Cons

IT has a little bit of a learning curve, but as stated above the training team is top notch and always available to answer questions.

I don't have to worry about malware or ransomware because ThreatLocker is an application whitelisting software, which means all application/programs are in a default state of "deny all" unless it has been approved by a ThreatLocker policy or by the IT department.

Pros

It is easy to use. User interface for both the client and the admin console are very understandable. I love the "install" mode. It is very easy to add new software to the policies, especially since ThreatLocker comes with many pre-defined policies or it is very easy to create a new. When you initially install TreatLocker on a a computer or server, you run it in Learn or Monitored mode. Then it creates the policies if they don't already exist.

Cons

I don't really have any negative things to say about it.

Reason for choosing ThreatLocker

ThreatLocker was more user friendly and understandable user interface and admin console.

Pros

The sales cycle was great, they don't have to sell you their product... if you're paying attention, it sells itself with the feature set. Support has been fine so far, you get a trainee Cyber Hero on the chat every time off the bat, but they escalate pretty quickly if you're clearly a power user.

Pros

Learning mode in combination with intervention from the Cyber Heroes makes onboarding very straightforward. They do a great job of making the application look terribly effective but impossibly easy to use.

Cons

The canned deployment script for our RMM wasn't super great.. it'll get the job done but I ended up writing one for both deployment and automation/monitoring.

Threatlocker was incredibly easy to deploy with integrations with our RMM tool. The level of flexibility and granular control over what and how applications can run is second to none.

Cons

So far I haven't found anything that I don't like about the product.

Best onboarding of any system I've been involved with.

Pros

The high level of attentive care and support from the onboarding team.

Cons

Really struggle with this Q, only thing I can think of is on occasion the storage policy deployment struggles a bit with allowing USBs. Could just be our own infrastructure though, 1 in 100 (if that) have a problem.
