### "TV is good, but... stop adding features!"

We have around 300 endpoints and TV is helping us provide support for our clients.

Pros

Started using it at version 8 (paid version) and were upgrading since. Although there are many other similar service out there, in my opinion TV is still the best and fastest.

Cons

The Company switched from buy/upgrade to subscription model and are trying hard to maximize profit by changing the licencing model on the expense of the client. They are constantly adding new features that noone is using. STOP.

Sometimes the Transfer rate is Not Real Time and it Nerds Good Internet Connection to work Good. Sometimes it disconnectes

Teamviewer has helped me to expand my business to an international market and truly a very trouble free software to use. I have only once had to get in touch with the customer service team and it was again a very pleasant experience as they know their stuff and always available to help.

Pros

Teamviewer is a critical tool for my business as my clients are located in various parts of the world. I was introduced to Teamviewer by a mentor and has been using it every since without a single glitch. The easy of use of the software and the multiple functionalities makes it an easy task and keeps my time-poor clients happy. I am able to come in fast and fix their problems.

Cons

Teamviewer has enabled me to form clients all over the world and I love to use it everyday. I don't have any current recommendations as the software does what it promises.

i believe that this is a fantastic product for anyone who wants to connect with another system of their own or to assist / support another person. Whether you are in the same state or a completely different country, this is definitely the software to use!

Pros

Super fast and easy to use support product for every day use. easy manageability and very quick secure connection to your managed endpoint. file transfer is excellent and never noticed any drops or corrupted files. The software is easy for even a very inexperienced user to install on their system to help you get connected to start troubleshooting their issue quickly. the built in chat functionality allows the sharing of links and other data securely without the risk of a breach or other issues.

Cons

i have noticed that when installing this on a users computer that does not have a ton of available resources, it can be quite sluggish when working on remotely. the resources tend to get pegged as the system tries to catch up and respond to commands.

Very positive. Definitely would recommend for any remote work.

Pros

We have multiple locations that we work from and often do it offsite by remotely connecting to PCs in those locations. We used a few different tools in the past and settled on TeamViewer in the end. The most important thing for us was reliability. There is often no person available on our sites when we remotely connect so having a reliable remote connection software was critical. And teamviewer never let us down. It automatically starts with the PC in case of a crash and reboot. Has enough diagnostic options in it to let us trouble shoot any problems. And works great even with slow internet. Cant recommend enough.

Cons

I really had little not no issues. I guess the only thing I could say that bugged me was updating it remote was a slight issue at times.

Pros

If you're like me as a small business, someone on your team probably has more technological knowledge than others. Being small and nimble doesn't necessarily allow you to hire a tech full time and the contracting companies are often slow and useless, so team viewer allows the tech leader of your business to help others (when it is critical -- not for small demands, of course) and take control of the computers remotely to pursue installations, debugging, and software updates or even tutorials.

Cons

The least interesting fact about teamviewer is their upsell department that will continuously try and bump you up to their subscription model. Which is aberrant and useless when you've paid for the full version as a one-time payment in the past. Other than that, nothing to complain about. It works and so far we haven't had any security issues!

Pros

I'm so satisfied with Team Viewer app. You can control your desktop, even in some situation it will be useful to use Team Viewer as a web camera (just launch webcam app on remote computer :) Also you now can control your Android device (It's so incredible!) You can help your family member from anywhere. And it always free for personal use!

Cons

Sometimes application have issues with connection, while internet speed is very good (20-50Mbps) and all ports are free.

Pros

TeamViewer is a charm. Just install and you're good to go. I loved the unattended feature that allows you to set a password to login to your managed systems without use intervention. It's very useful for those times you need to access someone's system at night from out of town for example. It's by far the best remote access solution I've come across.

Cons

The paid version is kind of pricey but there are lots of great features in the free (non-commercial) version

Pros

It is very easy to use and user-friendly. A user can disied which is can controll the remote user. There is lot of features are included in to the new Team viwer version as well such as chat, file sharing, voise call like that

Cons

If the free edition can update session time out it wil help to none orgnisation users to use this application.

There are benefits to TeamViewer, as I have already mentioned, but for most people a program like AnyDesk is more likely to be the program of choice - free and feature packed, although if you are needing to download files from your remote machine you are out of luck - teamviewer is great at that though!

Pros

Really easy to use, and you can make a list of multiple machines to switch between that make it much easier to use than say having to remember a series of Identifing code numbers. You can also use a whole series of clients, from mobile devices to PC's, and even use them to screen share from a mobile device to guide someone through how to use it!

Cons

The cost is a little expensive, and while it is free for home use, the algorithm that is used to determine whether it's being used for home or business use can get it wrong and cut out the software even when using for home - I paid for a licence actually for home use because it kept triggering wrongly!

TeamViewer helped the team members solve each others problems remotely.

