TeamViewer was always the first option to do this, and always was a success. Pros What I like the most about TeamViewer is the ease of use, with just a couple of steps you can share your desktop with anyone you want. The community is great and there is lots of documentation online. Cons Well, there is not I particulary dislike about TeamViewer. Maybe it could offer some audio features with the screen sharing simultaneously. This is great because there's always a solution when we seek one. Pros We have been using TeamViewer for years now and it provides us with great remote access to any client that needs it. It saves us hours of time because we can fire up the program and sort things quickly, rather than having to travel to a client's office - or they to us. Cons No downsides for us! Pros I have used TV for years now for remote support and screen sharing. The ability to run as an executable but not install is favorable and the freeware side of the software is great for customers who don't want to pay for remote support. Screen sharing capability has always been great and a go-to for myself. Cons Sometimes the session timeouts occur too often and it can be flaky at times with regards to different versions of the software. Pros I love that I can even use the phone app to control my computer. I can access my files from anywhere and not have to move them from computer to computer. Plus, I update it in one place and the changes are there. No more multiple versions of the same file. I also use the remote control feature a lot to show end users how to perform specific tasks when I introduce new procedures or documents. It is far and above better than trying to verbally walk someone through something and both users operating blind. It has expedited tasks tenfold which frees me up to do other things. The meeting feature has become one of my newest to test and so far I have had positive responses all the way around! Cons Sometimes when I am using my mobile device I can experience a lag but it is hard to determine if that is because of TeamViewer or may be a connection issue. November 29, 2021 5.0 My computer would open files that I had not opened and kicked me out of my work place's printer. It became sluggish when I tried to use the internet, and had glitches. I was asked by our IT guy to install Teamviewer so he could have remote access to my computer and reverse the problem. I found the Application on the Microsoft store. After installing it, we had a conversation over Teamviewer where I explained my problems in detail. He fixed every single one of them as I was explaining everything to him virtually and remotely. This is a winner, especially during Covid times! Pros This is an easily accessible software as you do not need to go over the counter physically to have it installed. After I downloaded it into my PC, I was able to allow our IT guy to uninstall automated updates which affected my laptop's speed, as well as accessibility to the work place's printer. You can use it for meetings too But for now, we have to switch to a different product to suffice our needs. Pros Well, honestly speaking, we initially used this software because it is has free trial. Functionality-wise, this is the best remote app available. It is very easy to use, it's just like you are using your PC, but on a different medium like your phone or tablet. The tabs/keys are easy to navigate and the environment is real time, no buffering, unless your data or wifi is bad. You can also add multiple PCs to your account, meaning you can access them all simultaneously. I seldom experience crash, only due to the pc performance. Cons Now, they are enforcing for you to buy the premium so you can enjoy all features. If you are using the free trial, after a while, you can only use it for about 5mins, then you will be disconnected. You'll have to wait another 5mins before you can connect again. I mean, all features in the free trial are very good, but then we have to subscribe to premium to use them again. We are not allowed to subscribe since IT will not allow 3rd party software like this due to security issue. So now, we could barely use it, it used to be our no. 1, but not anymore, sadly. Pros Basically i am a freelancer. Even i don't know about TeamViewer before freelancing. I listen about TeamViewer form my American client. Then i will install TeamViewer because i have a meeting with my Client and after meeting he will sign a contract with me. So when i install it i will share a link with my client. He just connect aa cal and we are in meeting. He is easily control my screen. Its a very outstanding software when you are working with anyone and he just watching Your work and control your screen without doing anything . He have monitor all the activities which is done from any seller. Its very beneficial for both clients and seller's. Cons One of the biggest drawback or cons of the TeamViewer is connectivity issue. Many time when i was connected with my client my screen was stuck and client just say that kindly solve this problem i was just see that what are you doing and when ever you done any mistake i will warn.
