I liked that Grafana is an open source platform that provides a rich set of features for visualizing and analyzing time-series data. It is highly customizable, allowing users to create custom dashboards and alerts.

Cons

Although I don't have any complaints about Grafana, I suggest offering more plugin integration options for the free plans

Perfect tool for big data services which allow visualization in various graphs and tables.

Pros

Grafana is complete solution to collect data from services and visualize them in web application interface using various charts and tables. You are allowed to configure workers witch collect data from services like Apacha, Redis or etc. You can visualize metrics using special queries in Grafana language. Performance is furious also for big data projects.

Cons

It can be hard to understand queries to visualize data. Also you need some knowledge to deploy this product and configure collectors.

Low-code software that is very easy to create meaningful visualizations and dashboards that can be deployed in a real-life scenario within a few hours.

Cons

The dark mode colours can be a bit dull and the UI can be improved a lot more.

Overall, The Grafana is very simple and easily configuration tool. We can monitoring & visualize data with this tool also integrate with third party tool.

Pros

\- Easy to setup & configuration- User management is very good- Customize our own dashboard & graph- Send Alert notification when threshold value is up.- Easily understand & readable logs

Cons

\- Some feature is not working on free open source version- Limited data type visualizations such as count, numbers and time duration- Limited option & designs for create graph & dashboard

Eyes on glass on for sensitive production environments. Grafana provides an opportunity to create great developer oriented dashboards which can be used to quickly isolate a component in the case of an outage or failure.

Pros

Developer oriented, quickly integrates with Prometheus in kube based environments, displays data quickly and with detail, excellent alert configurations and ticketing backend integration

Cons

Some layouts can be tough for non-technical people to view specifically sorted data, the drop downs are small and limited and it can be confusing to choose many options at once when you are only trying to view one environment

Pros

Grafana makes everything as easy as it can be when it comes to visualization. I cannot think any of my projects that requires visualization without Grafana.

I don't think that anyone has anything bad to talk about Grafana

Grafana gave us more capabilities and more visualization into our security posture.

Pros

The visualization was very good for me personally while using the software, especially the visualization suggestions when you don’t know how to represent your data either in Tables, graphs, or Time series. The product is easy to use and straightforward. We integrated the software with Azure Sentinel(log analytics) to give us more visibility into our security events and data.

Cons

I would like an improvement in the transformation options, particularly under the regex tab, currently, it doesn’t give a full sophisticated option for renaming a value. I would want more features added under the transformation tab. The query tab should be improved to make it easy to use.

Overall it is good. It has a steepish learning curve but gives out good value.

Pros

Good graphical representations, ability to add in alerting on thresholds and autocompleting to make setup of graphs easier.

Cons

It is not so easy to set this tool up. You do need someone with a lot of deep knowledge to really get this working.

Overall, Grafana is a great monitoring tool that visualizes metrics very well.

Pros

Grafana visualizes metrics very well. We use it to see our Swarm servers performance and we can tell which serves has more/less free memory, their CPU usage, their disk usage easily.

Cons

It doesn't support log analysis but it's ok for us.

Pros

I like monitoring via graphs and statistics concerning endpoints, like what are the most failing endpoints.

Cons

As a Mobile Software Engineer, it wasn't user friendly for me when it comes to using Grafana and trying to investigate issues via querying big data logs.
