### "a very poor excuse for payment processing "

Heartland Retail as a product is awful and not worth using. Our \[sensitive content hidden\] keeps saying we will switch processors but has not done so which is the only reason we continue to use it. The one saving grace is that their local support is very responsive, but they can't fix most of our issues.

Pros

Nothing. Heartland Retail is by far the worst payment processor/device I have worked with and frequently crashes during routine use.

Cons

The software is extremely slow at best, and frequently crashes. The inventory management system is not robust and does not accommodate most of the products we need to track.

### "A must-have tool, with the greatest features."

First of all,their support team is always available all day and night.The experience was awesome and very effective.

Pros

We've used it for 18 months and to be honest I regret not making it our priority from the beginning. I use it for employees management, tracking their breaks attendance and scheduling their shifts. We also offer online ordering and dine in orders courtesy of Heartland Restaurant. A magnificent software like no other.

Cons

It was quite helpful to us. We have nothing major to write here. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to elevate his or her business.

### "Heartland for small business"

Heartland was good for all of our needs. We only switched when we went corporate and had to because our company is now using the same as the other corporate hospitals.

Pros

The customer service was really good and they were very responsive. I never had to wait to hear back and any issues were resolved quickly.

Cons

I did not have a bad experience.There was no negatives at the time of us using heartland, and we would not have switched unless we had to.

### "Intuitive POS system for retail operation"

Learn how to learn and quickly able to operate the POS system under on day training. It has many customization for the UI to display the screen interface with tools that we use frequently.

Pros

Loved the PIC-compliant payment processing that integrate with our retailer POS system and need no other add-on from third-party software to process credit/debit card payment. Inventory management that sync perfectly with our ecommerce website ensure all the product is correctly counted and make no mistake with missing product or sold-out.

Cons

Our previous cash drawer isn't compatible with Heartland Retail POS system, we had to buy a new hardware for it to work and it is working smoothly after the change.

### "Fast payment processing with various of payment option"

Manage daily retail operation and payment processing in a steady pace.

Pros

Heartland Retail help me to manage all type of card payment and processing the payment quickly in less than 10 second in most cases. Daily report generation is automatic at the end of the day, or can be produce at any time by demand by connecting it with accounting department for accurate report analytics. Implementation wise, it is fast to setup and the integration with HRIS able to connect on the first attempt.

Cons

Real issues with this software is the lags that it cause when I fire up the POS hardware. It take around 10 minutes for the system to fully online and ready for daily operation. The software isn't too heavy or using too many CPU resources but the problem is consistent.

Pros

Impressive sales order management that integrate easily with CRM platform to sync between the two software in real-time. Features for email marketing is a perfect add-on so we don't have to use separate tools for our marketing management. Functional POS system that is simple to learn and operate by our cashier.

Cons

Solve issue with inventory management, retail POS operation and payment processing. No real issues or dislike with this platform.

itOverall, it has been a really helpful POS solution and has improved our restaurant's online ordering system

Pros

Heartland restaurant has been great for our online ordering system. It has made everything, from checkout to delivery, way easier to manage. The performance reports are very detailed as well I must add. setting it up was simple also and it I customized it to fit our restaurant needs. the digitization of the menu items is also a really nice touch.

Cons

It has not giving me any difficulty since I have been using it
