Overall, it’s been a solid and dependable platform during my time using it as an SRD at MYOB. It’s handled the fundamentals well and supported our processes reliably. That said, as our needs have shifted and we’ve moved toward more integrated and dynamic systems, Phoenix feels a bit dated. It’s still functional, but probably due for a refresh to stay competitive.

Pros

Reliability and consistency. It’s been a steady platform over the years, particularly strong in data management and core functionality. Once you know your way around it, it’s dependable and gets the job done without too much fuss.

Cons

Limited flexibility, especially around integrations and API capabilities. As the broader tech stack has evolved, Phoenix hasn’t quite kept pace, which makes it harder to slot into a modern sales environment.
