Once I got my head around how to use it and set up alerts, I was all set to go. Very easy to use. Pros Exactly what I was after: a tool to monitor website changes that was extremely good value for money, easy to use, and just works. Can't ask for more than that. Cons None I can think of, if I was super critical, the UI could be a little bit cleaner, but that's only a very, very minor thing. It is super helpful and works well on pages with tables or pages with hidden sections but the lack of control over when the alerts are checked/sent is a real downside. Providing some additional flexibility/functionality Pros It does a great job of highlighting updates and removals for webpages. It also keeps track of the sites monitored in an easy way. Uploading content is easy once input into the spreadsheet. Cons You cannot set a time to check the page and over time the alerts automatically start coming in later and the only way to resolve it to reupload the spreadsheet of all the pages. It is also not always clear where the update came from so if there was a way to view the change on the page that would be helpful. It would also be great if you could ignore updates to the header/footer of webpages or omit pop-ups - those often trigger emails even though there is nothing new. Being able to point different page checks to different pages would also help increase the value. They start running late over time because the size of the queue affects the time when these monitors will actually be checked. Pros It allows us to track our competitor's prices and new product updates like no other website would! Most sites don't provide an RSS feed anymore and so ChangeTower is a good fix to that. Cons It can be hard to set-up and there isn't a lot of resources on their website to guide you through. The user cases are limited.
