I'm overall happy with carepatron. It has about 3 different softwares i used to use all in one. I still am not using it's full potential either!

Pros

Carepatron has been extremely user friendly. It is also one of the most affordable client software out there.

Cons

Booking has been an issue because it's guided more towards those who accept insurance. But I'm not sure if that's because i haven't figured it out yet.

Pros

Carepatron is an intuitive and comprehensive solution for our clinic, as it allows our admin team and clinicians to coordinate effectively and provide quality care to clients.

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve but in comparison to other tools we have tried we find this to be the easiest to get clinicians and clients onboarded with.

Obligated to use because practice shifted over, and boss has mentioned CP costs significantly more than what we were using before. More awkward/clunky workflow than before that I'm not sure everything being in on one platform makes up for and doesn't seem like a worthwhile investment.

Pros

Notes and calendar integrated Ability to share care among clinicians in practice I like the availability of other templates

Cons

clunky can't go onto client info directly from appointment AI-integration - convenient but I have ethics concerns unable to customise email notifications - cluttered inbox Re: video calls have to click 3 different buttons to end call - very awkward endings app not available in other countries poor noise reduction on calls doesn't auto-generate google meets links/not integrated with google meets can't see client if you share screen

Overall it has been average - If I was able to customize a few more options and if the video calls were not lagging, it would be much better.

Pros

scheduling is easy. Very affordable. Carepartron is easy to use, quite intuitive. Customer support has been reliable

Cons

no ability to sync with stripe device in office, billing is a bit disorganized, the telehealth videos lag and drop occasionally. I also don't like how I can't customize certain features...I'm always having to go in and rewrite the wording, such as on my invoice template.

Simple set up, great support team that follows through when they say they will, and flexible enough to find work arounds when the system doesn’t quite do what you would like it to do.

Pros

The cost effectiveness of the system, use of AI to assist with documentation, and great customer support are definitely strong positives for this system.

Cons

It is clearly geared towards US companies and is a bit limited for Canadian companies, especially in the billing area. Unable to direct bill but can track payments from insurance companies and funding organizations.

Amazing! I'm organized in my practice and able to keep up with appointments and notes due to the ease of use.

Pros

Customer support is amazing. It is very intuitive and easy to use. The price is the best that I have found.

Cons

Issues with the calendar at first, but that's better now. I'm visually impaired sometimes if I'm zoomed in too much the calendar gets a little messy, but I'm able to fix it.

Pros

Ilike the ability to do everything from one app, from scheduling to messaging to billing, it has it all!

Cons

Idint like that I'm not able to customize email templates but i know that's changing and i look forward to it!

Pros

What it offers for the price point - effective and cheaper than other competitors. I like the customizable options for profile.

Cons

Calendar is a bit glitchy and scheduling services seems more complicated than it ought to be on certain points.

I enjoyed the trial period and in time will undoubtedly change to Carepatron. It is just so easy to use.

Pros

I think Carepatron is a good value. The ease of use alone is enough. I have not changed simply because of the upheaval that requires, but I don't have any issues with usability. The booking widget was easy to set up and works well. I also like the many templates and attentive customer service staff. The AI scribe has lots of options too!

Cons

I am glad to hear e-prescribing is in the pipeline, because I need this functionality. I didn't find any other issues.

My overall experience with Carepatron has been awesome. Carepatron makes my practice management and organization of clients' billing and charting a breeze. Carepatron keeps the time I have to spend on the administrative side of things to a minimum so I can focus on what I trained to do in the first place.

Pros

Carepatron was always there for me when I did not know what I was doing. I am a therapist, not an office manager or business guru. The availability and ease of use of Carepatrons' products filled my business management deficit and have kept the business side of my practice running smoothly.

Cons

Sometimes I would have to personalize a template or convert it to a PDF and it would take me a little time to arrange the conversion to make it look correct. This problem is more about my lack of computer skill then a Carepatron problem, but PDF's would be nice.

Amazing. We absolutely love it. CarePatron has every feature we could want and more. The cost is absolutely unbeatable.

Pros

CarePatron has a ton of features. I switched from Simple Practice which I used because it was the only platform offering totally customizable progress note templates. CarePatron does everything SP did and way for for a fraction of the cost.

Cons

I wish it provided for better connections between kids and parents. It’s hard for parents to get reminders for child appointments.

I have loved my experience with Carepatron and have referred it to other practitioners. Love that they are constantly expanding available tools.

Pros

Carepatron is easy to use and has wonderful customer support. When I have reached out they responded in minutes and had very clear communication. Appointment management is easy to navigate and the system as a whole is very competitive in price to other EHRs.

Cons

A pro and a con is the customizability of forms, documents and notes. As a sole practitioner, it has been fine but I could see for a group that it may be hard to navigate different templates.

