At the same time, I purchased my product; I also enrolled in the Sezzle Premium plan for $9.99/month.The purchase, delivery and my first two payments went as planned without any issues. However, when I tried paying off my account balance, which included the 3rd and 4th scheduled payments on my account, I could not do so on the Sezzle website (sezzle.com) or via the Sezzle mobile app.After contacting Sezzle support, Sezzle claims that somehow the payment portal attached to my account is not working properly and, therefore, cannot process any payments. Between voice and website chat, I have since contacted Sezzle support seven different times now, with supporting evidence of each interaction. The issue on my account has been escalated on four separate occasions, each time with a Sezzle support agent telling me the issue would be researched and that someone from Sezzle would be reaching out to me with a resolution or solution. One month into the process (and after four escalations), I still have not been contacted back by Sezzle support.It absolutely baffles me that this business is unable to accept or process my payment... by phone, website or mobile app. I just don't understand. Sezzle indicates that they report to the major credit bureaus. The last thing I need is for this company to report my account as late or unpaid to the credit bureaus due to whatever internal issues they are experiencing. Pros The concept that Sezzle offers is good in theory. Cons It is very difficult to work with the Sezzle support team. Answers are limited to canned, prewritten FAQ's. Review Source Melissa T. With their pay in four option & other payment plans, sezzle really helps you manage your shopping needs without going broke in the process Pros The customer service is amazing. They respond faster than most in-store customer service even do. Also, they offer flexible payment options & only charge late payment fees & only 1x per purchase agreement rather than charging a fee each day you're late & allow gift cards to be purchased (perfect for holiday gifts if you have a lot of people to shop for) Cons The assortment of retailers offered changes constantly. Most of the places I've never even heard of. There's also no description of the retailers & what they sell/offer beyond the company name & a vague description. Review Source TH Travis H. Easy to integrate and our customers that make use of it seem to like the option. Pros This product was easy to set up on our woocommerce site. Integration was simple. The company provided graphics and it looks great. Very simple for our customers to use and it gives us a nice alternative payment method. Cons We haven't had any features that have bothered us so far. Only hiccup was making sure orders weren't fulfilled before the processing by sezzle was complete, but that was an easy fix. May 29, 2023 5.0 We used Sezzle throughout our peak period last year, and have since moved away from offering split payments (for now). We will use them again if we decide to offer that service. It was a simple, smooth operation with a modest fee for each sale which was easily justified. Pros If you want to offer split payments, sezzle is easy and flexible enough of a tool to compete with the other guys. They worked in our vertical without any hassle. Cons Overall, their tool did what I needed so I don't have anything bad to say. The UI and UX was a bit shabby. Customers weren't as familiar with the brand so there was some resistance there. Pros I liked that it was available to Canada users as well as US. Cons The fees are a bit higher in comparison to other platforms in this space. Very legit. Pros I love that I am able to purchase an item and make payments on it weekly or bi weekly using a payment plan. They respond usually within 1 business day and are more than willing to assist you. Pros Being listed in the Sezzle business directory puts me in touch with users all over the United States and Canada. 85%-90% of our customers are Sezzle referrals. Merchants can choose to keep their money in an interest account which earns 3.25% or in a withdrawl account which does not accrue interest but is available for withdrawl in 2-3 business days. Cons Sezzle charges a financing fee of 6%+$0.30 per transaction. This is very high for a small business as it is 3 times the amount we normally pay for processing fees. Reason for choosing Sezzle We were referred by another merchant who was very satisfied with the product. I am not charged a fee or interest as long as make the payments. They send you a reminder e-mail when payments are coming up, and then the payments are automatically processed. They will also issue you virtual card you can add to your Apple Wallet to make purchases in stores. I can use the app to see all orders, upcoming payments, and balance due. I can make early payments on the app also if I wish. Cons My least favorite thing is, sometimes it is too convenient to use. Review Source JG Jen G. Definitely a win for fashion brands Pros I've definitely seen an increase in sales using this software and i love the hashtag feature to increase my brand being seen! I also really like that you have the choice to have money processed through Sezzle sent to an interest bearing account. Cons I don't like that the information pushed to your product detail pages adds another bit of verbiage above the fold, taking up valuable real estate. Additionally, it's one more account/vendor to consider when you can just use SHOP Pay through shopify for your Installment processing. Sezzle was set up and activated in only a couple of days and they imminently saw an increase in conversions. Pros It gives buys the ability to split purchases into four payments. This has helped my client increase average cart value and conversions. It also has integrations with all the major e-commerce providers. Cons The brand is not a well known as other pay-in-four providers like PayPal or Karma. This can reduce the conversions if the buyer does not trust the brand. Review Source Schanel W. And being able to split up a payment is easier on my wallet too!! Pros I love that I can go on to some of my favorite stores and pay with sezzle! If I don't remember my debit card I can easily shop with sezzle! Cons The only issue I've every had with this software is when I forgot my password and wasn't able to access my account.
