We signed up and carried the cost of this service despite rarely using it.

Cons

I submitted a cancellation request, and was billed a pro-rated amount. A month later I was billed again for the full recurring amount despite our account manager telling me that I would not be billed.

Overall, Boostlingo has been an amazing company to work with. For every con, there are easily ten times as many pros to their service – most that I ran out of room to mention! The personal connection provides assurance that we are heard & that our organizational needs are important. Support provides quick solutions. Support has never made me feel bad about my bad habit of forgetting to hard refresh our browsers after an update. After being in the interpreting field since 2007, I have seen our area change and expand. Boostlingo is allowing our agency to become a commanding force within the market. With the assistance of our account manager & Boost’s developer, I have been able to see changes I wish for become reality. Everyone hopes that their feedback is heard when it is provided; Boostlingo hears what is said, they evaluate what is said, and they implement aspects of what is said, which benefits all organizations using their platform. Take many of these cons I noted earlier as smaller, localized issues and not global level issues with all Boostlingo partners. I came to this organization and Boostlingo was sitting here, idle. No transition was planned; our account manager helped me understand the potential and supported us as we moved to Boostlingo. Then I ripped the band aid off, gave my team 5 days’ notice, and we were live – now, I can’t imagine going back to our previous system! The potential for massive growth has been presented to us with Boostlingo’s system

Pros

Boostlingo provides a comprehensive telephonic/onsite interpreting bundle that is unique in the current market. The web-based access allows our clients to be in control of their access at the level they want. Interpreters have their own accounts, where they can set up a profile for us to view. As an interpreting organization, we can set permissions, rates, and specialties. We have quick access to interpreter email addresses and phone numbers, and we can download a file of our interpreter’s information. Telephonic service can be accessed by a mobile app, by accessing video/audio on a computer, or by dialing in to a phone number. Each avenue of connection allows our agency to gather important data, to ensure accurate invoicing for our accounts. As Boostlingo grows, their developers have allowed for a unique level of personalization for each calling account. Using the app and website, our accounts access ASL interpreters to help remain ADA compliant, and language access provides Title VI compliance. There is a fully integrated invoicing system built into their website, which can work in conjunction with QuickBooks. Personalization options allow us to use a domain that features our own logo and color scheme choice. Our organization has an account manager who listens intently to any feedback I have. Boostlingo has a support department that replies quickly, and resolves matters as quickly as possible, involving all necessary parties as needed. The development team is quick t

Cons

As Boostlingo grows, sometimes a glitch, or bug (as I call them – so that I can make sure they get squashed), is noted, we provide feedback to Boostlingo and a fix is implemented on a time table that corresponds to the gravity of the bug. With global level of changes and settings, smaller personalization is not always possible. For example, we can add our logo to the interpreter’s printable form, but we cannot change the way the information prints or the size of the font it prints with. The digital signature, as it is currently, won’t work for us, so we stick with printed forms. We struggle with account rates - it feels like it is too smart, so we are finding ways to work around it. Billing reports cannot be customized as much as we would like, especially to meet contractual obligations when invoicing. The biggest speed bump we found is the account set up must either be completed by Boost support or by someone at the account organization that is willing to set up access. We are struggling with set up in that manner, but, as is normal for our account manager, we have found work-arounds for this as well. This small inconvenience is annoying, but not a hindrance with system interaction.

The growth potential afforded our agency with the comprehensive system is entirely too much of a benefit to overlook. Pricing is tiered based on needs and volume of utilization, so the service is accessible to agencies or organizations, regardless of their underlying mission or service model.

Boostlingo provides an amazing opportunity to integrate audio, video, and onsite interpreting services. Growth opportunities are limited only by our physical means - in the mean time, we recruit additional interpreters for support and keep inching forward to take over the world!! Okay, maybe that was a bit too much "Pink and the Brain", but the fact remains that our organization can offer comprehensive language support with Boostlingo, which is something that we could not find with any other service or platform.

Overall, Boostlingo has been a major part of scaling up our capabilities and has been instrumental in growing our interpreting business. The support is good and they are eager to work in a collaborative way with clients to develop features and enhancements for the software.

