### "Amazing app for remote support"

Used it to support a number of users remotely from my machine - worked like a charm. All I need to tell them is to launch the app, tell me the id/password and voila, I'm in. Copy/paste files, operating windows, etc.

Pros

1\. Extremely easy to use, almost 0 learning curve - everything is straightforward and intuitive, plus available on all platforms (I was supporting PC machines from a mac) 2. Robust mobile app that has most of the functionality accessible via a phone 3. Free for personal use!

Cons

1\. The ID/password combo is sometimes a bit cumbersome and should be replaced by an easier two factor identification using a phone. 2. Very little not to like otherwise - minimal lag, everything just works.

After learning the pricing, I started looking for an alternative and TeamViewer came up as the best one. After using both for a while, I can confidently say that TeamViewer beats Logmein in every aspect - more updated UI, snappier performance, better security.

Overall Teamviewer is a powerful remote support tool for our organization but I wish some major features were easier to use.

Pros

Once connected, the interface is easy to use and provides full control of the remote system without needing the host to address any prompts.

Cons

Teamviewer can fail to connect because sometimes the random password will be disabled and you'll need to walk the end user through activating before you can establish the connection. Also the easy access is difficult to setup making it harder to connect to remote clients. Another annoying feature is saving remote systems is a manual process and these saved clients don't always show up in the interface if they are offline.

We have managed to help many of our internal clients in a fast and effective way.

Pros

I like that it works on any OS platform. I've proven that it works very well from your iOS APP with desktop computers, to provide good support. I've noticed that in that use, it does not consume a lot of mobile data and does not demand large amounts of mobile resources. In the desktop application, I like that it is very easy to use, it is easy to explain to the remote user that he should only open the application and indicate the ID and Password, after a few sessions, when the user asks for help, he already has it open and knows the data that we will ask. I like that I can place a personalized password to the teams which allows me to open the sessions remotely without intervention.

Cons

I have noticed that in the free version, when I connect to computers that are managed and I need to type the user and password of the administrator, the user appears, but to the one who is remotely, no. This makes it difficult to install applications, since you have to use a different procedure to install the applications. In the Windows version, the installation process should be very simple, as well as the option to indicate to the user that it is only a question of taking remote control and not of an installation that requires special permits. The internal chat must be more intuitive.

All in all, I can't complain too much about my experience with TeamViewer. I am using a free version, and so the little frustration I am experiencing seems fair for the price.

Pros

The free version of this software is highly reliable and much appreciated. I needed a way to check in on and occasionally download files onto my computer in-office will working from home on a separate computer, and TeamViewer has provided all the tools I needed. I initially used AnyDesk, but found that the software moved very slowly and would freeze on me periodically. I can't say I've had any performance issues using TeamViewer. When you set up the computer you'd like to remote control, all you need to do is jot down the ID and password and you'll be able to log in and access the Desktop remotely from a separate computer as if you were right in front of the computer itself.

Cons

The one consistent problem I keep running into is that the computer I attempt to remote control about once a week or so seems to change its access password automatically every 4-6 weeks. I've checked all of the preferences and settings on that computer to ensure it won't do this, but it still continues to do so. Luckily I'm not located far from the computer, so I'm able to pay a visit and see what it's updated the password to, but it is a bit frustrating that I can't seem to get it to stop resetting.

With this software I can repair configuration errors on our clients' PCs, as well as install programs. TeamViewer has lightened our workload, as common problems can be solved over a remote connection, without the need to personally attend the site.

Pros

TeamViewer is a tool created so that users can connect remotely to other computers in a simple way and without so many instructions. I like it because to connect you only need to enter the identification number and the password. Another advantage of using this software is that it is available on almost all platforms such as Windows, Linux, macOS, Android and others. I also like the fact that it is a platform with almost no latency on the remote connection.

Cons

Occasionally, I have had inconveniences to transfer files from a PC to a mobile device, because the files do not load.

Overall its a great tool to support our customers and has so many different uses, I also like the elevation part of TeamViewer where you can actually enter your administrator domain credentials to make changes to the users system if needs be.

