I never had any trouble using Teamviewer, but I had to start using a different product because of the cost. I would love to use Teamviewer again because it is a popular product. But as of right now I can not afford it.

Pros

I liked the ease of use. Also, I liked that the password was different every time I used it so there could be no hacking. Teamviewer is also very reliable. Never had any issue using it.

Cons

I do not like the price. The price is very expensive, especially for small businesses. There are cheaper versions that cost a lot less.

TeamViewer has made my life so much easier. I have been using this for over 2 years and there hasnt been a time that it hasn't worked, that I wasn't able to log in to my partner computer and the ease of use is simple from a non technical person stand point.

Pros

I cannot say enough good things about TeamViewer! Not only does this allow me to work from home in such a critical point in this crazy world, but it allowed me able to start working without having to put my daughter in full time childcare. That was something I really struggled with as a mom, I did not want to have my only child at daycare full time. I was able to start working from home before she started school and to me, that was EVERYTHING! It is an incredibly easy program to use. I am in no way shape or form a technical person. So being able to install this by myself and run it without needing any assistance is absolutely life saving! Such a quality program for personal and commercial use. Thank you TeamViewer for making my life SO MUCH EASIER!

Cons

There is not 1 thing I do not like about this software. It is simple to install on a personal computer and work computer and set up.

I been using TeamViewer for over 10 years and i use it daily from gaming to website help and it saves me so much time and in turn show who ever i am connected to exactly what it is i am doing so it helps them also in the future to diagnose the issues them selves. This is by far the best software out there that is simple and easy to use and is very secure as well. I helped so many people over the years using TeamViewer and i am overall just happy!

Pros

I love TeamViewer for that fact that if i did a website for someone or they are having issues with their site or computer , I can use TeamViewer to see exactly what they see and resolve the issue Right there with them so they can see it in real time. I love the fact that this saves a whole lot of time from back and forth emails, phone calls or even going out to see the person at their location.

Cons

A lot of people are Leary of people connecting to their home computer and i feel like they could show a pop up window and explain exactly the sort of access i have and what they can and cannot grant me. It has it in fine print but i am thinking a pop up with a little tutorial section would be beneficial but other then that the program des what it is design to do and it does it well.

Cons

Pros

The most good thing about this software is that it is very easy to use and can be installed any device. I can connect to any computer as long I do the remote connection has internet. The user interface is also very easy to learn.

Cons

The least that I like about this software is that the price is a little bit high.

The very first thing I open in the morning and probably the last I close.

Pros

I often need to run a local web server in my work PC, but prefer to edit the code on my personal PC since it has better peripherals and I am more used to it. Being able to control the work PC from my personal one is a game changer in my workflow and I don't know what I would do without it.

Cons

Sometimes it gets tricky sending commands and key combinations from one operating system to the other one. This might be a minor inconvenience for most people that are used to only use the mouse or so. Probably not that important.

I love that it always works (never had any glitches), the screen resolution can be changed depending on the screen size I am logging in from and, best of all, I love that I have access to my work computer from wherever I am. It reduces a lot of stress and right now, that's value you can't measure.

Cons

I cannot think of anything that I don't like about this software. It is fantastic!

TeamViewer is one of the best screen sharing software out there at this current moment, if you have't tried it I would highly recommend you give it a shot and see for yourself. I promise you, you won't go back to using any other screen sharing software.

Pros

\- One of the best screen sharing software I have used - I use this software on a daily bases at work, and the amount of work we get done to this software is unbelievable - I have used several different screen sharing softwares but haven't found anything close to this good - The fact that users can take control of other peoples screen is one of the best, this makes life so much easier, I have simply taken control of peoples computer and showed them how to get their work done, this would have easily taken twice the amount of time if I didn't have this feature. Love this app and would def recommend it to everyone, not only for work but for personal use as well

Cons

\- Takes a little long to install for users that are installing it for a first time, which isn't a big deal, I let my clients know to have this software installed on their computer before the meeting. Not a deal breaker at all

Overall it's good enough for what it is but I would think in 2019 we'd have a solution that gives a smoother control of the partner computer considering that internet speeds have increased and computing power has multiplied. The experience feels like you are controlling a computer from the 90's when in fact it could be a brand new one.

Pros

With a permanent password easily allows me to access the teams computers to make any changes or updates I need. Simple enough to use, once you have the password set up.

Cons

It's heavy and the response time on the partner computer is slow. There have been frequent outages making connections impossible. It disconnects for no apparent reason. Sometimes it will just freeze up not allowing you to do anything and you have to reconnect even though both partners have functioning internet.

i can tell best about this software but if i have to tell least about is security if someone accessing your computer and you don't know about some functions in your computer he can easily get all your information.that is too risky who know very least about computer or software or something like that.you will handover all your pc to somebody if everything going right its ok other wise some information they can steal

Overall experience is way better than we expected. The tool is a complete suite for all remote accessing the machine with multi-platform support.

Pros

TeamViewer has an expertise in the screen sharing and remote access. We use teamviewer for remote accessing the virtual machines so that we can multi-access and effectively make use of time. This saves a lot of time and money for buying new hardware and machines. We use data exploration techniques on VMs and focus on main work with user machine. Thus at same time we have 4-5 Systems on a single hardware.

