I love it, and I wish that one day they would support Exchange ActiveSync. It still works great with IMAP, but that's like so 2013. But I can't say how much I love this software. I've Purchased every single version of the day it was released. Pros easy to use superfast lots of great automation tools for email Cons no exchange support unless IMAP Avast and this software don't like each other. But do some things with avast and import to the postbox. The knowledge base is a bit out of date; they should clean up a bit. But points for having every version data up. Review Source Clément H. It's light and efficient with all you expect from a paid software. Cons The soft stopped working after 2 years, I could not find the issue listed in the troubleshooting guide. Filters, rules, folders, quick commands - excellent choices to help speed along message handling. Also excellent capabilities with encryption and signatures. We haven't found a better product - if we had, we'd be using it. Pros Very flexible and very capable, lots of options to speed through messages with good formatting choices including message content, message handling. Excellent multi-account handling. Cons Does not handle very very large IMAP accounts too well, especially if gmail / gsuite based. Reason for choosing Postbox Excellent capabilities at a very reasonable cost with good support on the OSX platform. The additional features from Apple Mail are a definite win and even though there is a small learning curve, it's a pleasant surprise to find out how much this tool has to offer. Pros Easy Management of Multiple Accounts Fast Stable Clean interface Having used Apple Mail for some time, I've had to adapt to the limitations either by ignoring them or adding plugins and supplemental products. This is fine until one or the other updates and then nothing works. Postbox seems to be pretty stable across multiple platforms and removes the dependence on Apple. Cons Change - change is difficult and there is a lot to learn in the new Postbox iteration - all of it so far has been a benefit and I am definitely enjoying the change. Reason for choosing Postbox Apple mail has gotten a bit long in the tooth and we're using and paying for a number of bolt-on products to get the features and functionality that we want. Postbox offers most of the value that we're paying to add on with other products and has the speed and performance necessary for users that are working with a massive amount of email each day. It looks 'clean' and not at all cluttered like some other third party email software. It's spacious. The themes are quite good too. I like colour coding certain emails so at a glance I know what they're to do with. Cons Only that I can't seem to work out folders, but maybe that's just me. Pros easy to use, easy to set up, full featured Cons Like all third party products, occasional glitches with Apple and/or Google mail servers, since Apple and Google don't always closely follow all the IMAP rules. Pros After doing the transition from mac, I was looking for a good and simple mailclient on Windows. It is really hard to find one which does not look like it's coming straight from the 90s. Or overload the interface with integrations you don't use. I tested a lot of them and finally found the Postbox has the most beautiful, fluent, simple and clean user interface. I also like that you can buy the license instead of renting the software. Cons The feature I miss the most is the missing taskbar badge for unread mails under Windows Review Source SS Sean S. Highly customizable. Love that you add plugins and send various email formats. The ability to do a mailmerge with placeholders without having to buy or pay for a bulk emailer is awesome. Love being able to also easily organize emails (subjects, topics or even personal/business via topics) Cons The price is a bit steep. But great on a black Friday sale. Postbox lets me easily see new messages in all of my accounts. Pros Easily connects all of my email accounts and combines them into one stream of messages Cons I can't think of anything I don't like about Postbox. It doesn't freeze, it works for what I need. At least what they offer has worked well for me. In general it has helped me optimize a lot of time. I never thought I was going to spend money on a mail client, but here they have me. Pros The main factor for me is the possibility of having multiple email accounts, as well as the ease of organizing the emails in groups, a unified inbox according to my preferences. The themes are perfect, read emails at night becomes much more manageable. Smart folders are another huge plus. This helps me filter important emails (from all my accounts) or from certain services in a single folder. Cons It is not possible to send it to the try icon, now I have to have it occupying space in my taskbar. I do a lot of repeat emails and having those templates ready to go has been a game changer. I find the entire experience far superior to any of the standard free options out there, and for a reasonable price, I think this bakes a lot of incredible features in a desktop email client. It mostly does it all! Pros Lots of deeps features, easy to learn workflows, clean interface, simple set up, and overall reliable. Pros Simplicity of use of the product. I have compared this product to the defunct IncrediMail. I had a problem with setup because Google kept taking over and the product would not work for me. Support worked with me to fix the problem. They were awesome! Cons NO paste feature in Signature development box.So far cannot find a way to import my contacts from the terrible eM client! See a lot of messages in a thread. Pros I really love that mail loads fast and that I can add and group many inboxes. The search function is beyond comparison. No other mail software finds mail this easily. I was working with Outlook for a while and came back to Postbox because Outlook is very slow compared to Postbox. Cons They still have vertical lines in replies and old-fashioned reply and forward headers. No other client does it well with gmail as postbox. They’re constantly improving the program with useful features which is also a huge plus. Cons None. Whatever bugs they have they fix.
