### "Great remote access app, not very friendly in terms of setting up and settings"

Overall it is a great app for remote access and it is friendly to use although it is hard to setup

Pros

Very easy to access remote computers and super easy to transfer files just like Windows feature (copy and paste the file between computers)

Cons

Setting up the software and the admin page for settings are not easy and are hard to follow. For instance adding users, giving them access, grouping computers are hard to setiup

### "Teamviewer as the remote control software"

TeamViewer made our job easier, especially during this coronavirus outbreak. It helped my IT help desk team fix my computer and besides they showed how to deal with any technical problem.

Pros

With TeamViewer, I am not much worried about security or privacy issues. TeamViewer makes remote controlling easy and faster. You can even distribute files between the computers. Its free subscription gives enough functionality. You can talk with the person on the other side. It is like skype+plus remote control which gives a lot of opportunities.

Cons

Sometimes little changes on the internet speed make communication almost impossible. Different versions of the software do not support each other meaning that if you use the other version of the program you will not be able to control the other computer.

File sharing is not possible in Anydesk which is a great function to take advantage of TeamViewer. Moreover, unfortunately, there was not real-time chat in Anydesk.

Teamviewer has been such an amazing help for our company, while using it in combination with skype we can fix most of the issues our customers have remotely and not spend any money in traveling to their offices, I truly recommend it.

Pros

Teamviewer is the solution for any type of remote troubleshooting. I have used it to fix small problems for our clients, both in the software and hardware areas to engineering, when taking control of softwares such as autocad in our clients computers and making changes to bluprints and plants designs.

Cons

Something that I dislike about teamviewer is the fact that in order for it to work both computers need to be running the same version, this is sometimes troublesome because either my client or myself have to adapt to each other, and since I don't work with just one client this is a big problem for me.

When I want to offer remote support with good accessibility and features in a secure environment, I'd go for TeamViewer any day. Some of the pros can take away from the experience though.

Pros

1\. It is more secure than other similar tools. 2. It allows file transfer between the 2 connected computers. 3. The dark screen interface makes it easier for the remote user being connected to to easily identify when a session is in progress. 4. Video-chat and voice transmission for easier communication is a great feature. 5. It is easy to use, without much configuration

Cons

1\. It lags sometimes. Without a reliable internet connection, the responsiveness might not be as good. 2. Copying large files takes time. 3. It requires a license to be purchased when it detects commercial use, which can lead to your use being blocked unnecessarily.

Pros

While Team Viewer is used to sharing files, it also allows for online meetings. However, there are more options. A lot of work is done by it. Several robust security features provide adequate protection for a network system. As a result, it can be used to establish a secure link between two locations. In addition, meetings and chats can be recorded for future use.

Cons

Generally, the overall product features are fair and easy to use, but some clients aren't aware of this and find it easy to resolve with updates.

Pros

It's a great software and very popular for Remote Support and assistance. Allow run the app without install the software on Desktop PC. More permissions to control the remote device.

Cons

Versions installed in connected devices must be compatible between the users for make a connections. On devices with low performance, can be very heavy to run the application.

Pros

Trabajo remotamente administrando servidores en otra ciudad diferente a la que vivo, y con iniciar sesión y dar de alta tus equipos es suficiente para acceder a ellos en cualquier momento, incluso si se han reiniciado, ya que teamviewer empieza como servicio al iniciar el sistema operativo.

Cons

Para mandar archivos pesados como programas o videos, a traves de la interfaz puede llegar a ser algo lento en mi experiencia, por lo que es mejor enviar archivos por otros servicios.

This product has given me more pros instead of cons. 2monts before, i was travelling in train and suddenly my one of the client faced issue while loading the displays and he wants to make it fix as soon as possible. With the low bandwidth, i resolved his issue with this product as my bandwidth was so slow. I really thank to TeamViewer to help me to get rid of this type of situation.

Pros

It is one of the product which i used for remote control, access one system from another. We can access any file or document from remote computer. No need to go home and login at home computer if you are in the office. Simply access your remote desktop with TeamViewer.With this, i can easily share and copy the files between two systems. I just loved this product as many of the cases it helps me a lot.

Cons

One of the least thing which i noticed with this product is that sometimes when i tried to connect with my collegues remote system then it shows the message that you are not using the latest version but when i checked then worst think is that i already used latest product of this product. I also using this product in IOS operatint system but sometimes it crashed and am unable to uninstall it due to disable everything.

I used TeamViewers to help my clients and students to solve their problems and it has definitely been a very fruitful experience.

Pros

Its very easy to use and packs a ton of useful features all within a simple and easy to use UI. It has a lot of experience in the field of remote desktop control due to which it can provide you with premium quality services. File sharing has also been made very easy with TeamViewer. It even has a free version available which can do all the basic tasks without any problem.

