It's such a helpful application to be used nowadays. It's simple and fast. Almost perfect.

Pros

The speed of the video delivery from one and another, the switch feature from "allowed" or "not allowed" from the side of reviewed. It's really sensitive if there is a moment when someone we don't know doing something that we don't want. I hope that there is a more clear explanation to the users about how to "disable" the partner that doing teamviewer on the host device. Other than that, it's a really superb platform. Kudos.

Cons

The button, it's too small to be seen for my parents, one of my parent need a larger customization i guess so they can easily to click every button on the lower right side.

Pros

Essential for technical support. Easy to use and install on client computers. Immediate configuration, no need for firewalls or port opening. Supports computers and mobile devices.

Cons

Limited use for personal use. If you need daily and longer support, you need a licence which is more expensive than its competitors.

### "A peice of software that you can always rely on"

The company that I freelance for, has many freelancers spread all over the country and world. Without the ability to access and help them, my job would be almost impossible.

Pros

It is quite secure. I use it manly with an account with multiple remote computers in my account, but to access them there is first the account and then the pin for each computer. Secondly it is one of the only remote control programs that allows the remote person to allow a windows security check. It can handle when windows asks if you want to let a program run, whereas when this happens with chrome remote desktop the remote person gets a blank screen. As an IT tech, this is a very helpful feature.

Cons

The pricing is a little high, but its understandable when the program is one of the few items of its kind that does what it sets out to do so well.

### "TeamViewer for the win"

Pros

TeamViewer is not a regular remote connection desktop service it is much more than that. It allows you to transfer files to other machines. When I face technical issues in my computer IT department logs into my computer using TeamViewer and sort it out quickly.

Cons

There is nothing bad I have to say about this software. The only concern is it requires a string internet connection in order to have a good remote connection between devices.

It has only become more necessary for everyone since the advent of the pandemic. Employees can get into their work machines from home and not contaminate work files with problems and downloads on their personal devices.

Pros

The ease with which the program can be set up on the computer of someone with zero tech skills has made it vital in every position I've had for years. The account set up is simple. It's secure.

Cons

The only issue is that they give broad "free for personal use" license that people take advantage of, especially considering that when you need it in a pinch the value is near enough priceless.

Its cross platform accessibility allows us to connect PC from PC, PC from mobile, Mobile from PC and Mobile from Mobile devices 2. Can access point of sale, public display devices, servers in a secured way. 3. Allows screen sharing even through mobile devices. Can share, transfer and even print documents remotely. 4. Offers additional features such as reporting management, service ticket management, user and device management, etc to Business users. 5. Can record videos of online meetings and collaborative works and share securely with others. Offers multi language support as well

Cons

1\. Expensive software for small and medium scale businesses. 2. Customer support is not very responsive. 3. File transfers happen at a slow pace and could be needing high speed internet bandwidth.

You can work with multiple systems. The application is rich in features. You can conduct remote presentations, video conferences, chats incorporating screen sharing and whiteboard tools at a great speed. The service desk integration helps users in the management of their tickets. You can control the remote system and its printers from your mobile. The user interface is very compact and organized. Allows creation of demonstrations and provide interactive training to your team members. You also can check and monitor the health of your machine. The installation and linking process is very simple. It is compatible with almost all devices.

Cons

The team viewer client wouldn't start at times. Default printing options are absent. You can’t import bulk files. The customer service takes quite a lot of time to answer queries.

Some time it's hang and then we need to disconnect and then connect to resolve the problem. If it can run to less bandwidth then it's help to lots of users where the internet connection is very less.

Whether using it for simple remote support, or for more complicated requirements, there is a wide array of features to assist you doing whatever you need to do.

Cons

Limited support on remote monitor resolution changing, which can often lead to having a small window on screen surrounded by a lot of black for servers and such with a 800x600 monitor attached.

Bad. I am not going to renew when the time comes and I’ll switch to something else.

Pros

Enables me to connect to my office computer

Cons

Expensive. Difficult to use. My whole team has now gone to Google Remote - it’s free and works without all the hassle of TeamViewer. Yesterday, tried to figure out how to add another user to my business (paid) account - never could find that.

I've used it on many levels from as basic as helping my 85-year old mother who can't figure out something on her computer to using it at a business level with software that I have experience with and others may not! And, from the other side, I've had technicians able to come onto my screen and figure out issues I was having trouble with. I've always used it from more of a tech-support standpoint even thought it allows for so many other features!

Pros

The software is secure as you have to get a code from the 2nd party before accessing their screen. Once the session has ended you need a new code before you have the ability to access someone's screen another time. Oftentimes it's hard to explain to someone how to solve a software issue they are having via phone and being able to go onto the computer remotely saves so much time and expense! And I've had technicians be able to access my screen as well and save an expensive tech service call!

Cons

I don't see any negatives! I've always had a lot of success with the software.

Pros

I really like team viewer because I can work even at home via remote as an IT person. Also I can monitor the health status of my servers and it will also notify me if the connection has a problem or not by accessing it.

Cons

Before, the free version can be used without any time limit and only ads displayed but it's okay for us because the most important is to assist our client.

I have only used TeamViewer in regards to needing IT support to fix computer problems while working at a remote location from my main company. For that purpose it was immensely helpful, to not have to call out a computer worker to fix something which was accessible via TeamViewer. However I now feel as though I could have used this program similarly to Google Docs when sharing and editing documents and projects with other people as well.

Pros

This program was pretty much our go to for solving computer problems while working remotely and not able to have an IT person come up to our office. It was quick and easy, but also secure and I didn't feel as though I was giving access to the entire universe when the other person was getting into my computer remotely.

Cons

I think it would be helpful for TeamViewer to have its own internal chatting system, unless it already does, or unless it has the feature available and we were never able to use it or access it in my company. We always had to connect through Skype or phones which sometimes worked out okay, but it would make sense to have a system that also works internally within the program. It would also be nice if there is a function to have independent use of the mouse. I know that it makes sense to really only have one cursor so that the control is with whoever is using it, but it would be interesting to be able to have someone remotely using your computer while you use it at the same time on a second monitor for instance. That would have been helpful so that I could continue my own work while the IT people were fixing things on the main computer screen.

Its a nice tool for Remote controlling desktop session from PC and mobile phone

Pros

The ease of control of the remote Desktop session is what is the USP of the software. And the various options to view the exact user operations along with the remote mouse movements make it easy to visualize the user operations

Cons

The file transfer option using the Mobile app was not the best and intuitive feature that I explored. It showed the the option of selecting the source file and then the folder option on the phone where it need to be dropped, but never activated the folder selection button

Not a bad experience. When the product works we are able to move forward properly.

Pros

There seems to be more of an accountability aspect when trying to share screens. Have the other user read you a code and username makes sure you are connecting to the correct user and none else can interfere. Pretty user friendly as well when connected.

Cons

The walk through to get customers set up to start the screen sharing. We integrated teamviewer into our software in our help file to have quick access to the download link. This can be challenging sometimes if users are not tech savy which delays the download process.
