### "Good Remote Connection platform"

Its a good platform to perform sharing, troubleshooting and remotely performing work but it needs work on connection issues, integration and their licensing models needs some changes.

Pros

It is a really good platform to remotely connect to your PC and be able to access the information you and work on your things remotely. It comes handy when one cannot be present locally. As long as there is a stable network connection teamviewer will work. Also in many industries some companies currently use it for technical support in order to view the end users computer and have access to their screen so they can see what is going on and help them resolve issues. This is probably one of the best features I can think of as when I was having issues with one of the product we buy from a company, their tech support were able to help me resolve by being able to view what is going on my screen. It is a very secure platform as it requires multiple layers of connections and authorizations before being able to connect remotely.

Cons

It is expensive to use and their license is expensive too as the company has to renew their license every year to be able to use it. Also in my experience while using this platform there were multiple disconnections and connection issues at the beginning. I think it needs to be much more well integrated in terms of chatting, file sharing and multiple connection hosting. Minor glitches on the internet has caused my connection to crash many times or audio to not work properly. I have learnt that having different version of the team viewer for the same connection generates some issues as well which in my opinion should not be the case for a proper integrated sharing platform.

Its a great software, providing a very important functionality of remote desktop access. It has a wide variety of features like audio access, keyboard access, recording etc. The android app enables access from smartphone, giving it flexibility. Its also free, which makes it a lot more accessible for people.

Pros

The downloading and running TeamViewer is pretty much straightforward. The software is small in size and provides guidelines to set up. It also works quite well in poor data connection. Besides, its cross-platform features enable it to be usable in both desktop and smartphone.

Cons

If a person wrongfully acquires remote access, the person can install malwares in your PC. Scammers use it to scam innocent people in the name of PC repairing. So make sure to enable the safety features in the software.

I'd say 50% / 50%. although it is a great product getting that surprise and having to jump many hurdles to get it again is not nice.

Pros

It is a tool that allows somebody or yourself remote to use or have access to another computer, that is cool and helps a lot in many situations. It has saved me more than once whn I am not at my desk and I can't let anybody else look at my computer.

Cons

I had a customer use the software and devoted only to his work. But since he had to log on and off many times due to a faulty internet service, as the end the software wanted us to purchase a free product saying it was being used professionally and it was not.

My overall experience with TeamViewer is really great, because I use this software to access my friend’s devices. Sometimes if they want to learn some skills from me, then I teach them on their devices through TeamViewer. Even my company also use this software to access devices in the different offices and branches of company. I am really happy with TeamViewer.

Pros

TeamViewer is a professional remote access, remote support solution, remote access that works perfectly with all devices including desktop and mobile platforms. All windows, Android, iOS and macOS users can use this incredible software. You can access your partner device from anywhere. You can share your screen on iPads and iPhones.

Cons

The use of this software is really easy, because just with the username and password of your partner, you can access your partner’s device. This works perfectly without any issues and cons. I never faced any issue in TeamViewer.

Pros

Online meetings, video conferencing and it’s like is great on this software. The platform is easy to use and the video and sound quality is just awesome.

Cons

I find it difficult to share large files on this platform. And connecting to others on a slow network connection is actually really frustrating.

I work from home, so any problems I have with the software I use I have to contact my customer support at work. We use teamviewer in order to check and solve any problems that may arise. I have also used teamviewer to fix things in my personal pc as I could have a friend check it for me without being present as he lived 5 hours away.

Pros

\- If you have problems with your computer a friend or technician that is far away can check on your computer without having the be physically there. - I work from home, and any problems my work laptop encounters I can email someone at the main office and he/she can check my computer via TeamViewer

\- At the beginning it can be quite intimidating to use, just make sure that the person you are given the password is trustworthy. And you can always stop the sharing. - Depending on the computer it can become kind of slow when using the teamviewer software, but this only happens while someone is "logged into your computer" - You need to have an internet connection for it to work. Pros

Teamviewer has helped a lot in setting up a lot of things remotely without any hassle. The remote connectivity works just fine as compared to the other apps that I have used, the unattended feature which I find powerful doesn't interfere with UAC (user account control) on Windows while installing the App whereas the other remote controlling app requires remote user intervention to allow the installation of the program while working remotely. It also works with the slow speed it lags but I have never experienced disconnection because of slow speed that's the plus point and as soon as the speed is stable the user experience gets better.

Cons

Software license compatibilty, you can connect to backward versions but the new versions will show you a popup to force you to upgrade to the latest version. Sometimes you're disconnected but it takes time to reconnect or it doesn't connect at all so closing and reopening the application do the job so you have to call someone to do this which ruins the unattended experience. A bit pricey.

During the pandemic, this was a life saver. All of the stores were closed and my computer started acting up. I couldn't take it anywhere and I couldn't have anyone over to my house to look at it. Without my computer, I am completely unable to do anything in reference to my job or even my personal life. Even as things are starting to go back to normal, I'll still use team viewer because I realized how much of a time suck computer repairs can be.