Pros

The first best thing about TeamViewer is that it is free for individuals (non-commercial users). It's user friendly and flexible. As for commercial users, TeamViewer helps them conduct meetings, file sharing, remote printing, etc.. And the second best thing, we can use computer shortcuts while we are accessing other systems remotely!

Cons

The only thing for us is the high ram usage. Other than that there's no flaw in the software, at least for us.

This is a great software I have used many times to repair many computers. Despite the latter con I commented about in which the software could be occasionally confusing for a newbie- in comparison explaining how to connect is an easier process than other big name, remote connection software I have used.

Pros

The Shareware feature is easy to work with. To use the free version, simply download from Teamviewer.us to use the product. There are no trials to sign up for or sales agents chasing you around after you use it. The free version is only to be used for personal use. If were to need the product for business or commercial use, then purchasing licenses is required. A fun thing about Teamviewer is that you can swap desktops with the client you have gone into remotely to show the other party your current computer screen.

Cons

The software download is dual use for both sides of the remote connection. To be clear, the person who will be remote on another computer uses the same download as the computer user having their computer accepting the remote connection. This leads to occasional confusion for a newbie computer user whom is being directed by you to complete the process of connecting to their computer.

It has made my work life simpler and has created a good relationship and trust among my customers. Easy way to get access to devices remotely and get the job done!

Pros

I have been using TeamViewer for work as well as for personal use also. This has happened many times when I need access to my home desktop for some important documents from Office. Instead of going back to home, TeamViewer has helped to remotely access my PC to copy those files. Easily receive or share documents with my clients. Sometimes they might need my assistance to help them in understanding some feature and functionality about our product, with the help of TeamViewer I can quickly connect to their system and make them understand without any delays. This has created a good customer experience. It is very simple to use, you just need to install TeamViewer in your system, to get access, you simply have to share your ID and password and click Connect to the partner. It is free!

Cons

There is no viable alternative to TeamViewer, hope for further improvements.

The ability to work on a system with an end user remotely, is probably the single most important thing for any desktop support or systems administrator. Realizing the increased speed and efficiency immediately translates into additional revenue both in travel costs and man hours.

Pros

The ability to change it and deploy the portions we wanted as well as using active directory deployment were by far our favorite features.

Cons

I really cannot think of a single thing that I would rate as the least favorite part of this software.....

Overall TeamViewer is pretty great. It lets me manage my Crypto mining rigs from my phone. It also lets me help out my girlfriend technologically challenged parents who live 5 hours away with ease.

Pros

I love that there is also an Android App. Sometimes I'm not near a computer but I always have my phone with me.

Cons

I had a free account in the past and would only use it under the guidelines for a free account but I would get flagged as using it for business purposes and they kick you out of a session in under a minute if that's the case. Also hard to get them to unflag your account.

Good, I can work from work in a easy way.

Pros

I can work from home using my computer at work. It is easy to use and it has different features that I can use if I want to transfer documents from one pc to another.

Cons

That it does not save my password!! Every time I want to connect with the other computer I have to type the password. If the other computer restart the password changes and I have to call some one else to get the other computer password. That's very annoying.

Good and easy to use.

Pros

It has all that is necessary for administrator to do its job on remote destination. It uses ID and password as authentication, pretty secure. Nice user interface and ease of use.

Cons

Free for personal use, not for company use. If You have old version after i guess two years You have to upgrade, because too old and new TeamViewer are not compatible. It nags all the time for update or suspected business use if you using it as a professional.

TeamViewer helped us to promptly solve various problems that could appear on users' PCs. The most efficient thing is to be able to see live the user's desktop and remotely solve the problem, having directly control to the desktop and keyboar/mouse.

Pros

TeamViewer allows you to access and manage computers remotely with the use of an unique software installed on your pc (or even you smartphone) and your interlocutor's pc. Very easy to use, it allows you to connect to the pc and see what's happening on your desktop in real time. Also it allows you to move the mouse and type on the keyboard as if you were there, perfect for user support or for managing a remote server. Among the less mentioned features there is also the possibility to speak with the interlocutor via call or chat. Much appreciated the possibility of exchanging files and opening a "virtual" VPN between the two PCs. This program is a must for big, medium, small organizations to manage IT support and remote pc management.

Cons

Not many cons except pc to pc file transfer speed seems quite slow (slower than using external storage service or ftp systems), and in my advice not quite simple to declare the nature "no profit" of the organization if you have a no-profit organization and want to access to the free plan.

If I write about my overall experience, I would say TeamViewer is no doubt the most functional software and always proved to be helpful to me.

Pros

I like the simple interface of this product. One of the interesting features of this tool is that whenever we need to open large applications, it never get hung. I love its ease of use nature. Its most interesting features include its outstanding speed, high quality video and color quality in order to make the remote access connection perfectly. It provides us easy ways of transferring files.

Cons

There are not as such cons in this software. The only limitation with this product is that it is quite expensive but it deserves because of its excellent services. Sometimes the file transferring tool becomes a little slow but is not all time problem, it happens rarely due to error in connection. Otherwise it is a pretty good product.