Cons

I would prefer the app to be more smooth and run more stable in older devices too. I've faced a few crashes before but everything else is fine.

Overall our experience with TeamViewer was great until we had security issues with the company. Aside from the issues with their monetization format, TeamViewer works well.

Pros

The software was easy to use and set up. When using the software we had no issues. It was responsive and had nice features that allowed us to do remote support to our computers outside of our main office.

Cons

The main issue with TeamViewer is the way they handle software updates. They lock each major update behind a new pay wall that is not cheap. If you opt not to update like our company did you open yourself up to security issues. Our company ended up getting hacked due to our use of an older version of TeamViewer. We now only use TeamViewer as a backup.

### "Great for remote use or tech help"

Pros

We have been using TeamViewer for approximately the last 2 years. If you prefer, you can download a small file that allows a one-time-use to give another individual access to your computer for a specific task. I've called software companies and needed tech support, and I've had them use TeamViewer this way. And when they're done you delete the file and it's off your machine. No account necessary. I also have received support from my outside Tech consultant in this way. If I need something upgraded on the computers that I can't handle, they log into my computer when I sit there and they fix the problem for me. You can also create an account that has more security, uses two-factor verification, tokens, and keep track of multiple computers which you can log into even when they are unattended, as long as you keep TeamViewer running on the other end. As it forces me to log in with a time-sensitive code and authentification program, it feels pretty safe to me, and I've never had a problem. We use QuickBooks, but don't want to pay for the cloud version. So when I need to, I can log into the computer at my office that's running it remotely, and run reports or create entries from home. and you can choose to log in right through the TeamViewer website to a browser, so the other computer is accessible from anywhere. It's saved me in a pinch multiple times, and kept me from having to purchase cloud-based versions of other programs that were beyond my budget.

Cons

I don't really see a downside to the program. I remember a year or two ago there were some security concerns, but a lot of this seemed to have to do with how stringent you are in how you choose to allow remote access to your computer. With the two-factor authentification and the use of security tokens, and the proper security settings on TeamViewer on my computer, I think it would be pretty darn difficult for somebody else to gain access to my computer. Just take the extra precautions even if it takes you an extra moment to login, and the peace of mind is worth it.

I love the added security they have implemented after their small data breech, It has definitely improved my personal perceptions of the company and their level of care about their customer's data.

Pros

I love how easy it is to save connections and keep them in my "list" so that I can reconnect to my end-user's machines quickly without asking them for a lot of information that they have trouble finding. It makes my life easier and get's them back up and running much quicker.

Cons

It is a little bit pricey for the license, but it is TOTALLY worth it.

Overall, its ease of mind to use it rather than its competitors like zoom and cisco webex. It runs smoother and hassle free.

Pros

Following are the features which I like 1. Ease of using shortcuts, in other remote meeting softwares shortcuts are a problem always. 2. It runs fast without a delay and also light on system resources. 3. You can leave it unattended for longer period of time.

Cons

I don't know its me or it happens with everyone that there no support for audio in it. I mean we can't talk to each other which taking the remote session. For this we have to establish a zoom meeting and do everything through teamviewer. Also they could add a feature like any desk that it remembers the last connections.

Pros

Very intuitive, easy to install (use don’t even have to install it), easy to setup even for tech noobies. Sessions themselves are smooth and responsive. An audio or text chat can be used during sessions.

Cons

The chat window is hard to find for my customers. There are sometimes issues with setting up voice devices. It would be nice if i was able to run only the program without going through the installation screen.

Pros

We can access anyone's system using the Teamviewer credentials anytime. This is helping me and my team these days when we are working from home. Sometimes my team members stuck somewhere so I just login their systems and resolve the issues. Really helpful tool. Its great that it requires password and it keeps on changing everytime we login.

Cons

I think it can be improved more by allowing user to access the system for longer duration if required. Sometimes if a person is not near to the system and the system is in sleep mode then it creates problem for other person accessing the system. So we should have some timer that atleast 1 hour without any user requirement near the system . It will work.

The easy interconnection when providing remote support to other users.

Pros

Its main feature is to allow easy remote connection through a user ID and password which varies from one user to another, thus ensuring a connection without major problems. Additionally it allows the easy management and transfer of files between computers. With a simple and quite friendly desing, it allows easy interaction between the application and the user. Undoubtedly one of the indispensable tools when it comes to remotely support other users who require it.

Cons

One of the main negative points that this application can have, is how limited is the remote connection time in his free version, since it force the disconnection of the session afeter approximately 10 minutes. Anothe point that could be considered negative is the fact that it is an application that must be installed, perhaps having an application without installing it would give favorable points.
