Really good, I recommend Wageloch for small to midsized business, double check all the rules are correct to the award you are using.

Pros

Very easy to use time tracking and HR software, cloud based so can be used anywhere. Support and award setup is really good.

Cons

Some payroll rules are hard to set up, including different rates for overtime or conversion to TOIL.

Great product. Customer service is fantastic and the product is easy to use for myself as the administrator and also the workers to clock in and out and apply for leave. Uploading directly from timesheet to MYOB is brilliant, saves me so much time.

Pros

I like how the workers can clock in and out via the finger scanner without having to write down their times in a timesheet log book which can lead to mistakes. I like how it uploads to MYOB payroll so easily.

Cons

Can't find anything to dislike about Wageloch.

Our overall experience has been great. We are loving using the new wageloch set up now (we used to use the legacy look and found it difficult to use the new look at first). Has been great having the staff portal set up and allowing staff access via their app to put in unavailability / annual leave / sick leave, which in turn has helped us with rostering.

Pros

The ease of rostering across a 24 hour period Being able to monitor all shifts and adjust times with ease Ease of access

Cons

The history and leave / unavailability takes a long time to load Print set up for the rosters makes our roster about 20 pages long and difficult to see it over a fortnightly period - would be ok if we did weekly rosters but is not convenient and therefore we are needing to produce a paper roster aswell The app is reported to be very sensitive to touch and is difficult to set time off

### "My favourite payroll software"

Excellent. We had been using another provider for a while here (as they were free), however "free" wasn't good enough to put up with the pain compared to Wageloch.

Pros

Easy to use, Accurate. Company is pleasant to deal with, and the software is very cost effective.

Cons

Web-based platform is sometimes a little laggy. Unless you are maintaining your own staff, can be a pain to have to refer any little staff change to the payroll people maintaining the files.

### "Easy to use and fast customer service!"

Extremely user friendly and great, fast customer service when there is an issue with Wageloch and the customer service (when needed) is local (Adelaide).

Pros

It's very easy to use for rostering employees and to see in real time if they have clocked in and out for their shift. The dashboard provides information at a glance, giving information of employee clocked times and who is on leave. It also helps to keep track of employee availability, rostered hours/costings per day and there are prompts to make sure changes aren't an accident, but if there's an error, it can be undone! It's also easy for employees to communicate their availability and checking their rosters.

Cons

Sometimes it can be slow to load and sometimes it can get stuck in loading and lose changes/new rosters when clicking save. There's no place to comment why an employee was late or left early, if someone else is submitting the finalized time-sheets for pays. It can be difficult to recollect to the payer the reason to why the late or leaving early clock times, and from the employee if pays are done on a fortnightly basis.

### "Good time sheet management software"

Overall it's a great product and most of the time it works well and does what it is supposed to do - there is some back end integration issues sometimes - but that is the bookkeepers problem to sort out - not hours - apparently it integrates with Xero very well so just waiting for our bookkeeper to do that.

Pros

\- Ability to see availability of staff - Ability to enter sales figures in and calculate efficiency of staff - Ability to show who is on duty in an emergency situation (evacuation) - Ability to see staff leave accrual very quickly

Cons

\- Windows App is missing some minor functionality compared to the online portal - Online portal can be quite slow during use (regardless of browser or internet connection) - Unavailability function of staff is a lot better to use than the Annual Leave function - Unavailability will show you immediately what staff are not available - annual leave function you have to manually put in the unavailability - double handling - so I don't use it.

Heard lots of negative things considering ease of use of the product for admins and normal staff - even though at the moment - with the way our accounting is set up - Wageloch feeds into Clock on which then creates the bank file to send to the bank - but again that is a bookkeeper issue - so it does not affect me in any way.

### "Clunky but effective"

We went from a manual system so it saves time and reduces errors.

Pros

Perfect for a basic rostering/payroll. Rosters are clear to understand and like being able to colour code roles/departments. Clock in/out station assists with monitoring staff hours accurately. Saves time and integrates with MYOB.

Cons

Online Annual Leave Request section doesn't work (at least for our organisation). Still need to do this process manually. System also runs slowly - always watching the spinning wheel of death every time you save a change or change to another screen/section.

I had a very small budget but 40 staff so it was most efficient system v's expense.

WageLoch has reduced our processing time, saved clients' time, money & angst with efficiency gains and more accountability of staff management

Pros

Ease & efficiency of operation, first set up we ever did, saved the client $26,000 in wages. Time creep was reduced enormously with staff having to digitally log in & out to record timesheets. Rostering so much easier with staff able to assign availability, reducing the number of calls you have to make to find replacement staff

Cons

Reports are great, but take a little mastering, once mastered, excellent. Would love to see award interpretation and full payroll processing & reporting in the future

Our experience with Wageloch is how simple and easy it is to use, and being able to track the hours against all our jobs our staff are working on and being able to cost out these hours to our clients correctly.

