I used this product from more 7 years and I like speed and reliability.

Pros

It's the reliability and easy to use product. I like the possibilities and simplicity. It's an excellent software to help collegues and customers.

Cons

New features and have to pay monthly or annualy. When is it possible to buy a full-time licence and take maintenance if necessary. The product is more expansive than before.

I am using it so long that I even forgot to pay attention to its shortcomings. It has become just a tool I use every day. I like it, and it is useful, well, essential for my work.

Pros

Remote opštions are a necessary tool for IT services companies. We really did not have a choice back then when we started using TeamViewer. Today, we continue to use it because it evolves together with our needs. Excellent quality of voice and resource sharing makes it our everyday tool for IT support.

Cons

The pricing plan is a little bit tight, no other complaints really.

### "Great Product, difficult/unfair license model"

I didn't want to renew as one client says that I'm not allowed to run it in their org. So I found an alternative ConnectWise Control. Has more features built-in w/out extra per month costs. Teamviewer on the other hand automatically renewed the yearly subscription... Even though I didn't want it. Granted I was less than 28 days to renewal and they wouldn't cancel. I then had my credit card decline the charges and within a few weeks I rec'd a letter from a credit agency w/ a fee tacked on. At that point it was easier to simply pay for it and cancel next year. Ridiculous.

Pros

It functions appropriately, primarily use it from one computer to connect to clients which is best.

Cons

The yearly commitment renewal with barely a weeks notice that you have to either cancel or renew. God forbid you're within the 28 day period before the end of your contract -- you'll be stuck paying for it for another year. The email has a link to create a Helpdesk ticket to cancel -- no way to change credit card info online, or simply go month to month.

Reason for choosing TeamViewer ONE

I chose it because I was FORCED to renew my yearly subscription (no monthly allowed) even though I didn't want it. And YES, according to their contract I needed to cancel before 28 days prior to renewal and I didn't... So they automatically charged me. Very similar to GoToMyPC tactics.

### "Perfect for remote access of your Computer"

It is very good software that is used widely in my company the last days due to the Covid-19 work from home policy. As remote access from personal computers is not ideal in order to connect to the comany servers we currently found a business workaround to gain time and that includes team viewer. Company laptop stays on premise and thus with very good speed to company server. We then connect to the company laptop via team viewer from our home PC and do whatever we need to the server. Perfect software and great features!

Pros

It is possibly the best software for remote access to your PC. You can transfer files, etc in no time and free up your hands when you have forgot to do something but have no access to your company laptop.

Cons

It is quite expensive for company use and you really need a high speed connection in both ways to make successful transfers of big files. Although good with VPN there problems in connecting to proxy servers.

Helping and resolving issue of non technical user who doesn't understand the technical stuff. it is very simple for us now to ask for team viewer id and pre generated passcode and job will be done. User experience improved drastically and we are doing very efficient job with the help o team viewer.

Pros

For any technical assistance for non technical user - We should have team viewer - It is must product. We are using this product from quite long time now. Best user experience - Simple UI and ease of access. Enter your partners team viewer id and pre generated password and done. It is that simple and very very helpful. Mobile application is also good and can take control of your laptop/pc through mobile which is quite impressive feature of this application. Sharing attachment is quite easy through team viewer, you can do chat as well.

Cons

The major thing which I don't like - if you are doing some technical testing and connection interrupt in between it will never reconnect automatically which is real pain and you have to reconnect again from scratch.

Pros

I use Team Viewer for a single purpose. It allows my VA to log into a social ad posting system we use without my having to be around. This system has been working well for two years now and makes up a large part of my work for a large client, so without it things would be far more difficult. It has also been a lifesaver on several occasions when I was travelling and desperately needed to access something on my home PC.

Cons

There is far more functionality to it than I actually use, but for what I need to utilize it for I have zero complaints.

Team viewer help me a lot on supporting desktop to my client. Especially on non technical client. This makes desktop remote easily even a work station without a team viewer installed.

Pros

I like the most on this software is the installer. You can use this without installing the whole software. This software is very easy to use even a user with no experience using desktop can use this. The use interface is easy to understand.

