Teamviewer has a very good reputation, it is one of the best tools on the market, with regard to remote assistance.

Pros

The ease in connecting to any desktop device around the world and being able to move without delays or crashes.

Cons

While it is understood that every SME should have an excellent internet connection, Teamviewer online is not satisfied with this, as it also requires very good bandwidth so you can work smoothly and without interruptions.

Pros

If you are lazy and don't want to come to the office, but all your files and necessary programs are on the office's computer, use TeamViewer. It allows you to connect to another computer under your same account, or if you have the ID and password provided for that computer. It helps a lot if you own several computers and have your files scattered across them. Also helps if you run into some problem on your computer and have to ask a friend for help.

Cons

Generally the other computer has to be on in order for you to use TeamViewer to access it. There is an option that you can 'wake up' a computer that is sleeping through TeamViewer but it is rather complicated and hard to do. It is a bit inconvenient and a waste of energy to keep a computer constantly on - and so in certain cases TeamViewer won't work

Remote control for free! Rellay nice.

Pros

I use TeamViewer often and it is certainly one of the best free software by which you can remotely control your computers. This allows you to work on clients remotely without having to move from the office or your workstation. It does not require any particular skill to use it, the use is simple and immediate. The remote computer will need to enter an ID and password. Available for Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS and Windows Mobile.

Cons

To use it is necessary interaction with the user on the other side of the PC (so it must be present in front of the remote PC) To work well you need a good network connection to avoid delays during operations, with a bad connection sometimes it is even difficult to follow the mouse pointer.

The ease of access of my computers at home and at the office when I need to check on something or run something while I am out. You can also transfer files which is great if I needed something to get instead of running over there to copy it. Very useful software.

Cons

It does tag you most of the time that you are using it commercially even though you are not. I wish they have better detection on how they tag users of such.

Pros

This is the best tool to support to customer via accessing their system thru internet with lots of option like get machine access and online file transfer to customer etc. You can simply online enter to customer site and resolved all the issues, query they require support.

Cons

On low bandwidth there is an issue to use this software as not able to connect the machine properly.

Pros

TeamViewer has been a lifesaver to provide support or even simply remote into user's computer to perform general software maintenance. Very easy to use.

Cons

Nothing really has been an issue with TeamViewer. It does what's its supposed to do, even when an user needs to "install" the QuickSupport version.

Really gave us an easy way to remote into other computers with minimal intervention from the user, if any.

Pros

I loved being able to save connections to my favorites with the password and then being able to see in my list who was logged on and who wasn't.

Cons

If I didn't know the TV ID, I wish there was an easier way to have the user find out. If they "opened" TV, a lot of the time it would say TV was already running and never gave them the number.

during the covid situation, we use teamviewer alot, we try to use free software but it doesn't work at all, so we use teamviewer, its secure and can remote to various user in the team, as they have different internet connection some slow some fast, but thank teamviewer can adapt with all the situation.

Pros

its very powerful tool if compare with other, event slow internet its can adapt well with the resolution of screen remote on both side, also another best function is administrator access request it work properly and cross devices.

Pros

Super easy to use. Easy to walk through installing for the end user, so that you then connect with them. LOVE the ability to record sessions. and love the hosted connection functionality.

Cons

Only thing I can think of is impact when software is down. Which is sometimes unavoidable. We just rely on TeamViewer heavily, so when its down we are a bit stuck. but it happens infrequently and is usually resolved pretty quickly.

Pros

Teamviewer is very easy to use. Specifically, it's very easy to get connected to your customers desktops to provide them assistance. For small businesses it's a good balance of ease of use and security for remote desktop connections.

Cons

A little hesitant on their move to a subscription based business model.

Pros

It used to be a good way to access my desktop computer at home while I was on a trip or on a walk.

Cons

The free version promises unrestricted access as long as the software is not used for commercial purposes. Every several months, Teamviewer used to think that me accessing my computer from my phone constituted commercial activity and would kill the connection after 5 seconds—unless I had a paid license. If you don't want people to use your software for free, that's perfectly fine. Lying that you have a free version and not letting people take advantage of it is not OK. Switched to a competitor software last year—and never looked back ever since.

The product is the ultimate remote access/control tool. It is amazing what one can do while still miles away.

