### "The best remote control tool"

It has been an essential tool, since as a remote support engineer for computer systems, I need to remotely, encrypt and securely enter the systems to perform preventive and corrective maintenance.

Pros

What I liked the most about TeamViewer is the visual stability in the remote support sessions that we carry out, as well as the possibility of controlling different types of equipment

Cons

What I liked the least about TeamViewer is the little possibility as an entrepreneur to acquire a free plan with few sessions per month or a plan with a low price.

### "The perfect tool for troubleshooting!"

With the use of this software, I was able to speed up troubleshooting on both my end, and on my co-workers' end. When I can't locate a file, or setup something wrong, I simply let my co-worker remotely use my computer and show me exactly what I did wrong, or where a file was located and how to navigate there.

Pros

TeamViewer is an essential tool for online work and everyday use. It allows you to help co-workers, employees, or even friends and family troubleshoot their problems on their computers. You can help them setup software or locate files and folders. You simply generate a temporary code in TeamViewer and share it with the person you want to give remote access too. From there, the person will be able to help you, while being able to chat together in the software!

Cons

I can't really think of any cons, this software does what it's suppose to, and does a great job of it!

I had a great experience with this software. It is user friendly and save time and money

Pros

I used Teamviewer to manipulate the laboratory computer from home. It allowed me to save travel time. It is also a great tool to help older parents, as you are able to control their computer.

Cons

There is not much information on the security vulnerability while using the software

Over the course of time, we have switched to ZOOM service because of adaptability among varied users. Our aim is to work collaboratively, but Teams defeat the purpose because it is non intutive.

Pros

It's stable, does not have much issues with losing connection when internet is unstable. Security wise, it brings the best from Microsoft compared to zoom. But the pros end here

Cons

So difficult to set up for a novice, the UI IS PATHETIC. As part of Office 365 system, it has the bugs associated with that service. The customer service is useless. Microsoft should invest in the service.

My overall experience is positive with Teamviewer. I didn't had any major issues with them so far since i started using teamviewer back in 2015. And therefor i would recommend Teamviewer to others if you are looking for a reliable and good remote access solution.

Pros

Teamviewer Is easy to use. The remote files are easy to access, as well the Teamviewer app for mobile devices. You can control the remote files easy through swiping your fingers on the screen. There are some great functionalities like disable remote user input (which will disable the remote mouse and keyboard) and disable the screen at the remote pc. Easy to drag and drop files.

Cons

What i don't like with the teamviewer app is with mobile devices like smartphones it is little hard to control the remote files with your fingers. With the tablet app version from Teamviewer there is an additional function called Touch Interactions mode. Means you interact with the remote pc using your fingers more easily as though it were a touch screen. This mode is not available on smartphones, but only on tablet devices. Which makes it harder to control the remote mouse arrow from mobile phones. I wish they could make that available for smartphones as well.

Quick and direct access, in order to solve specific problems, without the need for more profound diagnoses, with that my experience was very satisfactory, because I was always able to solve or reach the problem/goal.

Pros

There are two important points, the first is security in access, the fact that your customer has the validity of their access, is great to make you more confident in your service provided. And the second, of course, is access through mobile devices.

Cons

The amount charged for the business plan is a little high.

Overall it's been a pleasant experience thanks to our IT vendor. They have ensured that updates and fixes go through without much input from users (which is great) and they've been pretty transparent with when/how they use TeamViewer when troubleshooting.

Pros

The ease of using this software is really its stand out feature. There's little fuss in deploying to multiple computers and once a user has allowed the necessary permissions for the app to function it's just a matter of plug-and-play.

Cons

In general, I'm not a fan of any app that can run silently in the background. It does present some ethical concerns over privacy but until a better solution is available, it is what it is.

So far teamviewer has been a useful tool to have in hand. Working remotely and sharing files with colleagues has become easier to do.

Pros

Team viewer has a good look to it, you can view all important details and features from your dashboard. I can control multiple devices if I have the ID.

Cons

Teamviewer seems to require constant and uninterrupted internet connections on both devices to work well. Any network issues deny you of access to the remote device

I have been using this for over a decade, and I have tested ALL others on the market.

Pros

I support many PC's from many clients, and this software allows me to easily manage them all remotely. i can push updates, and run virus scans remotely and of course remote connect unattended, or with end user prompts.

Cons

The workings are great, very intuitive, and I do not have any downside. You pay extra for the remove virus scan ability built in, but you can still remote access and run your own antivirus packages.

I do not like the ConnectWise since it was installed internally on an available server. The TeamViewer is web based. Big win for being web based.

