It’s been super easy and I’ve recommended to people who are just getting started. After I tested it I signed up for the year and plan to continue using it because it’s ease of using!

Pros

The booking, ease of creating forms, communication with any things I tried to figure out and needed assistance with. I’m a new business owner and this platform made it so much easier to get started than I was expecting!

Cons

I don’t know if this is really a complaint, but the app updates often and so just keeping the latest one updated. Not really a problem and honestly I love they are continuously improving things.

### "A great platform for Family Doctors"

I am happy to have a system that I can use remotely. Sometimes, information has to be duplicated, for instance when I have to write a prescription.

Pros

I have been using a number of medical software systems. It is a good system for storing medical information. Great for scheduling. It is secure and compliant with privacy requirements.

Cons

There are a few things. But by far the most important one (and therefore I will not mention the others), is the fact that the data (patient's past medical history, medications, allergies) does not transfer from one consultation to the other. This is a major impediment.

### "Grateful for carepatron"

Carepatron is easy to use and free for the small client load I use it for. Very grateful to not have to pay because my other EHR won’t allow me to document coaching clients.

Pros

I love Carepatron as an adjunct to my primary EHR. I have to have the other EHR in order to bill insurance. However, I appreciate having a solid site like Carepatron to document my self-pay clients. I haven’t had to use support, but they consistently reach out to offer help.

Cons

No issues thus far with Carepatron. It has been a smooth and easy site to use in my several month experience.

It's been a good experience, and I look forward to using Carepatron in the long run. It meets all my requirements to maintain a private practice. It's HIPAA-compliant and ensures digital safety.

Pros

Carepatron offers a range of features that make the management of patient health practice easy. Their customer support is prompt. It's very easy to manage all the appointments through CarePatron.

Cons

I would like their payment gateway to be active in India. At times, their video call service glitches, but they work promptly to fix it.

Overall experience is above average. The helpdesk is quite to return questions while being very helpful.

Pros

Carepatron is very well organized. It is easy to add new clients, update information, and have multiple contacts for one client.

Cons

Being able to export groupings of data (for example all overdue bills from a certain time period) is not as user friendly

Can be very slow and unresponsive/glitchy at times. The “flow” pace could be improved without a doubt.

I enjoy it a lot! It was my first time with a private practice and I found the recommendation for Carepatron on reddit. I'm glad I gave it a shot.

Pros

Customer support is prompt and always with an actual human. The platform is generally easy to use and user-friendly even for people not very experienced in tech. I like the appointment reminder features.

Cons

There are some bugs and issues that still need to be resolved. The automatic save changes feature on notes sometimes glitches and notes don't get saved and I find out about it later and have to rewrite, this has happened a few times.

I enjoyed the trial period and in time will undoubtedly change to Carepatron. It is just so easy to use.

Pros

I think Carepatron is a good value. The ease of use alone is enough. I have not changed simply because of the upheaval that requires, but I don't have any issues with usability. The booking widget was easy to set up and works well. I also like the many templates and attentive customer service staff. The AI scribe has lots of options too!

Cons

I am glad to hear e-prescribing is in the pipeline, because I need this functionality. I didn't find any other issues.

Overall, I like CarePatron and highly recommend to all clinicians. I can’t complain about my experience so far.

Pros

Everything is honestly already there for you to work with. I run a multipurpose practice, so it’s very easy to run all areas.

Cons

I don’t really have a least favorite. I would just say that because there’s so many templates and resources, I have to take time to click around.

Pros

The customer service is top notch as well as the ease of use. Lots of great functions, from Ai to claim integration.

Cons

Nothing so far. Any issues I has were quickly attending to. If the team members were not available. Most answers can be answered by the Ai helper.

It’s going great and I would highly recommend this ehr system. The cost alone reduces so much stress.

Pros

CarePatron is affordable, they have excellent customer support, patient records transferred easily, and keeping records is simple. We love how simple it is especially since we’re a therapy clinic so we want to reduce overall stress do our clients.

Cons

CarePatron has some issues with bugs in the system but they are minor compared to others and they are great about getting them fixed. They reply to your needs within 24 hours, usually less, and help you around the glitch.

The support team are second to none! If you message the help desk, they are on it!!! Really appreciate that! Any question, and problem - they answer almost immediately! It's really really great!

Pros

Definitely value for money. About 1/3 price of Timely (which is the main reason I switched!). Also, suits my one-employee business well - I didn't need all of the added extras with Timely that I wasn't using. Great for a sole trader.

