Pros I use both the free version for my personal use and the paid version for my office. I like the fact that there are both these options. It works great every time and is easy to use. So easy that I can guide my mom to give me her user id and password to connect and fix her computer. Cons When there is a version mismatch and the person on the other side is running a previous version of the software. It is incredibly hard for a non computer person to update and I feel stuck at those times. Pros The software is very easy to download, install and set up and, also, when it's all ready to go, TeamViewer is also very easy to use. Also, you can remotely control any device, laptops, phones, etc, which is very helpful. Pros TeamViewer is great for remote control from any device. Great for both personal and business use since it is fairly simple to use with enough functionalities. Love to access my PC form my mobile whenever I need something. It is available on almost all devices, which is great. Cons Often, TeamViewer is too slow and to buggy. This helps team members to seek help and solve their technical problems regardless of location. The voice and text chat also facilitates such support. Cons Its price can be somewhat high for small and medium-sized companies, making them opt for other tools that allow this type of support. Sometimes the image quality can become too high and is not regulated as it should causing intermittence in the connection if the bandwidth is not very good. It also allows for training to staff and you don't have to be present at the location. It's very easy to use and anyone can have access at any skill level. Pros What I like the most about TeamViewer is the ease of use and really good features for accessing accounts remotely. TeamViewer also has many other uses, but daily use is the capability for remote access. Cons TeamViewer is a little expensive for what I prefer. Since I have other tools I use for collaboration, it adds up if I'm only using the tool for remote access. I plan on exploring more of the features of TeamViewer to get it full capability. May 27, 2019 4.0 Having Teamviewer with me has helped me gain the confidence to do my job because I can easily have access to my colleagues when there is a challenge on the job which means help is just a Teamviewer away Pros Teamviewer software is a must for every non-techy person. when I have an issue to deal with and the person that can help me solve it is far away, TeamViewer becomes my superhero. It does not matter if I am on my android phone or Windows Pc, TeamViewer is always with me. I used the free non-commercial account. Its ability to work even with our not-so-fast office internet service is amazing. All I do is log in with my TeamViewer account details and voila! The guy from the other end can access all he wants and help me fix any challenges. TeamViewer has an attractive dashboard where you can easily see all the functions you need and yet the program is lightweight. You can also adjust the interface to suit your viewing need. I like that I can limit access to the remote user to exclude certain sensitive folders as well. We don't use it for remote team meetings and I cannot speak about its efficiency in that aspect because we already use another collaboration software and it will be hard to change that because most of us are already used to that one Cons I once tried it on my mac but could not get it to work even though I followed the same process on my windows pc. As previously mentioned, this software pays for itself as you are able to monitor all of your terminals from a single location. Deploying software and updates has never been easier. The ability to transfer files has also been very helpful. I would recommend this software to anyone who has multiple PC's in various locations. Pros This software has provided huge savings to our organization. We previously had to travel to each independent location to resolve technical issues. We can now perform those same tasks remotely, ultimately saving a lot of money. The ability to train users on the other without traveling to each location has been a blessing. Cons The only disappointment with this software is that it is now required to have an annual license. I has saved me a lot of trips and long hours of traffic, allowing me to do my work peacefully from home. Cons So far, using it weekly, almost daily, i'd say i havent had any issues using TeamViewer, neither my clients. Pros A perfect app to gain remote access to another system when I can't reach the system physically. Also, it is really great that it allows a feature for communication within the app for the people involved in it so that we can discuss anything through the application itself. Cons The application does not renew the password after a session has finished. It only renews the password when the application has been completely closed from the running apps. If I have connected to someone's laptop with their knowledge and then after the session I have disconnected it, but I still can connect to their laptop without their knowledge starting another new session unless if that person has fully stopped the app from the background running apps as well after disconnecting from the first session. It saves time as things can be done simultaneously, money as we dont need multiple systems with high configuration. I will definitely recommend using teamviewer. Pros I really liked the aspect working remotely on a different computer. This helps me in being connected with my research wherever I go. I dont need to backup everything as I can just connect to my work desktop and work from any place. It helps me to work on more than 1 machine at one time which helps me perform tasks simultaneously.
