### "Remote tech support - the easiest way to go about it"

I've had a brilliant experience with TeamViewer both at personal and work level where I've used the software to help the less techy family members and also used it to take control of clients' computers to guide them through complicated interfaces, really quickly!

Pros

On a personal level, I use this software to help out senior family members when I'm not around at home and they're stuck with something. It's really easy, non-intrusive and doesn't need the "non-techy" user to make an account, or do anything complicated. It's a well-thought out and 100% functional software that fulfils the purpose in the best way possible. On the business end, I use this to help clients add their credit card payment details on online portals for social media marketing, as they are not familiar with the interface. My team members helps the client by remotely accessing their computer and the only inputs needed from the client are to punch in their card details. It maintains their security and I don't have to send a tech guy all the way to their office!

Cons

I really have nothing negative to say about this software. It's really well thought out and leaves no loop holes.

the most of it is when we use our system and we found any errors or delay we can on the spot call our technical team and they share screen and solve it ASAP , and is help us in our work as in my job time is very important

the most thing is you can do screen sharing on 2 or 3 devices in the same time and this befit help us to save our time

maybe we need more capacity to transfer files , i think we need more than 300 Mb

This software has plenty of advantage, remote connection is one of this that , i can easily transfer files, my information, I can easily work to another computer throw my devise. Cons

Need more upgradation cause this software has higher demand on market, need to do more user friendly.

Well, It has helped me a lot during lockdown period. I use to remote access my office computer from home using team viewer and get my work done. Also, sometimes when I am on holidays I access my Office computer using this great app and get my work done.

Pros

I have been using team viewer for more than five years and it has helped me quite a bit. I can access my office computer from my home using team viewer. Especially, due to lockdown I had to work from home and I used to access my office computer using TeamViewer. It has all the functionality required to remote access your computer and the best thing about it is that it is free.

Cons

According to me, there is nothing much to dislike about this software. One thing I would like to mention is that sometimes due to low internet speed it gets disconnected.

Straight forward to set-up and easy to use and interact with users when neccecary

Cons

cost is high, and package options are not cheap for a small business

Reason for choosing TeamViewer ONE

Remote admin needed too much config and AnyDesk wasn't stable enough at the time, they have since improved at lot and offer multiple screen options now

Easy and efficient access to files stored in computers that are not locally available, as well as to provide online support to other people experiencing PC issues.

Pros

TeamViewer is a great software for quick access of any file that I did not save on the cloud and desperately need. I usually use it to manage my home computer when I am out (and when It is turned on, obviously). Furthermore, being an experienced user, occasionally I use it to help family and friends with PC issues that I am able to solve. I migrated to TeamViewer from LogMeIn Free, and I am completely comfortable and satisfied with it! The developers' policy about the free version of the software are very smart and generous. Based on it, I believe that most people that do use it for commercial purposes indeed invest in a paid license, as it worth each penny.

Cons

The nag screens on the free version sometimes bothers me, but I know that it is a minor issue for such a great software offered for free for non-commercial purposes. It is the way that developers found to sensibilize people about their need to make the software profitable to support their business and for further software improvement .

Even though it's outdated, it's still a solid remote access tool for technicians and the user's who always want to be connected.

Pros

Great remote access software, you can easily get in and out of user's computer doing remote support. Various OS supported, even I was surprised.

Cons

They haven't really change the software interface that much. Old design but it does do the job. If at one time it fails, the second time around it works.

Overall I love and appreciate Team Viewer! It has made my life so much easier. I do a lot of tech support with my job and there is nothing more frustrating than not being able to actually see what the other person is explaining their computer is "doing/showing" Team view allows me to access and control my team's members computers with their permission, and while they are watching. Which makes it a great real-time training tool!

Pros

I love being able to access or have my computer accessed remotely in real-time. This is a dream come true for remote training purposes. I love how it is user-friendly and easy to access for both users.

Cons

At times I have experienced there can be a slight lag time.

Overall, my experience with TeamViewer has been great. I have had a few hiccups with remote PC passwords and a few issues with older versions but those have been few and far between.

Pros

I love TeamViewer for accessing remote computers. As the IT support person for a company that has sites throughout the United States, the majority of the 100+ employees are not located at the site where I am normally located. TeamViewer allows me to perform troubleshooting, repair, and general maintenance without physically being on-site. Having a chat feature included, so I can communicate with the remote user, is a big plus for TeamViewer.

