It has integrated well with its easy addition of RTMP and M3U8 links and has created amazing online experiences of our services and productions. Additionally, BoxCast's customer service is quick and truly takes account of the customer's needs. Pros As a user of BoxCast for many years, I can attest to them consistently improving their software and making it more user friendly for their customers. Additionally, the reach into the hardware market, like the addition of the BoxCast Spark encoder, has made high-quality streaming with the service easier than ever before. Cons BoxCast's multi-campus addition, while easy, does not offer many advanced features that are often needed for successful multi-site productions. Things like integrations with other software, like ProPresenter, the lack of proper decoder hardware, etc have shown the markets that BoxCast may not be for. However, for general streaming without multi-site, BoxCast remains steady and of high-quality. Cons The cost of the service is very high, and the percentage that they take for doing a paywall is very high as well. Really smooths out our video stream and took care of any buffering issues we were having. Cons The one thing I think could be improved is there countdown timer to when live steam starts only goes until it reaches 1 min and then it does not count down the seconds so your not quite sure when it is going to start. Reasons for choosing BoxCast It was recommended to me by another church and that is why we tried it. Pros I absolutely love the fact that I can schedule our live streams and they run themselves. We no longer have to go and manually start and stop a livestream and make sure that it posts, Boxcast just works and it saves me so much time weekly Cons I wish the add-on apps like for FireTV and AppleTV were a little cheaper. At $1,000/each its a hard add-on just because we're not sure how much people would take advantage of them. It seems like since its an app they've already built that it would be cheaper to change the stream ID in the app and the logo. Switched from [Vimeo Livestream](https://www.capterra.com/p/175546/https-livestream-com/) We switched to Boxcast for the ability to stream to Facebook and Youtube at the same time. Vimeos Livestream had us choose one or the other, but not both and we really wanted the flexibility to do both. We also stream to Periscope as well now. Reasons for choosing BoxCast Cost was deciding factor for us. Living As one had a large up front investment and it wasn't what we needed at the time.