Cons

TeamViewer lacks some features like timeout for the access. There should be an option to automatically shut down the machine once a particular amount of timer expires. Additionally this will increase security and privacy.

TeamViewer is a fantastic application, which allows you to remotely control computers or devices anywhere, just obviously having internet and the active application on the destination computer, allowing you to manage it, work using the files and everything you normally do in front of the computer. It is very useful and the possibilities are infinite according to what you need to do, it also allows you to manage servers remotely since they are also computers, you can have a network of computers that you need to manage and be aware of and with this tool you will not need to do it. physical form, but leave the program active and you can enter when you want is fantastic.

Cons

The downside is the security breach that leaves the program, as it is a port open to any intruder, it should also be noted that if you use the computer and someone sees, he can steal the id and enter later, violating your privacy and security so you must use it with care.

I feel the developers must come with an added feature that can provide this service across the home wireless network or other connections networked protocols like the intranet. This must be a portable version bypassing distinctive private domains and can help any user across multiple operating systems. All in all, it is a good software when you need to connect to your computer because it is very easy to setup it and I do not need to use any VPN or change router settings as for windows remote desktop.

Pros

The functions which is liked the most are: 1. I can login to remote computer without need of another person sitting to the remote computer. 2. Very easy setup. 3. Very good file transfer between computers.

Cons

The software has such problems: 1. Problem with resolution. If remote computer has higher resolution, then you see very small window and everything is very small and hard to work. For example, windows remote desktop adjusts the resolution on remote computer automatically so it works very good. 2. Unclear free-user conditions. Suddenly one connection was disconnected but it was not used very frequently and I do not understand what are the time conditions or terms. It should be clearer how much I can use the software for free.

We switched to TeamViewer from Remote Support System, with which we were using to connect to client computers to help resolve issues or show them how to do something. Overall, it has been worth the money we spent. We'd like to upgrade to another perpetual license, however, those aren't offered anymore.

Pros

The best part of TeamViewer is the ability to set up unattended access, especially when you have a large number of machines to support. When performing a restart on a remote computer, TeamViewer offers the option to reconnect to it after it reboots. There are times, albeit rarely, where it doesn't provide the option; in those cases you simply have to watch the TeamViewer window to recognize when a machine is back online.

Cons

When we purchased TeamViewer, it was a perpetual license. Nowadays, TeamViewer wants to charge monthly service. It doesn't matter how many times we've marked it not to show us the marketing messages for the subscription service, it seems to forget after a month or two and starts prompting us to upgrade.

My clients and my colleagues used to ask me for the help anytime and this software is just like a boon. I can provide them support remotely and give them a satisfactory solution.

Pros

The setup is very easy with fewer steps. Any non-technical guy can setup it if one can provide good instruction. We can review, edit and work remotely to another system if there is teamviewer set up on both the system. Screen sharing and file sharing is easy now with it. Also, you can manage your server, no worries wherever you are! This can be the secured way to be present to work on the sensitive data, remotely.

Cons

It hangs up sometimes otherwise there are no specific cons of this tool/ software.

I have used teamviewer sometimes for personal stuff and it has been very helpful. Also I have used it to help another people with a software that they were having trouble. Also I have used it to connect remotely to work and work from home and I would say my experience with it has been pretty good!

Pros

\- It allows you to connect to a remote pc or tablet and have control over it. - It allows you to chat with between terminals, which helps to communicate with the person on the other end. - It allows you to transfer files from one terminal to another, which can be very helpful because you don't have to use another method to share files between terminals. - It is free if it is for personal use. - It can be used to help people if they are having problems with doing something in the computer and you are not there physically to help them. - It allows you to have a list of terminals that you can connect to and also tells you if that terminal is available for remote connection.

Cons

\- Sometimes the speed to transfer files between terminals feels kind of slow. - If you are using different versions of teamviewer on devices then you can't connect to the device, you need to update the version.

I can be out without worrying about any work emergencies since I can still access my computer from anywhere.

Pros

The quality and response rate of Teamviewer is quite impressive. It makes connecting to my home office machine from a mobile device quite simple. I've even recently learned that you can log into their website and connect without needing to install a client app, which I really like. The UI for managing several machines means I can easily use it for work as well as troubleshooting problems remotely on other's computers.

Cons

Their licensing system is buggy. I've seen it incorrectly flag accounts as being used for commercial purposes, forcing the paid upgrade. You have to use a form on their site to fix it, and it can take a few weeks to get resolved.

Depende mucho de la conexión en internet de los dos usuarios, esto afecta en los movimientos y la visualización de lo que se esta haciendo o solucionando en el programa del cliente, otra contra esque hay que ingresar siempre el sistema de contraseñas y depende de la comunicación de la otra persona para poder ingresar a un pc, falta un sistema en el cual pueda haber una opción de acceso automático para poder generar una opción de teletrabajo sin depender de alguien en el otro computador.

TeamViewer is a program that I especially like because it is lightweight and quick to install. It has multiple support for different operating systems. In general, the quality of the remote connection is stable. It has an easy to use and navigate GUI. I also like it because it has a chat function.

Cons

The program does not work with older versions, so you will always have to keep the latest version for it to work properly.
