Pros

Ability to have interaction with teams on a single machine is a feature to highlight. Allows copying files from one machine to another makes SCP command go away.

Cons

Once the teamviewer is closed, it shows the teamviewer window in the screen. That covers a small area of the visible screen. Which makes another physical interaction to close the message window.

Teamviewer to me is the top meeting solution for remote support with my clients, and it's also very easy to get them connected. Online meetings and remote access enables me to connect to clients and stream live from wherever they are having their Wedding Celebrations. I would also like to mention that not once have I ever lost a connection during a wedding, unless it had something to do with my ISP. TeamViewer is Amazing and Constant.

Pros

TeamViewer has many Amazing Features, but for me it was and still is the ability to assist my clients with setting up their PCs for Live Streaming of their weddings. I was introduced to TeamViewer in 2020 and since then have been using the software for all my online weddings.

Cons

I did notice that it uses somewhat data, but if like me you are using uncapped high speed internet then that is not a problem at all.

I really enjoy using TeamViewer and I believe it's extremely beneficial in the work place because it allows others to remote into your computer and resolve issues for you.

Pros

I believe TeamViewer is a must use software in the work place. I've come across several issues with the network or just general questions where I was able to connect to TeamViewer and have the problems fixed for me. It is also nice to be able to physically see what the IT team is doing so if this is a reoccurring issue an individual can follow along the process and understand what went wrong. I use TeamViewer not only for work but also at home.

Cons

I don't really have much for CONS for this software, other than on rare occasions it will freeze up when someone is connected in and working on my computer.

I use this software all the time to access my computers at home and in the office from wherever I may be. It's always simple and easy to use.

Pros

TeamViewer has tools designed to make it very easy to control another computer. This can be done from another other computer or mobile device. The interface is intuitive as well as clean and easy to follow. If you take the time to setup an account, you can also store favorite devices to make reconnecting even more simple.

Cons

This software is free for non-commercial use, but it reminds you every time you use it that if you want to use it for business that a license is needed. While this is good in regards to ensuring people use it according to its license, it does get a little annoying.

Pros

I love the ease of this product. It's very self explanatory and easy to use. It allows me to oversee all of my employees and what they are doing as well as let them know what they need to do or fix remotely.

Cons

I was afraid of the security issues that might accompany this program but as of now I have yet to find anything wrong with it. Excellent product.

In the company there is teamviewer corporate, and it helps so much, because on my field, Sap consultant you have to explain many things to end-user and they are anywhere, and it becomes impossible to explain on email, or chat.

Pros

This is an amazing software, because its very fast interface and its multi platform, i use it actually on personal use for help my family to do some stuff they don't know, and i can do it from my cellphone, my tablet, anywhere anytime. it has helped me a lot.

Cons

The main issue with it is when it start saying that you have commercial uses, and the time of use of it its every time less, it gives you less minutes of use if you do it often. Once i didn't even log in, after 30 secs it said, that i was using it for commercial use.

Pros

TeamViewer is easy to install and use for any operating systems. It includes features like permanent passwords for accessing systems to one-time passwords too.

Cons

Multiple persons cannot use the same system using TeamViewer. Also, the screen lights up and unlocks when remote accessing, which I don't like at all.

My overall experience with TeamViewer remote connection software has been satisfactory because it has been able to quickly connect remotely with my team member's laptop. So, I can help him with explaining the story my campaign data is telling. As well as, fixing viruses or malware in his computer. ROI is high for free version but low for paid version due to high monthly costs of license.

Pros

Using TeamViewer, I am able to remotely connect to my team member's laptop and troubleshoot reporting issues. As well as, explain insights and recommendations which I gleaned from the analysis of marketing campaign data. I also like the fact that the connection between my laptop and the laptop of my team member is secure because a unique id and password is randomly generated for both our laptops. Once connected, session runs smooth as long as both our internet signals our strong.