Pros

I like the fact that it is so easy to help a user navigate to the teamviewer website and download quicksupport with ease blindly. Most of the time we have unattended access setup however in some instances, TeamViewer may not already be installed and this makes the process so much easier.

Cons

No matter how fast your network speeds are, the file transfer element of this must have some kind of cap as it always takes forever and at least an hour if the file is around 1gb.

Overall I am really satisfied with the product. I have been using it for almost 3+ years now both for Personal and Business purpose. A user friendly app with inbuilt chat, audio function and file transfer ability which makes it stand among the competitor's.

Pros

There are a plethora of things I like about the Teamviewer, with the most important being the Remote support which is instant with chat and file transfer support . As a result when providing remote support I do not need to use a third party app for chat or file transfer, thus making it easy.

Cons

Some times when you provide support over the phone, the app ends in 2 mins. I have sen that interrupting the work several times, which seems to be disturbing some times. Apart from that everything looks good.

I've had a totally good time using TeamViewer since it is cheap and reliable too. It works perfectly fine while I host my Business Meetings.

Pros

I have been using Team Viewers for more than 4 years and I have never been let down. Anyone can use it easily with basic training they can find on youtube. it's convenient and reliable. You can easily reach your desktop from anywhere in the world once setup. It also makes very easy to solve other's problem from your computer by accessing their PC once granted permission. I'm confident that the TeamViewer is totally secure and safe that's why I recommend everyone to use it.

Cons

I don't have any harsh problems with the software. The app sometimes crashes randomly. I just wish that the app would be more smooth while hosting other's PC even under poor network.

Pros

TeamViewer is an awesome software that facilitates remote control, desktop sharing, and online meetings, web Conferencing as well as file transfer. Another great thing about TeamViewer is that it is available on multiple platforms that means it is NOT just available for Windows but for other operating Platforms like the Macos, Linux, IOS and Android which is huge benefit for someone who operates on multiple cross-platforms. Another thing that I love about this software is that it is available for Free For non-commercial use, makes it possible for me to remote login and offer assistance to my parents occasionally. As a Business Analyst, I think it’s an Excellent Tools when it comes to make Conference to clients or presentation to the Company Staff or online Meetings. Also comes handy when you need to Access the System from the clients to troubleshoot simple functionality understanding related problem they have. Speed is great at both when making the remote Access Connection as well when sharing Video, Quality of the video is Also great!!

Cons

This is an excellent software doesn't have much cons but i have been getting these words from around that it's expensive when it comes to Commercial Use though its a great tool effecting many in better way!!

For my own job teamviewer has been fantastic tool and i do not look for any other tools since i can do what i need with teamviewer

Pros

It is quite easy to use to connect with the other PCs. I use it very often when i forget my laptop at home and i instantly need to access to some of my files from my data and team viewer is quite important tool for me in that scenarios. On the other hand even when I am on my PC and urgently need any help from my IT Support which is easy to show the screen to them via team viewer to solve the issue on my system.

Cons

The only thing i have faced so far is when i use two screens joined into one pc then teamviewer is not working and it keeps logging me out of the program and only after i plug the other monitors out of the laptop then i can share my screen with others

Overall TeamViewer is an excellent piece of software which we now rely on to provide remote support to our customers.

Pros

We use TeamViewer on an almost daily basis, it's extremely useful for us as we are often required to provide remote support. We frequently use the file transfer functionality and features such as being able to restart a remote terminal and wait for remote control to resume and reconnect is a big bonus. We never have issues with Windows UAC which doesn't always appear when we've used other software in the past. A lot of our customers aren't tech savvy but we never have issues walking them through the process of downloading and running TeamViewer.

Cons

The only downside we've encountered is the management portal seems to always ask for email confirmation before you can login, even if you tell it to remember the device you are connecting from.

