Pros

I'd say the thing I like most about the software is the functionality of it. Being the tech person in my family and friend groups, I am constantly asked to help people with their computer's problems. With TeamViewer, instead of struggling to communicate with end users about their computer, I can log in to their computer myself through TeamViewer and fix it my self. Not only does this apply to my personal life, but my business life as well. TeamViewer has greatly increased morale and productivity among both peers and family and friends.

Cons

There isn't really too much to dislike about TeamViewer. While the UI does look a bit dated, it's nothing that should prevent you from using the software.

This software has been great for me. I am not very good with technology and my daughter is living in another country. So it was not so easy for her to help me over the phone. Now with Teamviewer, she solves all the problems I have and at the same time explains what I need.

Pros

Teamviewer is a great tool for people who are not very good with technology. You can connect two users and grand control of the system. One user can help another user troubleshoot their computer without being in the same place.

Cons

It is not easy to use for beginners, and it does not have a clear guide. Sometimes the connection is interrupted.

Pros

TeamViewer has been around for a long time, but it continues to be great at what it does - providing a remote access solution that just works. When other solutions fall down, you can always rely on TeamViewer getting the job done.

Cons

TeamViewer is a great remote control solution, but it is continually adding features and there is a danger that feature bloat moves it away from the core functionality that has been most useful for support teams over the years.

Team viewer help me with any one on my faimily wich need help with their computers allowme to be there event from my home. I really recomend this to remoting with out problems.

Pros

Super easy to use even for not technological users, easy interface, fast remoting, multi monitor enabled, configurable session(velocity quality), included chat, control of users, free to start, record your use,you can register your most comun computers. apk on android and IOS wich is super easy to use (good for that one Team viewer team))

Cons

The free part works with most of the commun users but their anti abuse algorthm send several true falses detections(i use it for my family to help them with their computers and rigth now i have a warning on my use i dont earn anything with this helps),

So light weight and high performent software, TV was one of the first software who made remote screen share and control easy. you dont even need to install to run it, it can run as a stand alone, connectivity is good. You can transfer files between 2 machines there is internal retry process which takes care of file transfer. you can switch side without entering the credentials again allow to show the mouse tracker alt+ del +Enter key send feature and many more

Cons

I cant think of cons here may be security wise there would be some improvement required as i could download any files from remote machine without users knowledge.

It's really helpful and I am using it for personal and with professional license as well.

Pros

Easy to use: GUI plays important role in any software and TeamViewer is completely on top of this. Easy to use and simple functions. Fast and responsive: Installation is quick and so as software bundle is of small size so never ever you need to be worried about space or memory. similarly easy to reinstall. Upgradation support: TeamViewer get updated seamlessly and it is totally friendly in term of getting update of next version. Added features: Features like file transfer, login and securing, proxy network configuration is very convenient.

Cons

Retry in case of proxy change. It keeps on retrying and sometime it fails to identify the setting automatically.

The sortware is free and work with any internet conection, and with a freee version

Pros

The software is very easy to use. I used a free version and it´s cool. The software let me to take remote control of a computer just with a key word, You can create a key word to take control of your computer, also you can give remote access to other people with a key word, and you can see what is doing that person who take the remote control. I don´t know how much is the cost because I always use the free versionl (it could be take remote control of computer or server in anywhere just with a internet conection

Cons

I like this software, i don´t have any complayn about it. The transfer time depends of the internet conection

We are able to assist with software challenges remotely saving ourselves and our clients thousands of dollars in flights and in-person support.

Pros

I love the ease of use and the ability to refine specifics in updating remote computers. From customization to implementation the software is easy to understand and robust enough to handle several situations. In addition you can swap between professional and personal use with out issues.

Cons

The backwards compatibility and licensing provide the biggest challenge to our company. We are using Teamviewer 12 and we have issues with clients that install anything newer than 12. If we were to upgrade all clients using 12 would also have to upgrade. This puts us in an odd spot and there is no easy solution to moving forward.

It has been very beneficial the option to see our office desktop computer, be at home, also allows us to help our customers and has not yet failed.

Pros

The times I have had to use TeamViewer is because it offers remote support through the web. Additionally, a great point in its favor is that it is supported on PC, Mac and Linux both on the server and on the desktop, and also offers applications for iOS and Android, the latter being a very used tool personally.