Pros

Flexibility, ease of use and the fact that we can access certain features via a mobile app. The price is extremely competitive compared to some other IMS system on the market that don't have all the features of Boostlingo. Integration with QuickBooks and their Boostlingo Connect option is quite good too.

Cons

The web app is not mobile responsive and lacks sone customisation options for white-labelling. Some times the workflows of the system don't exactly match the reality of how agencies work.

### "A good call manager for enthusiasts"

Overall, my experience with Boostlingo was good, it was a fast platform, no errors or bugs and it was very intuitive, I did not have any problems. What I do highlight is the system of “fishing calls” instead of being assigned to each one with some prudential time (for example 15 seconds before the call is redirected to another person), I did not like that at all and I consider that it is rather ideal for beginners who are willing to play “that game”.

Pros

In the time I used Boostlingo, I found it to be a very efficient and fast platform for taking both audio and video calls. The interface was very intuitive and allowed me to customize my profile, attach certificates as a professional and to access the call boards easily.

Cons

What I liked the least about Boostlingo when I used it was the fact that, in order to take calls, you have to enter a kind of “queue” where there is no priority or time to take calls, but they fall to everyone equally and you have to be super attentive to “click” at the exact moment and prevent someone else from winning the call before you.

Boostlingo provides a platform and service that is exactly what our business needs. They are responsive and supportive. The platform they offer does exactly what we need it to do. Is it perfect? No, but the benefit of working with this company is that they listen to feedback and implement changes quickly. Their pricing is very reasonable, and the flexibility of customized options are a huge plus.

Pros

The support from crowd source interpreters is a big help for when our in house interpreters are not available. I am also overall impressed with connection times and call center staffing. Boostlingo's customer support is amazing. They are always there when I need them. They take suggestions seriously and implement changes based on feedback. For example, the platform originally was only available in portrait mode on mobile devices, after I explained that our hardware was mounted in landscape mode, their team quickly moved to create a change that allows the view to auto rotate. There is a lot of customization that can be applied to various client accounts which I love. Most importantly (to me) their team is always a joy to work with. From the CEO to the account managers, they are like an extended part of our organization.

Cons

I wish we could add clients without having to use their email addresses but just assign user names. That would help a lot with the new client on-boarding process. There is a big learning curve on the backend. The admin section is not intuitive. It's often hard to find where to apply specific changes and took quite a while to get used to . Fortunately because their customer support is so responsive I was never stuck without help, but it would be nice if things were a bit more intuitive. The mobile app could use a little more customization. For example there are currently three screens for On-demand, Quck Dials, and Scheduled. The on-demand and quick dials are almost the same thing and we don't use scheduled so it would be great to eliminate the extra screens to help simplify the user experience on our client's end.

Reason for choosing Boostlingo

We chose boost over other options because it was the quickest way to implement the service we wanted to offer our clients without having to build an app from scratch and do all the testing from the ground floor. Also the support they provide with crowd source was essential to success.

Boostlingo offers a streamlined translation platform where practitioners can connect with patient in a matter of seconds. The platform is clean and easy to use and the cost for the platform is significantly lowers than the previous platform we have used. This platform has been a great addition to our practice.

Pros

Boostlingo offers an easy to use translation platform that can connect patients to practitioners in a few clicks of a button. Boostlingo offers just about any language you would need to have translated including ASL. The platform is easy to use by our staff and connecting to a translator takes just seconds. The translators are medical certified to ensure there are no mixed messages in the translation which is a huge plus. The cost of this service is much lower than inferior products which makes it a top tier platform at a low cost.

Cons

We enjoy everything about Boostlingo, we've never had an instance where we would not find a translator for the language we are looking for and the pricing is very reasonable.

My experience with the Boostlingo software has been the best!! More importantly our clients and interpreters are extremely satisfied and find it easy to use/access. Beyond the software the Boostlingo team is incredible. Every single person I have had the pleasure to speak to or meet has been more than helpful and accommodating. They want to make sure they are providing the best tools and support available and they do!!!