### "Team Viewer Saved Us a Ton of Money!!"

Pros

I used to run an automation installation company and Team Viewer ended up being a complete life saver. There was constantly problems with people’s system in their home and 9 out of 10 times it was simple user error on their part and could be fixed remotely. Before we started using Team Viewer we would have to send a technician over to the client’s house, log onto their computer, and figure out what is wrong with it. It was so convenient when we used Team Viewer because we could just give the client the Team Viewer website to go to, give them a code, and remote into their computer from our office. This saved us so much money on time saved, convenience, and gas money. I also had Team Viewer on my work desktop and so that if there were any documents on it, I had access to them from anywhere I was. There is even an app for Android and IOS that works great in order to remote into your computer. I am very grateful for Team Viewer and would highly recommend it to anybody!!

Cons

If there was a bad connection most likely caused by extremely slow internet, it would cause a pretty big lag. It is difficult to maneuver the clients computer with this lag. I don't think this is Team Viewers fault because this only happened when there was a slow internet connection.

With TeamViewer, I get access every time to all the workers devices. Hence it is easy to track whether they are working or not and also record the amount of time they work and that which they were distracted for payment purposes.

Pros

During the COVID pandemic, I was unable to hold face to face meetings with the employees. Therefore, it was quite hard to assist them incase of a software glitch or incase of additional instructions on some of the projects we were handling. But with TeamViewer, not only have I been able to solve all technical problems almost every time but also I easily give instructions about the projects in question to the employees hence reduce disruptions which may otherwise affect their work focus.

Cons

Some workers tend to have weak internet connection, mostly due to their geographical conditions. In such a case, it is almost impossible to connect with such workers (as TeamViewer requires strong internet connection) hence it affects the workflow.

This software is available free to download on Microsoft Windows and Mac os. It’s easy to install and use. It can be accessed from every computer that is connecting to internet. It gives a great access to virtually remote control and access to another computer that it’s connecting to. However, it requires complicated access numbers and passwords to connect, and it keeps changing them frequently. Also, the connection is usually unstable and slow. Not very securely software. Technical support is slow and not very helpful when it comes to the product and product’s security problems.

Pros

This software is free and available on both Microsoft Windows and Mac os. It’s easy to download, install and use.

Cons

It’s has very slow connection. The connection keeps crashing and disconnects itself.

The teamviewer allows you remote connection to any computer by its id and if it is locally by your ip. Additionally, it allows you to transfer files. allows you to remotely support remote maintenance, technical assistance or remote advice.

Cons

can not connect to 2 or more computers at the same time, but if you allow several to connect to the same computer, if you do not have internet you lose any possibility of attending remotely, the cost of the license is somewhat expensive, it should be a slightly younger

Pros

Teamviewer is great, it is a great software that allows us to be connected with other computers remotely. This software gives us many possibilities, it is very easy to install and does not consume many computer resources, besides its use is relatively easy. The software gives us the respective credentials to connect to another computer, once connected we can have control of the other computer remotely and perform any operation that is required, such as running programs, opening browsers, reviewing system details, running the console of commands. It also allows us to transfer files remotely from one computer to another. Teamviewer also allows us to connect via smartphone, which implies a great advantage compared to other similar software.

Cons

I really like this software but sometimes I have had connectivity problems with other computers that do not have the same version of teamviewer.

Have been using this superb remote connecting software from the beginning. The team continues to improve it in every new iterated release. This software is reliable, small, and easy to use. The clients love it because it’s free to use while insuring privacy & security once done.

Pros

Software is easy to install on the host and management system. Offers a one time access code to insure privacy & security once remote fix is in place. Software installs on all major computer operating systems. The real time control is very good even on slow connections.

Cons

It would be great if the paid version had a lower tier in terms of pricing for the SOHO. Say a $5.00 month subscription to allow small contractors the ability to use the whole suite.

TeamViewer is my favorite free remote access program. It's filled with features you don't normally find in similar products, is very easy to use, and works on pretty much any device. All-In-One is the name of the full version of TeamViewer. It's absolutely free and is the program you need to install if you wish to set up a computer for constant remote access so you can always make a connection when you're away from it, otherwise known as unattended access. You can log in to your TeamViewer account in the All-In-One program so you can easily keep track of the remote computers you have access to. For instant, spontaneous support, you can use the program called QuickSupport. This version of TeamViewer is portable, so you can run it quickly and immediately capture the ID number so you can share it with someone else.