The tool is simply fun and easy it provides a great interface for support and final customers if they need to constantly connect with remote machines.

Pros

TeamViewer made my life really easy when working with remote equipment and it provides a great interface for helpdesk support and end-users. The facts that the session is encrypted provide great security for sensitive interactions with specialized equipment

Cons

I would like to see some interaction capabilities with the end-user if you are planning to use it for helpdesk remote session if you are an end-user you should be fine. I would like to have some more advanced features like wake on LAN

Pros

We are daily users of TeamViewer. It is extremely useful for tunneling into dedicated computers used for specific tasks in remote locations.

Cons

Like any product, there are the occasional hiccups, but most of those are out of TeamViewer's control and are caused by the remote computer's settings. Once you get everything up and running, it's very reliable.

It is a very useful program for companies that do computer hardware, repair and maintenance work. It is possible to interfere with the problematic computer from where you are sitting, without the need to rush to every caller or the customer to snatch the cash register. Of course, before doing this, it is necessary to have this program installed on the customer's computer.

Cons

Recent reports of "suspicious commercial use" and not allowing me to connect in an emergency have reduced efficiency. But it is still the best in its field.

Pros

Getting support from the IT department is very easy with Teamviewer. I have also sometimes used the applications to remote access my workstation from home in case of urgent cases during off-hours.

Cons

I have experienced no major problems with Teamviewer during the years I have been using the software. There are the occasional disconnects, but those are rare, and it's quick to reconnect again.

TeamViewer is indeed useful for collaboration projects. In particular, it excels at the developmental stages of projects as it allows you to edit, transfer, share, etc. different documents and files. Providing remote access of a laptop or computer for all the team members allows for continuous progression in your work. You can even designate a whole laptop just for team collaboration, maintaining your business involvement in a project. By far a very convenient software.

Pros

As university research, I have found TeamViewer essential for my team progress. It allows me to remotely control or share the control of various laptops to my team members from anywhere that has Internet access. This allows me to provide a real-time presentation to them but not like a webcam where you can only see the material. In fact, as I present, I can provide access for my teammates to control what is being seeing on my laptop even if they aren't physically present. Because of this, they can note certain areas that needs to be reviewed while editing certain materials themselves.

Cons

I do enjoy this software's ability to remotely control and access other computers and laptops for actions such as editing, file transfer, etc. However, I do hope some day the developers of TeamViewer provide a passcode feature on files and applications. I trust my research partners; however, I do want to keep some of my files private to myself.

I love the quick painless connectivity to my clients. It is great to be able to help them so easily from the other side of the country and sometimes, the world.

Pros

I love that I can maintain a list of computers setup with unattended access and login in whenever I need to to help my customers. The mobile app also puts TeamViewer way ahead of the other competing products I have used.

Cons

Price is inhibitive for small business. However, when compared to other similar systems, very similarly priced.

Users can make use of a variety of remote access and support choices and some of the greatest day-to-day tools required for effective collaboration, such as built-in videoconferencing, with TeamViewer. There are options to fit any budget, but regarding TeamViewer’s strength and innovative technical edge, it might be a little too good for some smaller businesses and other business ventures at large. This remote solution enables users to connect remotely to several workstations that are not all in the same location. It is suitable for online conferences and file sharing between computers. Another impressive thing is it connects instantaneously and establishes a connection once users their partner’s ID and password.

Cons

TeamViewer cannot be used for free in business settings, it does not support quick file transfers, it cannot upload or download huge files over the internet, and it does not support high-resolution screens in full screen mode. Also, just like any other technology tool, it will need to improve with time to meet market demands. The software can always improve the response time.

Difficult to know which of their products apply to what solutions until you talk to TeamViewer customer service to discuss their usage. Otherwise, managing systems are pretty straightforward and connecting is relatively easy.

Pros

How easy it is to give customers a small file they can execute to allow me to view their system without having to go through more cumbersome solutions to share screens.

Cons

It's not intuitive about how remote systems are isolated from the account that is used to log in for managing the system. If a user gets on the remote machine via other means, creating an outbound connection to one of the other machines on TeamViewer is possible.

Overall I love TeamViewer, whether I'm traveling for work, or forgot to send something from home, I can still access all files from anywhere in the world.

Pros

TeamVeiwer has helped me in a pinch, when I forget to send something from my home computer to my work desktop. I just hop on and send to myself like I was in both places at once. This has saved me hours, multiple times, by making login in and accessing remote desktops a breeze.

Cons

Some times the cursor can be laggy when on a mobile device on Remote Desktop. Causing mis-clicks but a simple reboot usually fixes it!
