It’s a practical, well-designed tool that fits easily into everyday recruiting workflows. Pros How easy it is to use for both recruiters and candidates. Asynchronous video interviews save a lot of time and give candidates the flexibility to answer when it works best for them. The platform is very intuitive and doesn’t require much explanation. Working with Hireflix to demo some new features was a great experience, and their future releases including supporting employers and hiring managers in the design of recruitment funnels and automation of screening was enlightening for us as an employer, and Hireflix as a provider. Pros The software itself has a simple interface and is very simple to use and deploy, and zapier integration is a must for us to build cohesive integrations to other parts of the hiring process. More than anything though, the infectious enthusiasm of the team to develop the product and involve clients in that journey means we're fully bought into the future direction of Hireflix and that today's product is only the beginning. Cons I generally love the concept of employers uploading video questions, if it's done right......but being forced to upload a video for every question is not ideal if you're either a: not particularly photogenic, or b: not particularly confident, as this just shows your company in a bad light. Also the 'prep time' for candidates were rather lacking in options Having reached out for support on this point, I received an immediate answer and workaround though the solution wasn't obvious/intuitive Reason for choosing Hireflix From signing up to the trial account to deployment, the support from Hireflix was fantastic and all but instant. It's extremely easy to use and very intuitive for the end user. And you get all the information you need without actually spending the time. I can't imagine myself going back to a traditional interview process. Pros The UI & UX is extremely intuitive for the hiring managers and candidates. This is critical because this is a first for many people.The automatic transcriptions make it much easier and faster to review applicants. The navigation shortcuts make it a breeze to move around the UI without using the mouse.It's very fast and responsive. Cons My only suggestion would be to add a way to interact with the candidates within the app, but that might require them to log in or create an account, which might make them drop-off from the process. Using Hireflix has removed the tedious chore of trying to find windows that work for both me and the candidate. With Hireflix I am able to invite my selected candidates to interview at a time that is most convenient to them and then I am able to review their interviews when most convenient to me, as well. It has saved me time and speed to client which is a must when working in this industry. I'm also able to provide a greater client experience by providing my client's with the video interview footage so they can also evaluate the caliber of the candidate. I didn't have an interest in using it for any other purpose other than having candidates interview on their own time. There were a few reasons that prompted me to choose Hireflix: 1) I felt the candidate journey was much too cumbersome. I didn't like that the candidate had to create an account to begin interviewing. The candidates I tend to interview have very limited time to begin with and asking them to sign up for yet another service seemed like a turn off to me. 2) Under Sparkhire's most basic paid plan, candidate responses on the one way interviews (which is the sole reason I signed up) was maxed at 3 min, which was too short for the types of questions I was asking. 3) In order to increase the allotted response time, I was going to have to upgrade to the next level which was more expensive and still did not provide me with an acceptable amount of time I wanted my candidates to have. Instead of scheduling dozens of first-round calls, we send a single Hireflix link, review the responses, and only invite the best candidates to a live interview. The video responses give us a much more authentic feel for each person than reading through AI-polished CVs and cover letters. It has become a core part of how we hire and I’d struggle to go back to the old way of doing first-round interviews. Pros Hireflix makes it incredibly easy to pre-qualify a large number of candidates without drowning in CVs and emails. The one-way video format lets us see how people communicate, think on their feet, and present themselves, so it feels far more genuine than text answers in a world full of AI-generated applications. I also like that everyone answers the same set of questions, which makes it much easier to compare candidates fairly and build a strong shortlist quickly. Being able to review videos in my own time and share them with colleagues has made our early-stage screening much faster and more consistent. Cons Nothing bad to say about the software, its great. On the other side of things, some candidates are still nervous about video, so a few good people don’t always show their best side in this format. Make sure to have calm intro videos to set the tone. Hireflix made the entire hiring process faster, more organized, and surprisingly personal. I was able to screen dozens of candidates efficiently and confidently hire the right person. It’s a tool I’ll definitely continue using. Pros I recently used Hireflix's video interview platform to screen candidates, and it made the entire hiring process dramatically more efficient. I went through about 50 resumes, had applicants complete video interviews through their system, and within a short time I was able to filter out poor fits and identify the right people to move forward with. The platform saved me hours of back-and-forth scheduling and made it easy to compare candidates side by side. It gave me a real sense of who each person was beyond their resume, and in the end, I hired a great candidate. If you’re hiring and want to streamline your process without sacrificing quality, I highly recommend Hireflix. Cons There wasn’t anything I disliked. I have had no better treatment and dedication from their team from any other company as a customer. In the market, I have tested and used various other platforms similar to hireflix and done so exhaustively.... (I mean a ton of time and back and forth). NOTHING even comes close to what Hireflix offers as a product alone.... Hireflix allows me to preserve this resource by saving me time in my interview process. I first started using video interviews about a year and a half ago on another platform, WedgeHR. While Wedge was great, I found several ways Hireflix just works better for my needs. I get a higher response rate from applicants, integration into my HRIS (BambooHR), and a fraction of the cost.Hireflix allows me to send pre-recorded questions to applicants and allows them the opportunity to record a response at a time that is convenient to them. It also sends automatic reminders so I'm not wasting time chasing down applicants. Pros I love the ease of use and the integration into my HRIS Cons There really isn't anything I dislike about Hireflix.