Cons

As a tool for technical support, it requires interaction with the user on the other side of the PC, however it is very useful and helps to easily solve faults instantly. It is necessary to have a good network connection so as not to generate delays during operations.

Teamviewer is great for remote access to lab PCs and other systems which are connected to equipment and cannot be easily moved. It is great for unattended access and the ability to connect after rebooting without user intervention saves many trips. The screen controls are smooth and not laggy on good connections and it has some advanced features such as file transfer.

Pros

Very easy to setup for initial use, does not even need to be installed, can run directly from the executable file. Also very easy to set up unattended access, file transfer. Remote control is very smooth.

Cons

The bar across the top of the screen sometimes gets in the way, and although it is moveable, it still takes up a significant portion of the top border.

The best tool for desktop sharing, remote working and team working.

Pros

The great tool which I use the most. It can be used for team working where we can share the screen with other members easily. It supports both Windows and Linux OS hence we can say that it is OS independent. We can create groups on team viewer. Predominantly, I use the team viewer to operate my friends' laptop remotely to fix any issues on my friends' laptop whilst I am at home. Remote PCs can be connected within some seconds by just providing the ID and the PIN. Further, we can add contacts on team viewer for future use.

Cons

It requires a bit high-speed internet and good upload-download bandwidth to work nicely without any interruption.

This software allows an easy connection between two different parties trying to share a screen and drive what is happening on another desktop. If you are working on an IT team and deal with other employees having trouble with their own issues, this software is perfect for you to connect easily and control the other party's computer as they watch. Perfect for resolving issues with full transparency!

Cons

No issues at all and I highly recommend this software! I will say, it can get annoying some times when both party's are trying to access the computer(s) at the same time as pausing and restarting during a Teamviewer session can be cumbersome.

My experience with TeamViewer has mostly been positive so far. I Recommend it for remote access work.

Pros

TeamViewer has some great features like allowing the user to access any computer remotely. It has a nice User Interface and a great VPN feature. The best thing about it, is it ease of use. Customer support is also good and responsive.

Cons

What I don't like about TeamViewer is that it becomes really unstable even after the internet connection gets better. Another problem is the sudden loss of remote access and having to restart the machine to gain access again.

Pros

I support approximately 60 mobile employees. I am amazed at the seamlessness to take over someone's PC and remotely repair it. There are very few instances where I cannot do something over Teamviewer. The remote desktops are instantaneous and there are multiple tools to communicate with the end users.

Cons

I'm not a fan of the file transfer option. The transfer speed seems much slower than the same PC over a VPN and I'm not sure why. I also recently had problems where Teamviewer was prompting me to install beta software of the next major version. The problem with that I cannot connect with users that have a higher major version than I have. I ended up updating my five machines with the beta version in order to connect.

Pros

I'd simply go on talking on the cons of the software endlessly, however, the biggest advantage and the beauty of this program is the way it makes easy to share the screen/do a remote control between the computers. I have used it over few hundred times and it never disappointed me, nor lagged or gave me some software issue. Its easy to use and user-friendly interface is easy to even been understood by non-tech savvy people, who I am supporting the most throughout this software.

Cons

I'd love the feature of it having the ability to share slightly lower resolution for the computers that lack the high connectivity internet. In some cases, this is the only reason that might cause the lag.

Pros

I enjoy using this platform. In terms of implementation of remote access, teamviewer is one of the easiest for me. Teamviewer made it possible to access my computer from a different locality.

Cons

The only problem I have with this platform is that, a strong Internet connection is needed from both ends in order to have a swift interaction and it occupies quite a large number of space too, leading to lagging of my computer sometimes.

This application can be used to access your systems from anywhere in the world. Easy to install and use, and sometimes does not require installation. But you should be extremely careful with the use of this product, due to past identified security problems.

Pros

First of all, I would like to note its cross-platform Windows, Linux, MacOs, and the ability to use on mobile devices and their operating systems Android, Ios. Does not require installation, for example on Windows you can download the Portable version and use it even without installation. Pretty simple and intuitive user interface. There is support for video, voice and even text chat. Excellent quality of video image transmission tolerant to network data transfer rate drop. TeamViewer has such cool features as a transfer of control and drawing on the screen in real time. Nice I can use on systems with multiple monitors.

Cons

The free version has limited session time, and the free version is for private use only. Of course, it is much easier to install than the same VPN, but due to recent security problems, many companies have banned their users from using this product.