Cons

Most I don't want on this software is the backward compatibility. you cannot remote desktop with old version of application.

TeamViewer app is also available on a mobile platforms such as Android phones which makes it great utility on the go. The app uses secure and encrypted connections during a remote control sessions. The app is available free for personal use and available in decent pricing plans for commercial use.

Cons

Sometimes the connection breaks automatically during a remote-control session, the issue might be due to slow internet connections. Overall it is a great app and I really like it.

I've had nothing but good experiences with TeamViewer and we continue to rely on them heavily for the use of remote support.

Pros

I love it's ease of use and the ability to brand your host setups and quick support tools. It's a must-have tool if you're serious about providing world-class remote support. I also love that you're able to have desktop and mobile remote support capabilities.

Cons

As of this moment the only things that I like the least is the inability to remote into both display at once rather than switch through displays if the computer that you are remoting into is a dual display pc.

It is very simple to use and you can access other desktop from anywhere simply why knowing the respective I'd of that device. It is very safe and there is no time lag whice accessing or screen sharing. Installation and configuration of TeamViewer is simple and compatible for all Operating systems like windows,mac, etc.

Cons

It should add some more features and update it further for better experience and the cost is bit expensive .The customer support is also not much impressive and we face some problems when we need to connect between the devices of older update and newly updated one.

Cons

You must add more themes that are not only light and dark, so that any user can choose the color of the TeamViewer design, many programs have these characteristics, but this platform does not have them, so if you want to follow the right path you should add that function.

I use this program at work, normally when we have some problems with the computer and the computer department connects in our computer to can see what happens. Popularly this program works well, but have some limitations and a lot of competence.

Pros

I use it in my labour sphere. This program helps us to share our computer screen with another computer. The strengths of this program are that is free, is very intuitive and you can share screen quickly with another person. Is very helpful when you have a problem with some APP and don't know what happens, because you can share your screen with a computer technician.

Cons

Normally it's useful but sometimes goes slow. Also, sometimes the password and user to share the program give an error and you need to restart it. On the other hand, sometimes it doesn't work because you and the other person have different versions and someone needs to update the program.

Great all-over.

Pros

It's a secure way to connect two people, for support or personal usage. It's easy to install and the interface is very friendly and intuitive and not confusing, unlike some other remote connection tools that I've previously used at my previous job. The data transfer feature is a great add-on too. It needs to be a little faster though. Something that makes it stand out is the mobility. TeamViewer mobile works just fine as well. I use two screens and so do some of the customers I provide assistance to remotely, and switching between screens has never been easier.

Cons

Not too much to complain about, honestly. The only thing that I personally had a problem with is the instability in case of dealing with a not-very-good internet connection. It usually runs just fine, but the connection strength could be the only hiccup there. But besides that, it's awesome and I love it.

A great application for remote access and file sharing, would continue using the paid version for our LMS, but would prefer other free competitors for remote access.

Pros

1- The screen quality is much better than the competitors using the default settings. 2- It provides lighter file sharing. 3- Easy WordPress Integration.

Cons

1- We had an issue with the paid subscription type and it took almost 3 weeks to receive a reply to our ticket from their finance department during the peak of Covid-19's pandemic. 2- Less secure than other applications we used when it comes to the User Access Control, it doesn't dim the screen and ask the second party for authentication, instead it would authorize him. 3- The free edition has session limitations and will disconnect you frequently until it stops you from logging again, which do not happen with other free applications. 4- Pricing is higher than the competitors.

I have been using Teamviewer for over a decade. I used the free version for a very long time until, well, they made me buy it to keep using it the way that I did. I'm not sorry about that at all. I'm happy they made an honest woman out of me. LOL. It's just really great remote access software. I can't, and haven't, lived without it since I discovered it all those years ago. I can't recommend it enough. I love it and use it several times a week to help my clients.

Pros

I REALLY like the ease of use for remote access and transfer of files. I also like being able to "chat" with clients if we are already busy on our phones, very convenient.

Cons

I personally haven't come across a con yet.