Pros

This software helps us to level the playing field in our industry. The ability to customize everything was a key factor for us. But the ability to setup, track and manage everything in one place was awesome as well.

Cons

Originally, there were some limitations in the invoicing portion that made it a bit cumbersome at times however, the Boostlingo team is very responsive and worked with me in order to provide our clients what they wanted. In addition, they are always open to suggestions and have made changes that have greatly enhanced the invoicing portion as well as adding many new features to all aspects of the software!!

We were looking at a total of 3 options when we purchased Boostlingo. We chose Boostlingo because it was customizable and it allowed us to offer more services and features to our clients and interpreters than our previous solution and it was more economical. We couldn't be happier with our purchase!

I'm so happy we've made the change and I have zero regrets to this point. Boostlingo will continue to grow and we're looking forward to what's in the store for us all.

Pros

1\. It's made organizing jobs much easier for me. 2. It's got several methods within 1 platform: Onsite, On demand VRI and scheduled VRI within 1. We don't use OPI though. 3. Partner support for On Demand VRI (this was huge for us) 4. Terrific flexibility in customizing the portal according to our needs/wants.

Cons

1\. Interpreter portal aspect - many interpreters have several agencies. I would like to see it be easier for interpreters to use. 2. A little more ability to "customize" - all us customers will always want something more :) 3. Greater amount of functionalities within scheduled VRI

Pros

First off, the real time communication technology works like silk. Remote interpreting calls connect without any delay and the video quality is the best provided you have a normal speed connection. IMHO this is the main think to look at when looking for a remote interpreting platform. The interface is quite friendly and easy to use. The amount of data generated is also impressive -you can select a date range and download an xls file. You can then use this data to figure out interpreter performance, trends, client needs, etc. There are updates coming out very often and the Boostlingo staff really value your opinion when you provide feedback about the platform. Actually, they released an updated last night (26-Nov-2019). The staff is lovely and the support center answers requests quickly. They are really committed and won't hesitate to give you a hand or provide tips to make a better use of the platform. Advice: the support team answers during business hours PST, so you should expect a reply during those hours.

Cons

No relevant cons for the time being, but I'll post if any.

Our experience thus far has been very positive. As far as the Boost team goes, they have been flexible and worked with us on our needs at our pace. We have been able to give our input and suggestions on things we wanted to have in the platform and actually see changes made, which many other companies would not do. The platform gives our company the ability to expand and scale our services.

Pros

Boostlingo gives you the ability to have multiple language service lines on one unified platform. We researched many products and decided to go with Boost because their platform is easy to use, customizable, and meets our needs as a LSP. Our customers can use the platform on their own devices and the user interface is very intuitive. We also like the real time reporting and being able to view and customize things on a customer and user level.

Cons

No real cons- we'd like to see more features with the analytics and dashboards in the future.

I like how easy it is to use. I have to teach people how to use it, and it is helpful that it is easy to use, so it typically is a one-time training.

Cons

I struggled with one of the broadcasting settings. I think if it were worded differently, I would have solved the problem on my own. But, one of the Support team members helped me solve it quickly.

Pros

I was very pleased with the personable customer service, which was available as often as possible. My customer representative shared a lot of organized materials to help me first familiarize myself with the system as an administrator, and followed up often with upgrades; all in all, the communication was high quality. I also love the flexible packaging options for clients; clients for example absolutely love the Quick Dial option, it is so easy. Even more complex features are super easy for clients to learn, if they have the time to check it out.

Cons

Some of the setups as an administrator can be a little extensive and thereby confusing, but again, customer service for the most part is very thorough; the materials I received in support for these setups are very well thought out and usually help for emergencies too, which is helpful when customer service is not available.

Their software is very versatile and user-friendly. Their technical support team is great and very responsive. They are also very good at following up. We also love their OPI and VRI platforms. We especially love how they have a professional interpreter network available in so many languages. This has been advantageous in growing our interpretation business.

Pros

A friendly software. Your display are simple but with many options for languages, professions, etc. Your interpreters know the subject of the call, that's incredible.

May be the price, but it is worth it for its professionals and its functions.