Pros

I have used it to assist customers remotely who are very busy through-out the day and usually close their offices at 5pm so the only viable time would be night time and Team viewer allowed me to do just that with a couple of useful settings like AutoStart after reboot and connect automatically when I initiate a request from my ID.

Cons

The product is a bit heavy on the PC making it sluggish

Thanks to this software, I find it helpful because of the remote support facility, I no longer need to invite technicians to come here. Just communicate by phone and open Team Viewer, everything can be resolved. This means it can save costs for services and other costs. Apart from that, I might give a little tip as a thank you to him he has helped solve the problem.

Pros

I feel very grateful to know this application, it helps me handle a job when there are some obstacles. One time when I was being chased by a prepress job deadline, suddenly the prepress machine had problems, panic, and anxiety because of a precast job made me take the initiative to contact a technician who was out of town. Coincidentally we bought prepress machines from out of town with a full support technician warranty. Finally, I contacted them by phone and continued to be guided using Team Viewer. This software is quite stable as long as the internet connection is smooth. And finally, they transferred some Modules via Team Viewer and did some repairs, all issues got resolved. It is very helpful to use Team Viewer because the basis of this application can support all OS, both Windows, and Mac.

Cons

All of that is relative if personally, sometimes I feel a little stuck when the internet network is dropping as a result the connection is unstable and loading takes longer.

Pros

The fact that they offer the software free for the average end user says a great deal about the company that makes TeamViewer. And the price for corporate licenses is very reasonable at the same time. I have never had any issues with the software and it always does exactly what it's intended to do.

Cons

Nothing at all. I honestly can't think of one negative thing.

My overall experience with TeamViewer has been great. When I was first introduced to this software, I was so excited to have this access to my office of my part-time job when I lived 5 hours away. Trainings and meetings were very difficult when just simply speaking over the phone but when we began using TeamViewer, it made the entire process so much more effective and easy.

Pros

What I liked most about this software was that I was able to work 5 hours away, remotely, from my official job location while being able to be visually trained on new projects or updates. TeamViewer allowed me, and my supervisor, to work together over the phone while also watching the steps on the screen as my supervisor showed me new processes. It allows for a more hands-on experience for remote employees. I also enjoyed being able to show issues to technical support, without being able to actually meet with them face-to-face. I am able to show issues that pop-up with giving access to the support team(s) to my screens to see exactly what I am seeing.

Cons

I feel like there is often a lag between granting access to your screen and the other individual actually having access to your screens. Though it was slightly an inconvenience, it does not at all affect my overall love of TeamViewer.

Pros

\- Works on just about any platform - Fast - Multi-use (support, remote access, etc) - Latest versions are super stable and just plain work

Cons

In a word: Price. There is a free version for non-commercial users, which is great, but if need it for business, prepare to spend a pretty penny. If price is a factor for you, I would suggest comparing it to Splashtop

Pros

Great for fast access with clients. Well known product so it is more than likely that they already use this. Comment feature is great for leaving notes when you're unable to get hold of the customer.

Cons

Annoying when you're asking a user to download your quick support tool and they already have it open and it doesn't override.

We use to support our employees remotely using TeamViewer. They can share their computer screen and we can work together with them, chat&video with them, record a session while providing training for them, etc.

Pros

Safe connectivity to the remote computers with full control over the user device. Speed and performance are the same as we are in front of the PC. We can bookmark all your remote PC connections and manage them in separate groups and view the status of the machines from a side window. The file-sharing feature is good. We can safely and securely send any files to the other remote PC. Free for personal use.

Cons

The license is expensive when compared to others. The connectivity may lag if the client is using an updated one.

1/ Very User friendly interface and very easy to understand even for the first timers 2/ remotely File Sharing feature is awesome 3/ Works like a gem on all the operating system platforms 4/ lets you view dual monitor on your laptop with so much ease 5/ Takes up very very minimum of your disk space 6/ Lets you adjust resolution as per your internet speed connectivity 7/ Works smoothly with low internet bandwidth doesn't lag much

Cons

Fixing issues in the most agile manner, other methods may be inefficient as they might be too slow and will miss a quick reaction.

Pros

When instructions are not enough, TeamViewer comes to the rescue. Being able to connect to another person’s computer remotely to troubleshoot it is ideal when you need to move quick to get things rolling.

Cons

You need a paid version if you use it on a daily basis, however it is not much and it is definitely worth it.
