Pros

One of the things that I like most about this software is that the support team is incredibly responsive and helpful. They answer questions quickly and more than once I have asked about a feature that wasn't available just to have modify the software to include that feature shortly after I asked. Delve listens to its users and makes adjustments to the product in order to best support them. The software is intuitive and easy to use. It helps me organize my research projects and seamlessly analyze them. Delve seems tailor made for the type of qualitative research, mainly analyzing sets of interviews, that I often engage in for work.

Cons

Most of my issues with this software have been addressed by the amazing support team.

helped me to organize and code qualitative research for my doctoral dissertation. It was very easy to use and intuitive in its use. The tools I used took me from organizing my transcripts to first and second-round coding through thematic analysis. Whenever I had a question, I immediately received a response. Delve's cost allows it to be accessible for everyone, especially for students. I have recommended Delve to other colleagues as well. I would use Delve again. It is easy for the first-time user or someone who has more experience.

Nothing. I believe had all the features that I needed to complete my analysis for my dissertation.

Using saves me tremendous amounts of time, and brings my research insights more to life! It saves me loads of time when preparing a report and helps me digest qualitative themes more efficiently.

Pros

is extremely easy to use and intuitive. I am quickly able to navigate to great quotes or snippets to support the points I am making, and wade through large amounts of data (transcripts, open-end survey results, etc) in an effortless way.

Cons

Nothing! It's super software and the #1 tool I recommend to qualitative researchers these days. I'm hoping they continue to introduce additional functionality, like using AI or text mining to surface themes.

My experience has been beyond what I expected (excellent)....very valuable and easy to use software

Pros

I want to say how grateful I am for . I fellow classmate highly recommended Delve after we became frustrated with other coding software. We both wanted a software that was intuitive and user-friendly to code our dissertation research transcripts, and Delve is it!! The easy step-by-step tutorials are a wonderful resource.

Cons

Although I enjoy and am grateful for the emails you send with tutorial snippets, I find them to go a bit too fast (for me anyway).

The ease of use and focus on doing the basics really well shows though especially for new users.

Cons

Sometimes you have to click a bit to figure out how to accomplish your task. The UI is very basic but powerful. A bit more guidance for new users would help.+

My overall experience in using the software was great. The software is intuitive and I was able to quickly learn how to use many of the features.

Pros

I really like that I was able to both copy and paste the text into the software. This allowed me to gather data from various resources and easily combine them into one document.

Cons

I hope the software would have allowed me to click on a category and see a list of all the items within that category. This feature would be helpful when managing large amounts of qualitative data.

Pros

I loved how easy this software was to use. I'd looked at and downloaded a couple other options first and they were difficult to figure out as well as a drain on my hardware resources. is cloud-based, so it worked great with my MacBook. It was very intuitive and their customer service was fantastic.

Cons

The ability to delete my own project would be a nice enhancement.

Pros

This was only my second qualitative study, and the first time that I used a program for data organization and coding. was extremely intuitive to use. It took me only a few minutes to download my transcripts and start coding my data. The blog articles were quite helpful - \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] has a way of writing about qualitative research in a very accessible way. Customer service was great. Highly recommend this product.

Cons

Would love to see some graphic capability added, such as mapping or word clouds, but at the same time I was so happy to find a tool at this price point and would not exchange that capability for an increase in price.

Pros

This product was extremely easy to use, navigate and negotiate. It allowed me to process and analyse large swathes of data easily and effectively. It also greatly helped with the writing of a paper with it's layout and export facilities.

Cons

I really struggle to find a fault as I was surprised by how easy and user friendly the whole experience was, it was more of tester for me to see how manageable it was.

My professors were also impressed with how I was able to use the platform. When justifying the themes related to my study, I was able to use 's display to show the coding that supported those findings.

Pros

I've heard horror stories about old-school 'coding' from professors when they had to highlight, cut out, making piles, and sort through quotes to develop themes. 's platform made coding simple and I was easily able to navigate the tools.

Cons

There were not any features that I did not like about it. I thought it was very user friendly.

Overall, was a crucial ascpect in helping me complete my thematic analysis over several transcripts for various different research projects. It was quick, easy to use, and made coding and grouping themes effortless.

Pros

I really enjoyed the drag and drop feature as it was super simple to upload and organize transcripts.

Cons

There wasn’t anything necessarily that I disliked. The only “issue” I had was while I was coding and highlighting different parts of the transcript, sometimes if I didn’t click off of the transcript when I was done, I would go to highlight a different section to code and it would automatically group it with the last one I was working on.

Pros

I had a demo of this software (maybe more than once) and kind of forgot about it until I had a project with 50 IDIs! The pain of slogging through 50 transcripts reminded me of and I signed up on the spot. I've used it on every project since. It's so easy. I was a bit scarred by some earlier products (NVivo) that were so time consuming and demanding. This is a breeze to use. It's totally streamlined by analysis and reporting.

Cons

I use on a Mac/Safari (not sure if that matters). Sometimes the quotes I 'snip' become highlighted in color (sometimes they don't) and when I copy/paste them, I have to remove the highlight color. Sometimes I have to right click a couple of times to get 'copy' to show up. Could be me, could be my browser. Definitely minor complaints.

Very good product for students. This is was my very first Qualitative Research product and the software helped me accomplish my goal. I would recommend Delve to anyone which I have done.

Pros

The software is user friendly, and \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] created tones of videos which makes usage and application of the software much more intuitive. I love the visual and hands approach which is how I learn.

Cons

I think there could be a built-in or tool where the findings from the Coding Analysis could be extrapolated into charts of some sort.

I have used this to analyze my qualitative research for my dissertation. I love how I can select the codes, export the information into Excel, and organize/change it as I go.

Pros

This is the most amazing resource for qualitative analysis. I have loved the resources they have provided including the workshops and tools. The system is very easy to use and really helps with analysis.

Cons

I honestly have not come up with any negatives so far.

was invaluable in saving me time in coding and readily converting my data into a format that was in easy to understand and use in my research.

Pros

I really liked how very quickly gave me clothe ability to code in a flexible and intuitive way, allowing later changes fairly easily. The organisational aspect of the coding was really useful in my research.

Cons

It was sometimes difficult to undo or alter coding applied to text without deleting the code and starting again. Not a big gripe though.

I use to derive insights from interviews I conduct in the process of creating new plays and musicals. The software has made it so easy to code and analyze material within a single project, and also helps me to keep track of interviews across multiple projects. All the additional features like nesting codes and adding demographic data have also really helped to streamline the work. And perhaps most importantly, Delve makes it easy and intuitive to share my results with my collaborators.

Cons

I like everything about this software, and I recommend it to everyone I work with.

was easy to use. I used it for my doctoral research and it helped me to organize my interview information into codes and categories. In addition, it made it easy for me to search within all of my interview transcripts for specific words or phrases.

Cons

It could be improved by allowing researchers to store previous rounds of coding or a type of history of changed codes.
