My company choose liferay because the only platform which provide Total web CMS base development . My part in liferay is theme development and custom portlet development as per the company guidelines . Liferay provide full control of CMS which user friendly for customer and also high in security .We have develop many big company site in liferay because this is the only CMS platform till date which have all the custom modules . Cons The only problem in liferay is licence cost is too high compared to other product in market. also some time support is delay. support Community is very less so that's why i have faced some problem regarding coding. Su rendimiento sigue siendo muy mejorable y la arquitectura es complicada pero es una opción viable para implementar casi cualquier portal web. Pros La gran cantidad de modulos que aporta la solución hace que muchas de las necesidades que pueda tener un proyecto web ya estén cubiertas por un módulo que poder importar desde el marketplace. Vale para casi todos los portales web que necesites, diseñado para albergar todas las webs que una empresa pueda necesitar. Su includión en el comercio electrónico y en la aumatización de marketing no es la mejor del mercado pero unida a la calidad del portal y a su servicio de hosting hace que sea una plataforma tremendamente competitiva. Cons La última versión prácticamente imposibilita las migraciones desde anteriores versiones debido al cambio arquitectural. Se ha descuidado un poco la versión gratuita. La interfaz de administración sigue siendo complicada. El desarrollo sigue siendo demasiado "mundo java".
