My overall experience with TeamViewer is amazing. I have very little issues when I use it and I will continue using it

Pros

It has a very easy implementation process to install on new computers. Then you were able to access your portal from the web, your smartphone basically from anywhere. That makes it very efficient and easy to use

Cons

Sometimes the connection speeds can be slow. As well as some of the file transfers can take a lot longer than I would like besides that it's a fantastic remote support software

My first instance to witness the usefulness of TeamViewer was when I was stuck in my office with an audiometry machine connected to a computer. There was a technical fault which I could not rectify and it required an intervention of a technician outside the country. It was like a miracle to see a cursor moving on my desktop and text fields being typed into by an invisible person, a thousand kilometers away.

Pros

The foremost advantage of TeamViewer is that it is very easy to install and to use. You don’t need to be an expert in IT to use it. Another advantage is that it can be installed on almost all operating systems, and you can, for example, control your windows PC at home using your android tablet while seated at the beach. The PC will appear on your tablet in full screen as if you have the PC in your hands. You can also share files between the two systems using a simple drag and drop feature.

Cons

It easily gets interrupted with poor internet connection, requiring you to restart the connection every time. You always need to have the same version of the application on all the devices to get successfully connected.

I am using the TeamViewer for a number of years and my experience is really nice and good with this software. Sometimes I want to teach few things in the computer of my friend, so he allows me to access his computer through TeamViewer. Now my life is really awesome just because of the TeamViewer.

Pros

TeamViewer is all time the best software to access any desktop from your computer. The remote access is now so easy and fast just because of the TeamViewer. The software really works with almost mobile devices, desktop devices, including macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android.

Cons

Connectivity, features, and all functions of TeamViewer are incredible. There are no cons. All things are perfect according to my point of view.

Teamviewer is secure and fast. The latency is negligible for any user logging in remotely.

Pros

The fact that it is already very full featured in the free version of the software is very beneficial in testing and using the software as a trial before deciding purchasing it.

Cons

Not much to dislike about Teamviewer. As it came out in 2005 it is way before the time of cloud collaboration and video conferencing support. Very revolutionary.

I don't like the method used to connect the devices, copying numbers is outdated, they should update that aspect

TeamViewer is the best application out there that IT peeps can use to do remote desktop or laptop control. Now, I don't need to wait until I go back to the City or for our IT department to fix my laptop problem. All I need to do is to create a ticket, and in a heartbeat, my IT department instantaneously controls and do the fixing on my computer or laptop.

Pros

I typically have technical difficulties in using my laptop or work personal computer. The bottleneck was I am not really the tech person, and sometimes we do recruitment caravans in far-flung areas where there are no service centers. Good thing our IT department discovered TeamViewer. So me being all around the place or in a different island or timezone really doesn't matter anymore since our IT department can save my day by just us having remote access through TeamViewer. My IT support can fix my computer while I grab a coffee and take a break. After the coffee is done, I can go back to work! Thanks TeamViewer for making our lives easy!

Cons

I really don't have any bad experience with TeamViewer. One thing they can improve on is having people not download TeamViewer anymore when we need to use it. Maybe they can create a chrome extension or sort of those...

Have a tool that makes fast the processes in a company or the day to day of any person, I think it is extraordinary and the truth is that all this digital revolution has brought things that make life easier for users, even when we are very demanding

Pros

From the corporate point of view, it is a great tool. Every day I see how support partners connect to computers in other areas and solve problems from their own machines, through remote connections. The result? Agility, increased efficiency, saving money and time. Another thing that calls me a lot is the opportunity to transfer files (of course, the speed of this will depend on the Internet). I give you an example: My grandfather is cinephile, but he does not know how to use his PC well, so with this program, what I do is take control of his PC, and I put his favorite movies or series from my cell phone or laptop. It is a wonder...

Cons

Negative? Nothing. Just kidding, nothing is perfect. However, it is something that I think has nothing to do with the program but with Intenert, and is that without that service on both computers, it will be impossible to use it. From rest to me, as a user, I think it's great. Super useful in my day to day.

As an IT tech, I have used this software numerous times to connect to clients 40 to 100 miles away out in the wilderness. I have been able to connect and help my clients via desktop sharing no matter how slow their internet connection has been. Being able to easily help a client install find, download, and install TeamViewer is one of the things that locked me into loving it. Clients are also happy with the ease of setup, use of a generated username and password, and the security they feel that only I can connect with the username and password that they provide. Thank you to the TeamViewer team from myself and my customers!

Pros

This software has helped me to help my clients. I am an IT Tech in a very rural area. A lot of my clients are elderly and not able to travel into town to have there basic computer problems solved. TeamViewer has allowed me to securely log into their computer remotely and fix problems from viruses, malware, registry, or even tutor clients on the use of newly installed software. Not only am I giving this a good review for ease of use and helpfulness, my clients also have mentioned numerous times that they are thankful for such a service.

Cons

I have absolutely zero complaints about this software. It does what is is designed to do and does it right.

### "A great tool for remote management of computers"

We are able to remote into machines to view someone's screen when we don't have any other tools that allow us to do that. It can be very helpful from a technical help perspective.

Pros

The thing I like most about TeamViewer is that I can set it up on multiple computers and then install the software on any other computer, login to my account and see all of the computers that I manage. I don't have to do any additional setup, when I login with my TeamViewer account, it shows a list of all computers that I manage and I am able to remote control into those computers right away.

