Our team members keep traveling a lot due to work and this tool has become an ease for them to share their screens via remote access. With the help of TeamViewer, the team members are able to access PCs of each other through remote access and are able to solve each other's queries and issues. This is a great software which can be used with great ease. Only we have to do is all team members have to install the software and just share the password with the one to whom you want to give remote access to your PC. For example, the team members working on same presentation are able to see the content and give suggestions to each other. This software has also been helpful to our IT person who is able to take remote access of our PC and solve the problems that we are having sometimes related to files and folders or other softwares. The main benefit is that we can access each other's PCs from different locations. Superb software, love it!! Cons The software is good but sometimes it gets automatically disconnected. It is fairly priced, easy to install and use. The product is fast, and secure. I trust the security of the product and it has always been completely reliable. I also love that I have NEVER had to contact support as I have never had any issues. Great reliable product. Pros I love that it is a safe, trustworthy and dependable product. I believe it is worth every penny spent on it, and appreciate that it is used by larger companies who also trust their businesses with TeamViewer. Cons I really have nothing to say I like least about the product. I suppose perhaps that it is not free, however I do understand there must be a charge associated with a product this fast, effective, and ad free. Also, It has multiple uses, it is not only perfect to establish a remote connection, but it is also suitable to provide training and conduct meetings. October 7, 2020 5.0 My experience with TeamViewer had been so good, it had been years of using it and no complains at all. most of the time i had only experience the remote access. Pros The feature that I use the most from TeamViewer is the remote access, when I'm at work and its a Friday and it's decided that an environment deployment is required, I execute the deployment from the office (as it might take a couple of minutes) and I go home and access from my personal laptop the office laptop using Team Viewer allowing me to check the deployment status and even test the result. It's so awesome how I can access everything still been kilometers away. Cons One feature that has some issues sometimes, its when I'm trying to access to a laptop connected to a VPN, that I'm encountering some problems with TeamViewer. Now we only find it in random customers, as what feels like a legacy remote access tool. Pros TeamViewer seems as old as remote support itself, it has always been there during my professional life in IT support, and it gained a lot of market share because it was one of the best remote access tools, with a $0 cost of entry for most users, which once used to it, would result in sales to larger customers. It was easy to setup, no cost of entry, and did the core functions well. Cons Over the years they started to get a reputation for predatory sales practices, and in my opinion, they lost an opportunity to evolve into something akin to SCCM or an MSP's main partner. We no longer renewed it and opted for Datto RMM for our MSP practices on smaller customers, and our largest customers also opted for other tools themselves. Review Source AL Aaron L. Pros Literally can be installed on any Windows machine, settings can be customized and cloned several different ways. If you don't know the ID and cant get it from the user, you can remote registry into the machine and pull out the ID. Cons The android version acts like the free version and has no place to register it, input a product key, or buy the full version. I like that the remote desktop functionality is streamlined, secure and offers an easy-to-use interface for beginners. I also did not need to learn any complicated processes or methods to get it to work. Their help system is great as well. Pros I love the fact that I can capture my meetings, with all the screen changes etc. These video recordings are available very quickly after the meeting has ended. I have used this facility multiple times to record training videos. Cons I am not a big fan of Microsoft Products, but this one is FANTASTIC. There is nothing I do not like. By using this Team viewer software, each user (like me) who is generally an employee of a company can connect with each other more easily and further enhance cooperation between users. It only requires an internet connection and the ID of the Team viewer user so the connection can be made. Its easy to use. Pros This software allows me to allow computer users (me) to control or take control of other computers (colleagues) and of course each of them must have activated their Team viewer. I can transfer files without having to use a hard disk or flash drive, with Team viewer software, meetings can still be held without having to leave each other's computers. There is a feature to invite approximately 20 other Team viewer clients or users Cons Besides being very easy to use, this software also has risks, which is because all PC activities can be monitored by other people. It's great for turning on and running the user's PC even if it's not in front of the user's PC or for good conditions on the remote control of them.