Pros

The program itself was easy to use. All I had to do was install the program on my computer and give my Tech Support company access to it. They could take care of everything remotely; any problem I was having they could fix. They knew what they were doing so the amount of time it took for them to fix it was significantly less than it ever would have taken if I tried to fix it and it was much easier and convenient for them to be able to log right in while I took a shower or made coffee instead of me having to take the computer somewhere.

Cons

I'm not sure that there was anything I can personally think of that I strongly disliked about this software. It is worth noting that if TeamViewer is continuously on in the background, it will use a lot of data. This can obviously be fixed by making sure you close the program when it is not in use.

As an audio engineer and music producer, TeamViewer was a lifesaver to me, since I mostly work with clients from all corners of the world it is very often that we find difficulties understanding each other's visions and ideas, TeamViewer stepped up and made it easy to access ones project files and adjust every little element in the musical scores or mixing decisions.

Pros

\- Remotely solves software problems in a blink of an eye. - Sharing ideas with collaborators is made so easy with TeamViewer. - I can't think of an easier way to use remote controls other than TeamViewer.

Cons

\- It lags at certain times of the process. \* I wish there was a control function that allows you to use the desktop separately instead of fighting over control.

Very satisfied. This software is especially useful for online computer tech support teams. They can easily fix computer problems of their customers remotely in very short period of time. And best of all the other party does not need to be technically inclined.

Pros

This software is fantastic. I used it several times when setting up my parents computer. Software allows remotely fix/control desktop/laptop computers. My parents live in another state and they cannot handle technology very well. As long as both parties are connected to internet and have TeamViewer installed you can pretty easily manage remotely located computer. Here are some advantages of TeamViewer: 1) It is free for personal, non-commercial use 2) User interface as well as menu commands are pretty easy, even for the person who is running it for the first time. You will not spend time looking for commands and menu options, everything is pretty straightforward. 3) Complete control over remotely located computer (you can install apps, change computer settings, etc) 4) It works pretty smooth, I never had connection issues or lags 5) Real time video stream of other desktop. When managing remotely controlled computer you will see exactly what the other person is seeing. That is, you'll be managing as if it is your computer.

Cons

So far I do not have any negative experience with this software.

Great experience all round and can really make helping someone remotely a very simple process.

Pros

Team view is simple and easy to install. Once installed, they give each person a key and a password. This makes is very easy to help clients, or staff or even family if they need help with anything technical and you cannot be there in person. I've used it to help clients set up emails, I've used it to help staff set up campaigns and make changes to sales pipelines, and I've even used it to help family who need help with their PC

Cons

The software updates often, and after some time passes, if someone who you previously helped needs assistance again, theirs a large chance that they would need to update to the latest version of team viewer in order for you to help them. This can be cumbersome.

Pros

We are using TeamViewer to troubleshoot the systems of our clients located on offshore and to get there screen shared to have various presentations done. TeamViewer is best suite to fix issues on real time and to get the things done in time. We are also using this tool to share our screens to the clients to have discussions on various presentations. It is really great to manage teams that are situated offshore and to fix their issues in time.

Cons

The main issue is with the annual costs, as we are using this tool for more than 2 years. Our annual cost keeps on increasing since they increase our annual licensing fees. Please try to make a flexible plan on annual basis.

Pros

As I am software developer I have many clients which I provide support regularly. I have customers even in foreign country and in order to provide efficient support to all of them I can’t be in different places at the same time. But thanks to TeamViewer I don’t have such problems. I can assist to all my customers and solve their problems in minutes thanks to remote control feature of TeamViewer. Another great feature of TeamViewer is chatting and video conferencing feature while remote control which makes things done with better results.

Cons

All is great but in non commercial version I could’t find screen recording feature. It would be great if customers can record screen while I assist them and whenever same problem happens they can solve it by their own.

TeamViewer uses illegal predatory contracts requiring 28 day notification through their own controlled system, that makes it difficult to manage. The Licensing team is not their to help but rather to ensure you cannot exit their contracts. These are not reasonable business people. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

Fixing problems remotely has never been this good. It is super practical and extremely easy to use.

Pros

TeamViewer has a tons of experience behind it, it started early in the game and you can see the software is pretty stable. It is consistent and fast, it has lesser downtime then google chrome remote. Configuration is pretty easy too, we have an office overseas and there are times when they wants us to fix something and all they have to do is give us and id and a password and we could take control of the computer. There are tons of features too, like the monitor size feature as well, they have a huge monitor and i have a smaller one, i could adjust it to my size. The clipboard is pretty nice too, i could copy something on my machine and paste it on the remote one.

Cons

Price beyond personal use is way too expensive especially if you dont use it frequently. They should have at least a small team license or have a number of times use license. The sounds is sometimes working, sometimes it wont go through.