Cons

I think it is a bit clunky and not user-friendly the way that computers are added to your collection of computers that you manage. There are strange codes that are used and you also have to remember to check a box that allows you to remote in without using a code (I would think that once you login to your account with your username and password, you shouldn't need an additional code to remote into your computers). You have to remember to check a box that says not to require this code.

Pros

Easy to use, no need to set up connections, servers, IP addresses etc. Stays in the background Feature rich, file sharing, screen sharing and everything you would wish for By far the market leader

Cons

This software is free for personal use, so one fine day, while you are using this to help your elderly mother with her computer, they block you because they think you are using it for business and then you have to write to them and wait for weeks to be unlocked, if they chose to unlock you. DO NOT COME TO DEPEND ON THIS SOFTWARE if you are a free user I am still looking for an alternative

TeamViewer is the best tool for remote desktop support in multiple market segments. Its ease of use is superb, and plainly worded, it just works. Its ability to log into your own machines remotely is also a welcomed feature. A great piece of software.

Pros

TeamViewer is simple to install, and doesn't even require an installation to run. The requisite information from the remote client is simple for novice users to obtain, and it's very clear that someone is connected and what he or she is doing. There's an easy way for a user to abort a connection, so the remote user feels in control. Being free for non-commercial use, and being available on a multitude of form factors, this is exceptional software.

Cons

The biggest pain with this software is how often it's updated with minor revision numbers. I don't recall the last time I used it and wasn't prompted to update the version. This is very confusing to end users when they are told they need to upgrade software they haven't launched in quite a while, and when the current client still works.

Am very glad I'm using this software , it has really helped me and my colleague to have easy access to our device in solving complex issues from home, office and site.

Pros

I used TeamViewer daily, it helps me in having easy access to my colleague device without coming to my office. It does not hung no matter how larger other files I opened, it keeps working perfectly. There is no special tricks in installing the software, just download and install and it will keep working. The speed at which the remote connection is done is absolutely fast. The interface of the software also make me attend many virtual work meetings, conferences and business meetings.

Cons

I don't really see any reason to say negative things about this software, but there is this prompt message saying "commercial use detected" even when am using it privately.

Pros

1\. Easy setup and very simple UI. 2. It allows you to access systems via a remote connection over internet. 3. Free version is really good for limited usage and provides ample amount of functionality.

Cons

1\. Sometimes, the connection is very weak and it unnecessarily increases the turn around time for a task. 2. The free version has limitation with the amount of time and also features. 3. There are a few security vulnerabilities.

I have been using Team Viewer for quite a few years now and it is a lot simpler that doing the Microsoft Remote Desktop Connections

Pros

This software is great for connecting remotely to desktops whether to manage a second computer that you have or on the enterprise level with many computers. It has provided even the means of being able to help my parents with their computer even though they are more than a 1,000 miles away. I can help them without having to jump on a plane.

There are few teams and organizations nowadays that don't have some of their staff working remotely. This can slow down organizational efforts tremendously without having the right collaborative tools in place. TeamViewer is a basic screen-sharing and remote login tool that allows people to collaborate on the same page (literally) even if they are thousands of miles apart. You can use TeamViewer to administer I.T. support, walk a new salesman through a slide deck, demonstrate the capabilities of software or a website to new users, and other similar tasks. This can save you tremendous amounts of time describing concepts over the phone, or even traveling in person to sites to perform the same tasks you could do remotely via TeamViewer.

Cons

There can be occasional latency issues, and the shared image can occasionally get distorted. However, this is just as likely to be the fault of your internet connection's speed and stability as it is to be an issue with TeamViewer itself.

Its been a great tool for me! Not only has is minimized response times, but it has allowed me to understand what is happening on the other end because I am able to see it first hand. I would definitely recommend the use of TeamViewer, especially as a means of liaising with academic colleagues and advisers.

Pros

This software is most helpful when you really need the help of a technician or colleague but it is difficult to explain over the phone what you need help with. Taking it a step further, the person on the other end can see what needs to be done and do it seamlessly without having to try explain over the phone to the pc user. This makes for a very fast and effective communicative tool . The best thing about TeamViewer? Its FREE! I also like that its is popular (probably because it it free) and so I often do not have to explain what it is to people when we need to use it. TeamViewer has helped solved many problems of mine and my team in the field. It is great in academia, especially when dealing with modeling and statistician for science. This software is one step towards bridging a gap in situations where face-to-face assistance is not possible.

Cons

Connection can be somewhat temperamental. In order for it to work most effectively, one needs a very good internet connection, which not everyone has access to. The free version time is very limited...it will alos log out. This is a let-down. It would also be nice to connect more than two computers on it.

Teamviewer is one of the most useful software in this period where work from home is the new normal. It allows me to easily assist my colleagues with all their IT enquiries. The connection through teamviewer is fast and the software is compatible with both windows and mac systems

Pros

I like the speed of connectivity to the remote desktop when I'm on a session supporting my colleagues. The connection rarely drops and the screen rarely lags compared to other competitors.

Cons

Teamviewer is free for personal use but pricing is a bit on the high end. As a business I can afford to buy the software but the problem is that you will need to pay to upgrade to newer major versions