Cons

I have been having a few glitches with customers not receiving their reminder texts. The support team is fantastic, and they are running all of the diagnostics, but it is still frustrating.

I'm really happy with Carepatron and have recommended it to some of my colleagues.

Pros

There are several features I really like. I like that when I schedule a client, I can then put whether they attended or not, then generate a note and invoice from the same pop up screen. The platform is affordable and easy to navigate. You can add your own templates and save them in groups for easy access.

Cons

I haven't quite figured out how to log a partial payment for a service. There isn't anything clearly listed to do a partial payment when I'm logging a payment.

9/10. The learning curve coming from TherapyNotes was steep but after a couple weeks it became very easy to use.

The value for the money and not having to pay extra for some features like other EHR systems require

Cons

Having to develop my own templates and how some assessments aren't autimatically calculated has been a challenge

Great response to any contact I've had with them. \[sensitive content hidden\] has been great to deal with. Help files are also super easy to navigate.

Pros

Love that I can have everything client related in one place. The calendar sync and automated emails and text are some of my favourite features.

Cons

Would be great to have an area, like a documents folder, where we could upload our own branded files, like PDF's to be able to share with our clients via email.

Carepatron is great for most things just wish it was so expensive for people outside australia, Taking in the exchange rate it doubles the cost for NZ. It would be better if they had NZ site to use

Pros

That it does everything i need, booking clients, sending forms and storing notes. The templates are great to start thinking of forms and the transcribing notes allows so much more time to focus on the client

Cons

It keeps having to reload the screen as says working from old system amd needs to reload new updated version and it not cheap for anyone that is not in Australia

Overall I found Carepatron to provide many different support options and believe it offers the most value for cost among the platforms available. I have not yet interacted with the payment feature if using insurance, but plan to in the future.

Pros

Ease of scheduling new clients, especially with the different appointment types, and the calendar feature was easy to use. Customer support did seem very helpful when utilized.

Cons

It would have been helpful if there was an automatic set-up call structured into onboarding. I would have appreciated general appointment reminders in the non-paid tier, but did upgrade for this feature because it feels essential for maintaining a smooth running practice. I did not find the AI note writing options to be very sophisticated clinically.

I would like to be able to input goals for a client and then select them from a drop down menu for therapy notes.

Pros

I enjoy being able to keep patient records electronically. The affordability and ability to bill within the system. Ease of email through the portal

Cons

The AI dictation to a note is cumbersome. If you load a note from previous sessions to keep goals on the note, you have to delete the previous transcript and note. The interface for typing is not very easy/streamlined. Inserting photos is cumbersome. The note created needs a lot of adjustment as well- it is not speech therapy friendly and words/information is inaccurately added. For example the dictation was written from the client point of view “I worked in L blends….”

Overall I love that I can capture everything from a picture of who I am servicing to billings patient for services all in one place

Pros

The templates and being able to capture all of our clients records in one area.We are able to generate notes and bill someone. We are able to get general dynamics and group individuals based on their needs.

Cons

The appointment management can be designed a little more detailed. I feel it is like a trial and error ordeal is needed to get the best results

### "Great for small businesses"

Overall its great for how small my business is but being able to access it on my phone has been very difficult especially with safari. There are forms and templates that work well for me plus the customization

Pros

Web based and has a free version. I have a small business and cant afford an expensive program at this time. This works very well for my needs. Easy to use.

Cons

Always have an issue logging in on my phone on web browser. Compatibility issues? Need to be able to access it Especially with Safari

My overall experience using Carepatron is very positive. The Platform has allowed me to scale my practice easily and allowed me to grow to what it is today. The platform is priced very competitively as well and is the most user friendly on the market.

Pros

Incredibly easy to use all in one platform! Patients appreciate the ease of booking, cancelling, payment and receiving bills as well.

Cons

Have not yet found a negative point to the software. Would appreciate a directory so clients can find different practices easily.

Mostly good… getting a hold of anybody for tech-support is very frustrating. You usually have to chat with a bot or they send you an email and everything gets lost in communication.

Pros

The price point and customizability of the platform. The reminders are helpful. They continue to update the platform and add new things all the time.

Cons

Not direct customer support. things get lost in communication given the fact that you can’t get a customer service person live.

Pros

I really like the price and the ease of use of the platform. Also that it can be customized with color and billing.

Cons

I wish we could bill Medicaid and insurances. This may be a feature, but I may just not know how yet.
