A freak power surge happened during the holidays that affected two server drives, which are physically firewalled from online access. TeamViewer worked perfectly in conjunction with our internal "remote view" hardware so that our Vendor support staff could remotely "direct" the server rebuild effort. TeamViewer was a lifesaver!

Pros

This software does exactly what the name implies. TeamViewer is also generous in the features allowed in the free "limited" version. This is an elegant software, especially when the chips are down and you need to accomplish down-and-dirty solutions quickly. I appreciate that the creators have not changed the "basic use" features, at least during the time frame I have used it. This simple but solid software comes from what I consider a trustworthy vendor. At the risk of being "wordy", I would describe it as "pristine".

Cons

For the price, and for the sufficiently functional features included in the free version, I can't think of a single negative. This is simply a great product, and is used and recommended by a global vendor that we work with regularly.

The user interface was initially more appealing, and the window hiding/minimizing functions were much not fancy and therefore unfamiliar. Predictability is a huge plus when you are dealing with unfamiliar scenarios.

We use the software to resolve the technical issues at the client side which makes it easier for us to resolve issues without any hassle. We can help in guiding our customers with this application. Also if we want to give training on particular desktop, TeamViewer comes as a useful tool.

Pros

The quality with which we access the desktop connection makes it easy for us to resolve issues where ever we are. This software comes without licence which makes it approachable to all. We can authenticate the remote desktop easily. Also we can transfer files, chat with another person on the other side of the team viewer. There is an option to connect from web, mobile and desktop application. This software also helps in the case when we are have to provide technical support to the customer.

Cons

The version need to match if we want to take remote desktop connection else it will not allow the user to connect. We can not transfer large file with team viewer. the limitation with this software is that TeamViewer suspect that we are using this software commercially so it does not connect after the warning message.

This is my daily program for connecting to my home laptop. Transferring files between the two computers is simple, as is setting up multiple computers to switch between controlling. I switch between using this on my computer, and Chrome Remote Desktop when controlling from my Android (TeamViewer is slightly more clunky to use on Android).

Times out after a period of inactivity; occasionally slow to use

Overall I am happy with this software. It's a vital tool to have in business, because we all get stuck sometimes, so by making this even easier to use where it's easily usable to all without any handbrakes (having to pay to get this functionality). Rather make it free for everyone for all the functionality and have advertisements pay instead. You'd be the authority on this technology as most people know the name TeamViewer over any other one.

Pros

That you can get help right away by someone connecting remotely and showing you in front of your own eyes how to do it.

Cons

I had problems once where I gave my login details to the person helping and it kept showing alphanumeric instead of numeric so it wasn't able to work. Only after some time after retrying it would it show the numeric numbers that I could then tell the person helping. He'd put that in and then it worked.

The overall experience with TeamViewer is good. We would struggle as an IT department without it.

Pros

The remote control feature is second to none. Allows my team to easily connect to any device and support the end user without the need to explain technical diagnostic steps to the user.

Cons

The product is very expensive. The standard license is not enough to remote control tablet devices. An add on license is needed brining the price to a point that is tough to justify in my budget.

Pros

With this PPP I support my clients, they sometimes do not have the computer skills or knowledge, but with this application, I have access to their computers, of course with the permission they give me when providing the password that the program gives, so I don't have to go to their offices to do something simple. I also use it to access the servers I have in the office, they are only CPU's without monitor or keyboard or mouse, I enter with Team Viewer and everything is ready!

Cons

LAG, LAG, always the LAG, if the clients' connection is not fast we have LAG... . . Of course it's a minor problem for this application, I fully understand the bandwidth usage as we are looking at the other person's full screen. I like the application and this is not a handicap.

Pros

A tool that I have been using for quite some time and that can not be missing in all my computers, because through this software I can access my computers from wherever I want and especially when performing maintenance of my equipment I should not wait for a visit from a technician, but I give access to my computer through a code and this performs repairs and maintenance of my equipment. It is irreplaceable.

Cons

Nothing negative that I can point out, is simply one of my reliable tools and that can never be missing among my widgets.

more options for the free version also a cheaper version for small businesses say like 5.99 a month for 2 operators and as many connects as needed.

Blizz has changed our experience of meetings, remote collaboration, technical and customer support. Overall, its a great solution!

Pros

1\. My team relies on Blizz by TeamViewer for video conferencing and remote support solutions mainly because of its ease of use and multi-platform support on PC and mobile. 2. The audio and video quality remain stable under varying internet speeds; this way, our field technicians can collaboratively tackle problems even when in remote areas. 3. The session recording feature comes in handy when I need to review the details of a meeting; it also cancels out the need of taking notes during meeting 4. The user interface is quite easy to navigate; everyone gets used to it almost immediately. 5. The web version of Blizz makes it easy to deal with the sense of urgency that comes with some video conferencing sessions. Especially when a colleague has to join a meeting from another person's device (e.g. at a cafe). 6. The PC and mobile apps are lightweight and easy to install. 7. The selective mute/unmute feature makes it easy to tune out distractions from other participants when one presenter is speaking.

Cons

Sometimes, I have to manually activate the camera feature on the mobile app after a reconnection but this does not affect the audio. Older browsers have a difficult time using the web client, so you have to update your browser to the newest version if possible.

I can connect to other computers on the network after hours with previously assigned passwords or anytime that someone contacts me with and issue. As well as remote restarts, conferencing, and file uploads and downloads from one to the other. This is a very useful piece of software to have.

sometimes even with a high speed connection it can be a bit laggy

It has certainly been a great remote assistant for support and other actions. Sharing screens with this system is extremely quick and easy, plus getting this software and configuring it is simple. Being able to share files and information from computer to computer simultaneously is very useful.

Cons

Honestly there are more advantages than disadvantages, which are small things or details that all kinds of software can experience as a little slow from time to time in demanding tasks, but overall it is a great help.

Pros

Hands down the best VPN style product I've used. It's extremely user friendly and intuitive. In short, gives you the ability to take your desktop with you anywhere you go.

Cons

System restarts can be an issue with your desktop. Upon restarting, you may not be able to gain access. Something to keep in mind with how your desktop schedule works.
