It is 100% recommended to others. Everybody should take trial of it. Pros Team viewer is a great tool that can be installed very simply. I like its simple layout the most. It is indeed the most efficient and quick remote desktop. Another biggest advantage is that it can be set up quickly. In my opinion it is the excellent platform that facilitates us in managing machines even remotely. This is surely the biggest advantage in terms of making our work extremely easy. It has made transferring of files super easy. Cons I have been using this tool for many years. It is extremely easy to use. I've been answered several times through him at different companies where there were no technicians on site, and honestly I don't remember not having my problem solved 100% of the time. I am convinced that TeamViewer was essential on these occasions. Cons On negative points about this software, I do not know exactly what to say. I believe the only situations where it becomes inefficient are in cases where you do not have internet access or where there are problems that prevent you from accessing the application. Using the application does not require one to have and in depth IT background, because the process is simple and straight forward. TeamViewer is compatible with almost all operating systems and works with the same efficiency across different platforms. It has free version which works perfectly without hidden costs. They won't ask you for payment methods to use the application. It is safe to use because two individuals must intentionally exchange codes  for the two computers to be connected. If left inactive for a lengthy period for sometime, TeamViewer shuts off and requires password again to login. For a task that requires restarting a machine, TeamViewer is capable of running at computer startup and keep running in the background. Cons Most keyboard shortcuts don't work when controlling one PC from another PC. Using onscreen keyboard works, but a feeling of using it is far different from using physical keyboard. October 7, 2018 5.0 Pros I am a systems administrator who works on all the platforms. I set up remote installations in various locations around every part of the world. Without teamviewer I can't imagine how I can do all these. I can login to Windows PC and can access a remote Linux PC somewhere in the other part of the world and install complicates tasks like server installations etc.. Some of our database centers are in Europe and I have to do at least 5 installations remotely everyday and I reply on TeamViewer for all this. I have a 50mbps internet connection and so everything works perfectly at this speed. Cons Nothing as of now to say as a con about TeamViewer. There is not even a single alternate app that does 50% of what TeamViewer does for last 6 years.
