Overall I would highly recommend it to a Mac user who is using Outlook.

Pros

The ease of use. I have multiple email accounts and it was a breeze to set them up and be able to see them at once. Performance also. I used Outlook for years and it got to the point where it was draining memory. I have no issues with Postbox.

Cons

Nothing at this time. I have only used it for 6 months but so far I have had ZERO issues. The only thing I would like to see it maybe the abiltiy to tweak themes and colors.

Reason for choosing Postbox

The features and the changes to airmail2 were things I didn't like or even need for email.

Very positive! No complaints!

Pros

I've been eyeing up Postbox for years. I always knew it was one of the go to mail apps for MacOS. I had been an Airmail user for a few years, but I was un-happy at how bulky that app had become. So I finally downloaded PostBox and have been enjoying it very much! I like the UI, Themes, search works very well.

Cons

I'd like to see a better UI for filtering Un-reads, Attachments..etc The "Attributes" feature sorta does what I want, but I would be better to see a Folder I can click on or a key combo to toggle them.

Great!

Pros

Best combination of attractive appearance and functionality I have found. I've tried many different e-mail clients (Thunderbird, Opera Mail, Mailbird, Mail for Windows 10, eM Client ... to name a few), and this is the best I have found.

Cons

Haven't found much to object to. I a little bit wish the themes were configurable. But that's a minor matter.

Pros

I like everything about this software! I have a bunch of emails and Postbox helps me keep everything organized. I love the tags/labels panel and the filters work like a charm.

Cons

The only thing I don't like about postbox is that they don't have an iOS App

I don't use the organisation of my mail folders much however I think this is my fault more than anything else

I had been using Thunderbird. Postbox is far faster and more stable.

Pros

Very fast in accessing and posting mail. Excellent search and filing features, most of which I still have to use. Totally stable, no crashes to date.

Cons

Nothing - it would be nice if it were free, but like most things in life, you get what you pay for.

Reason for choosing Postbox

I had it as part of Office 365, but I have never liked it. Slow, unstable, and does not play well with other programs.

It has been great at streamlining all those emails!

Pros

High level of functionality (with many features similar to the darling Eudora email software). Streamlines emails with easy and reliable mail filters. Search facility is excellent.

Cons

I still find it difficult to identify which emails I need to go back to work on later.

If I have to go back and check gmail for emails, the software isn't very useful.

Pros

Easy to load and very intuitive. I like the way they have designed the window panes.

Cons

Weird behaviors. One is that when I look at my sent emails, there are many missing. When I look at the files in gmail itself they're all there. For some reason, Postbox fails to see it. Is there anyone at Postbox, to whom I've paid for the app, to contact about this? No.

Performance and power email user. This is a great solution.

Pros

Having installed Catalina and suffered from the high CPU issue, it was time to look for a better desktop mail manager. I like Postbox as it allows for multiple accounts to be displayed similar to the Mac mail style.

Cons

I would prefer to pay a one-time license and not an annual fee. Also a little confusing on the folder subscription feature.

Pros

This is strong, stable software that quickly accomplishes all the complex things you need your email client to do.

Cons

It's interface uses the classic Mac OSX look, which I'm not personally a fan of. You can change the colors, fortunately, but it could be a little fresher/more intuitive.

I'm just started using postbox and all ready see the potential large savings in time management.

Pros

I was very Leary of integrating my gmail accounts to postbox but within a very short time frame (like minutes) I felt very comfortable and at ease. This is exactly what I have looking for it will save me a lot of time.

Cons

It has so much power it will take some time to learn it all which is not a real con.

was highly recommended by some colleges.

After being a longtime outlook user, we had put off getting a sub to office for a while to see if it was really worth it. I searched and found Postbox. I now have the office suite but outlook is collecting dust in the background.

Pros

The customization - and the fact that I can alternate between a unified mailbox and single account view.

Cons

Nothing! I have zero complaints. Love it!

Flexibility and cost! Best value for the money - and no subscription!

Pros

Postbox offers a very straight forward and easy setup with googlemail.

Cons

I would prefer the software to have backup capabilities in the form of a .pst file.

I have been looking for a decent email software for my mac for a while and have used various others before coming across Postbox. After using the trail for a couple of days I decided to upgrade and haven't regretted it. The interface is great and so easy to use and keeps me organised.

Cons

Haven't found cons any yet. It is great to use.

It is a great email client, with much more options than the regular mail app. Nice and clean looks. No fancy design things which slows down stuff. Great!

Pros

Fast and reliable. Much more options than the regular mail app from apple. Works like a charm.

Cons

No real cons yet. It is not free, if I need to say something.

Pros

Incredibly well organized mail software. Multiple accounts are well implemented

Cons

No calendar functionality which in my view is critical. The accepting of calendar invites doesn't work well

I couldn't categorize emails into folders with my last email software. I find this function super useful running a small business when I have so many clients.

Pros

It is easy to use, has great sorting functions, and I can easily find emails when needed.

Cons

The view screen text is a little smaller than I am use to.

Filters and search functionality excellent. Far easier to stay organized.

Cons

I don't like that I can't change the keymap e.g. I'd much prefer to archive rather than delete when pressing backspace. Adding filters can be confusing (e.g. global vs account level).