Cons

Clunky to adjust templates, run into issues with video calls more often than I would like troubles with the camera and microphones, no way to bring previous info forward

It has been ok. I wish it was better. i have had sessions with a rep but she was not able to answer my questions and I have to continually reach out for further support

more affordable than other platforms, easy to get support, appointment reminders, easy to upload attachments

Cons

unable to personalize; Spanish options, personalizing options per client not for entire company, for billing purposes- our entire staff can see pricing. Billing is not as easy as it could be.

CarePatron allows me to securely store notes, schedule appointments, manage private pay patient fee collection, and more, from a single platform that's mostly intuitive to use. I couldn't recommend it more!

Pros

CarePatron is easy to use, intuitive, and provides a perfect platform for secure electronic record keeping as a solo practitioner. I am able to manage appointments, even sending reminders if I would like, and customer support is only a click away if there's any bugs or issues. It is an excellent value for the money.

Cons

Sometimes the path of clicking needed to make recurring appointments feels cumbersome, especially if I am in a hurry, but the process itself isn't difficult or challenging - just clickier than it maybe needs to be.

It’s been okay. I haven’t had a lot of experience with it as I’m still experimenting with it to see how it will work best for me and my company.

Pros

Value for money. The customer support. I like tutorial videos that are available on YouTube for further assistance.

Cons

It seems to be more catered towards counseling and not for speech therapists. The templates are very generic, and the upload option doesn’t convert your template correctly

The site is easy to use, and they provide excellent customer support. I appreciate the appointment management aspect of it and the secure record keeping.

Cons

I do not like the lack of saving when switching from editing to responding on notes/documents. The scribing on telehealth sessions can also be not so accurate.

Carepatron is one of the strongest client management systems available. It stands out for its built-in AI features, intuitive design, and the ability to automatically record session transcripts and generate clinical notes. That said, it offers excellent value for the price and is particularly well-suited to independent practitioners.

Cons

One limitation is the lack of real-time support—assistance is primarily handled through email, which can be inconvenient when something urgent comes up.

Very good overall! I am very happy with my decision to use Carepatron and the team is accessible and responsive online or with virtual training sessions.

Pros

I am a brand new private practice owner. I love that Carepatron is contantly improving and the ai tool is very helpful for immediate questions or assistance. I am very pleased with my decision and look forward to the continued evolution.

Cons

I wish there was a an option to hold a virtual appointment with a window to take notes at the same time versus opening another tab which can cause some issues.

Overall, carepatron is easy to easy to use. The dictation feature for note taking is really helpful and speeds up the note taking process. I really find the templates library helpful as well.

Pros

I love how easy it is to use the portal for scheduling, billing, and notes. As a bonus, the price is more affordable compared to other ehr portals.

Cons

Sometimes clients can struggle with how to complete forms or update their payment information when the intake is sent.

Carepatron has really made managing my workflow easier, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an all-in-one solution.

Pros

I have to say I’m really impressed with Carepatron. From the moment I started using it, I noticed how intuitive and user-friendly the interface is. Navigating the platform is a breeze, and that makes my day-to-day tasks so much smoother. What I particularly love is how it combines so many features into one seamless platform. The scheduling and note-taking functionalities are perfectly streamlined, saving me a lot of time and effort.

Cons

I experienced quite a bit of frustration with glitches and lagging. It often made navigating the platform feel disjointed and slow, which disrupted my workflow. I really hope the team can address these technical hiccups because the potential for the software is definitely there.

Have been using for months and I love the diverse options and the features. Very easy to use. I love love love the document section. There is value in the forms submitted by peers in similar work fields.

Pros

Ease to use, very user friendly outline. I also value all of the features and how helpful they are for my private practice. Scheduling is very helpful as well.

Cons

Nothing… it’s all great! I have truly not come into a feature that I can say that I don’t like. It’s really all good!

The experience has been great so far and I suspect as I get more familiar with the platform the ease of use will improve.

Pros

The value for money, customer support, and ability to communicate with clients. This system has everything that other similar systems have at a fraction of the cost. The help feature is easy to use and helps be find answers to any issues quickly.

Cons

Some of the features are a challenge to learn and can be difficult to navigate at times. I also wish there were some pre-built standardized assessment tools that are auto scored and pulled into the record for consistency and progress tracking.

Overwhelmingly positive. It has made things so much easier in my practice, which is important as a one-person show.

Pros

All functions required for a practice are in one place— scheduling, billing, client database, notes, and more. Developers are constantly working to improve the product and add new features

Cons

I wish that some of the features were a little easier to customize. For example, client forms should be easier to import and transform into a fillable form. Sometimes the interface isn't as intuitive as you might like it to be.

It meets my needs as a solo practitioner and allows me to upload my forms quickly. Billing is great!

Pros

I switched from another mainstream EHR and found Carepatrin to be simple, easy to learn, capable of doing all tbag my other software did but at half the price!

Cons

I dont find the documents for intake as easy go navigate for parents and guardians as I prefer. I wish there was a way to see that two parents have signed consents easily without scrolling thohgh old docs.