Cons

Premium version of TeamViewer software is expensive. If one of the partner laptop is using an old version of TeamViewer, then the connection won't happen. Both laptops need to be upgraded to the higher version of the software. If internet signal of one of the partners who are remotely connected slows down, connection may break and software may need to be restarted. Users with little technical experience have a tough time during initial setup. Once connected, its difficult to find Start menu if its in the bottom left corner.

Super easy to use, have been using this software for more than 5 years. Once the auto turn on and account is setup, you can login with any computer or phone. And able to control the computer remotely from far away.

Cons

It does lags sometimes, and the image quality goes a bit poor.

TeamViewer is a very good tool. I cannot imagine my daily work without it. Thanks to it, I have the opportunity to administer computers that are located in other locations in other countries.

Pros

TeamViewer is an essential tool for any administrator. Without it, I can't imagine working with remote computers. Ease of implementation is a very important advantage of TeamViewer.

Cons

A very important functionality that I miss is the possibility of full integration with meeting participants (the ability to transfer control to participants). In the past, this feature was available, but it has been turned off. The manufacturer has ensured that it will be restored by the end of March 2021, but has not yet done so.

TeamViewer is the ideal solution small, medium and large enterprises when it comes to remote manageability. TeamViewer also supports patch information. I have not been displeased with this software once.

Pros

I like the security of the software, as well as the capability. This software is very robust and dynamic. It's always been reliable and very speedy. I rarely have connection issues when using the remote control function.

Cons

I dislike the version compatibility issues, when a client is running an older version the newer client should support previous versions. Often times the person needing support has the software installed and is experiencing issues preventing them from updating the software.

Reason for choosing TeamViewer ONE

Ease of use. Simplicity and overall cross platform support. Superb product.

Great software. Saves us tons of time on support, sales demos, training new employees, working with off site employees, etc.

Pros

Have a great feature set. I love the file transfer features. Makes supporting customers and working with off site employees so much easier! Seeing a customer's PC screen makes troubleshooting so much faster. They can show you the error and you can see the exact errors instead of just having them tell you over the phone about the errors.

Cons

The only real trouble with it is that sometimes their service goes down. It is not very often, but when it happens it is tricky to work around. We have gotten so used to using and relying on it that when the service is slow or down it is not fun at all.

I've been using TeamViewer for a number of years now, and every time I've had the need to share my screen or work remotely on another computer, this platform has been there to save my day. The technology behind the app is really good, allowing for very stable connections on truly poor connection speeds (hotels and airports). This is my default app to work remotely with someone else. If used for personal purposes, it can be used for free. The rest of us would need a subscription, which are easily explained and affordable on TeamViewer's website. This should be in the toolbox for anyone working IT or for remote teams in need to collaborate as next to each other.

Pros

Ease of configuration, ease of use, intuitive setup and steady connection.

Cons

Allows full control of the other party when granted, unsupervised. Many scams are run under this platform.

Working with the mobile version of TeamViewer can be confusing for customers because there are too many different versions of the app that do different things. It would nice if all the TeamViewer functionality was combined into one app.

TeamViewer has almost completely replaced Microsoft RDP for me. It is a great remote access tool, and can host from almost every OS.

Pros

Available on almost every OS Just works with minimal configuration Great for sharing your screen with a collaborator Mobile apps solid

Cons

Pricing is a bit too high for casual use File transfer is weak. Works in a pinch, but not great by any means Linux

Quick set up, easy to explain, and allows you to get your work done.

Pros

Easy to connect and use. Once you place it on the machines, you just need to know the TV ID and you are good to go. It is also easy to explain to others how to use it. I was able to instruct my 80 year old grandmother how to install it and set it up so I could help her with her computer issues.

Pros

The speed of getting sessions connected and the ease of transferring files to remote PCs.

Cons

The cost is pretty high unless you have very few users. So for larger organizations, it's fairly costly. And they include features that go beyond remote control/support. Which is great, but many of those features aren't necessary for most.
