sign-in without the need to learn a code. Messages can be sent from the same application for better interaction.

Cons

Sometimes the connection fails or it does not allow to associate account for login.

Team viewer has saved me both time and money. I have helped both my friends and families. Team viewer is easy to use and reliable for remote desk connections.

Pros

Teamviewer has helped me to remotely access any computer and assist friends. The VPN makes it possible to network through cloud and share network services. I use it for conferencing and remote presentation since I'm not always in the office. It helps me save time and traveling cost. You can access your computer and files easily from your mobile device. I also love the feature set available when you are logged in. Changing screen resolution and chats are helpful items. As an IT support Technician, I use it most for my clients who I've installed a certain software in their computer. I just use TeamViewer to follow up if the installed software is still functioning as it should.

Cons

I do not like the fact that I can't access my computer or server in privacy. If there is someone at my desk will see what I'm doing. You cannot hide your actions. It requires a very good internet connectivity when sharing screen and operating it remotely.
