December 12, 2019 5.0 I have been using Postbox for more than 5 years on a daily basis to manage many personal accounts. The customization makes this a breeze. Focuses on one thing and does it really good. It provides enough customization options to make the client look more like me. I love the fact that I can use it on my Mac and PC, so I don't have to purchase different clients for every OS. The software updates very frequently so I feel like the company actually cares for the product and the customer. Cons There isn't anything I don't like about it, per se, but even though I said it's a good thing the software focuses on one thing and does it really good, I do wish there was a basic calendar functionality. I love the extensive search that easily finds mails in all of my postboxes or just in specific folders. Also, I never had an email client that made it so easy to find attachments. November 6, 2020 5.0 I was a "die-hard" Eudora user....20 years worth of emails. This program was easy to set up and has a great feel to it. I learned it quickly. Now I can read all my emails without trying to decipher hieroglyphics! Pros Ease of use. Able to migrate my Eudora Mail (after converting to .MBOX). Filing and Searching. Layout. Functionality. From this century! I like the daily tips. Group emails together. Folders - love the folders. Cons I love everything about it so far. Because it's built so well, I didn't even mind paying for it! I bought a lifetime licence, that's how committed I am. Pros It does everything I need and without jumping through hoops to achieve it. Pros Its our experience that Postbox works much better than MacOS Mail client for multiple emails with large volumes. Pros The aesthetics are great, as well as a very controllable and clean interface. Much less cluttered than what I was used to using. Powerful tooling. Overall by far my favourite mail client and I've tried them all. Cons Only recently started picking up all my email settings when adding accounts. Pros how I can organize everything. a lot of moving options, filters and organize options. looks like will work fine. Cons very usefull would be Icon on top menu, to mark read/unread emails. I did not found this jet. Also, the problem is, it looks like postbox loosing all emails from folders sometims. and it needs a time to download them again. Sort of Super-Thunderbird. Pros Easy, well designed, well organized, do not cost a lot. Cons Personal tech support do not exists: it's paid. That should not be. December 1, 2019 4.0 To be honest this is actually my second go round with Postbox. The first time I tried it I think the problem was me. I was in the middle of a large project and in a time crunch and I didn't look into how to set up some of the features of Postbox well enough and decided to move on. However, after trying MANY other Windows email clients I have returned to Postbox because I realized it has a much better aesthetic than most, and includes features that far outweigh the competition and more than make up for the small areas where I find it lacking. Pros I love the customization aspects. It allows me to setup the workflow that works best for me. I also really love the Quick Post feature. So convenient and well executed. Cons There are two small issues that frustrate me a bit with PostBox. I can't easily sync my iCloud address book and the windows version can't be minimized/closed to the tray. I have a lot of business emails that required being put onto a Google account for archiving. I had nothing but problems moving mail messages using Mac Mail. I downloaded the trial version of Post Box and it moved all of my mail without any issue. I got immediate trust in the software. I love the ability to create contract groups and the quick reply feature. Pros Being able to move messages amongst different email providers Cons It does not integrate perfectly into Mac - meaning in mac Mail there is a email share option when you double click on a file.