Cons

My biggest complaint, and not a big deal typically, is the need for a password to remotely access a PC. While I have tried to setup all of the company's PCs with a default access password and link them to our account, there are a few that I have missed. If I don't have the password, or if the remote computer has rebooted and password has changed, I can't access the remote PC without someone being on the other end.

My overall experience has been a positive one, I use teamviewer on a weekly basis for a wide array of tasks and it's always super simple

Pros

Teamviewer is a great piece of software if you need to access a computer in a remote location, even if it's just upstairs and you don't want to walk up there. It makes you feel as if you are sitting infront of the computer you are connected to and gives you pretty much full access to it. It's also very useful if you have family members who aren't the most tech savvy and need you to sort their computer from time to time, you can just connect remotely and sort out whatever issue they are having.

Cons

There is little to nothing that I don't like about teamviewer. The only issue I can think of is that there's several small features of their software that don't work as intended.

Personally, this software has helped me above all to provide help towards new income at the business level. It is very easy to use, and at the same time intuitive from the installation to make a video conference. What I could say that has particularly harmed me in some cases, is the internet. If I do not have a good internet connection, it could take hours to give help. Of the rest I love this product.

Pros

As new versions come out the software becomes lighter, faster and better optimized. It allows to make meetings online, videoconferences and file transfer between computers. In case you have to provide support, this application allows immediate assistance to customers, colleagues and friends. No assistance is necessary to install the software.

Cons

You must have a very good internet connection to enjoy the remote connection without problem, but it becomes cumbersome work because it takes to load. Licenses a bit difficult to get to update the program and have the full package. It does not allow access to unknown users.

It's really easy to deploy. It's simple to set-up for even the most unexperienced users. Teamviewers ability to remember previously connected devices saves a lot of time.

Pros

For technical support, you don't have to explain your problem to someone and spend hours for a solution. Just hand over your screen to the expert on the teamviewer and see how it is solved easily. Also it has an easy setup.

Cons

Sometimes you get disconnected on a remote session and you have to wait to connect again. And ı think it's expensive

Cons

The subscription fee is very high and not affordable for small companies. Their support is quite slow.

Pros

Allows for remote Support or connection allowing someone else to use your computer thereby saving them and you the cost of the trip to be onsite. Has many options that are not always apparent to allow others to log in remotely with out your explicit consent. While this is actually a feature of the software and promoted as such it's never sat right with me for use on any computer that isn't made for a specific kind of use. While this software is the go to application for a reason the need to actually use it i fand can just as easily be accomplished by something like Google Hangouts or Skype with your desktop being displayed. Very useful for onsite service situations where an engineer needs to connect and help to which ever machine or network in question, but for personal use it's simply not built for this and thus leaves to many open ended questions

Cons

Has many default settings which i found to not put my security and informations privacy as a top priority.

Pros

I have been using Team viewer for close to 5 years now which has been a very helpful tool for me and the various organizations I have worked. The user interface of the application is easy to understand without struggles. The fact that it works with any OS makes it a convenient tool to make use of. The application is available for both android and IOS users which makes collaboration easy. I have used Team viewer to do amazing things right from system control to installation of programs without me being in that location. The accessibility management feature makes it easy to manage user logs for privacy. It's a cost saving application that has helped me personally and my organization at large in saving cost and still deliver in performance

Cons

Both the client and administrator must be on the same versions for connection to be established. The trailer version is restricted, so you would be unable to use all the features that are available. Your internet experience needs to be great when make use of the application.

It helps my company's technical team to solve any system issue remotely and swiftly. it does not require a high internet speed, it works perfectly on slow internet speed. it is compatible with throughout all operating systems and in a wide range of devices. it has a simplified user interface too. so the best option in the kind of work

Cons

Sometimes it has a connection problem even if a sound internet is available, and makes us unable to connect remotely. The user interface is easy for educated and professional but layman finds difficult to operate, so developers need to make it easier

Assisting end users. The greatest part is this with the unattended access. I use it also from my android phone if required to connect to my home PC.

Pros

Amazingly simple Many features Free for personal use Option to add multiple clients Allows unattended access Mobile version

Cons

They could add personal license. Let's say if you are a freelancer or a part of very small organization, but you need to connect to a "client" that is in big enterprise network with TeamViewer business license you will get disconnected every minute, and and after few attempts you wont be able to connect anymore. You need to buy a professional license which is completely fine, BUT it is so expensive that if you are a freelancer it is almost impossible to afford it. It charges you over 330 euros for a year. And there is no way around that.