Pros

Im a Manager for a large Company and have used so many other Time Clock systems in the past and haven't found a system that works so well for all our needs. Its simple to use and Imports well into MYOB and now Zero, and the service we receive is fantastic.If we have any issues (which is rare) they are onto it quickly. We have been with Wageloch now for about 5 years.Highly recommend!!

Cons

There really isn't anything that comes to mind that I don't like at all.

Basically it has been ok but due to having to check that most staff are getting paid the correct rate I havent found it as convenient as I felt it should be

Pros

It has made rostering and payroll convenient

Cons

It is difficult to have different payroll in different department. I dont think it is ideal that if I have to roster someone in the bar, I have to click on bar then the drop down bar list to ensure someone is paid the correct rate. I think that being asked every time about the public holidays when you go into timesheets is simply a waste of time. If I have answered the question remember what I have clicked on and dont ask me again until the following week. I was astounded to see the geo fencing was not accurate until I called. Tio know that I had spent time in readiness to terminate a staff member because the system had been telling me that they were clocking on 10km - 15km away. Since I called to check and this has been rectified, the same staff member is on site every time they clock in.

Wagelock have been amazing! They have helped us so much with rostering and pay calculations. Payment errors are now very rare. Once implemented and customised to your business you'll never regret it!

Pros

Wageloch was quite easy to set up and it made the chore of rostering a lot easier. Calculating total hours worked and the wages total per staff member is now a breeze as Wageloch is paired with MYOB and everything is calculated automatically.

Cons

I can't really say anything bad about Wageloch. Whenever we encountered a problem in the early stages,the team at Wageloch were very easy to contact and their over the phone support was excellent.

In my opinion, every business should be using WageLoch. It takes away the hassle of keeping a track of who worked and what hours they worked. With the complexity of payroll increasing and the need for transparent compliance with industry awards and government reporting, the time saving afforded by using WageLoch is huge. I used to dread processing payroll when I would have to pore over paper roster sheets and try to verify each workers hours for the fortnight. With just a few clicks now, I can upload all staff shifts to MYOB to create the payroll run with ease.

Pros

WageLoch is a powerful payroll tool, and along with a myriad of sophisticated features, keeps an accurate track of when staff start and finish shifts. Our store is open seven days per week with several full and part time staff working varying shifts. Keeping an accurate record of these shifts used to be a bit of a headache. The software makes payroll a breeze as it keeps a track of these staff shifts and can be configured to export time, wage, and penalty rates to accounting software (we use MYOB). The software is easy to use and adapt to your individual requirements. The Help-Desk is always just a phone call away if you do have any issues.

Cons

The software has three distinct and separate modules CONTROL, TIME, and ROSTER. It is sometimes confusing as to which module I will find the required information if I want to access a certain feature or reporting function. It would be ideal if all functionality was combined into a single user interface.

The online clock in/out with GPS allows the management to check the location where the employees clock in/out. This feature is suitable for a small business in transportation because it helps the operational running smooth with minimum supervision. Excellent integration with Xero makes the weekly payroll runs smoothly. Even mostly the system sets up semi automatic, you are still able to edit it manually.

Pros

User friendly. The mobile access and online clock in/out are the features that our team use daily. Excellent integration with Xero to submit the timesheet. Excellent customer support.

Cons

Sometime they have a glitch on their system and this is create hassle during the payroll day.

Wageloch is one of the most common sense, efficient payroll software systems available on the market today. Comprehensive but easy to use, backed by an efficient support team and with minimal up-front costs, it has added major value to our business.

I feel that there is nothing really missing from the full functions of the Wageloch system - I believe that you get the complete package and more.

Overall can see good benefits with how the system has been set up but there are some features that need to be improved

Being able to calculate Overtime for casual employees, Night shift hour times.

Cons

Finger scanning not working correctly. Location data sometimes giving incorrect locations. Mobile phones with employees being able to clock out and they haven't clocked in.

Pros

It's easy to use and saves time and mistakes! I use to do the rostering manually and would have a staff member on in 2 places at once. Doesn't happen now!

Cons

I would love to see the day a staff member asks for a day off (not A/L) greyed out on the roster, so if I need to find a quick replacement for a shift, I know they are not available and I don't waste time ringing them!

It is a good end to end tool for managing staff and payroll, providing a good audit trail if needed.

Pros

It is an easy system providing end to end management of staff and payroll. The roster function makes it easy to see what staff are on when as well as swapping shifts between casual workers when required. The leave management function allows staff to easily apply for leave, which is then copied in to the roster when approved.

Cons

It can be a bit laggy on occasion, but other than that I have no complaints.

Pros

Pre submit feature to double check any anomalies prior to submitting to payroll team.

Cons

When going to roster shifts, it is relatively easy to select the wrong days, by not lining it up horizontally especially with people starting on pm shifts. If this could be improved somewhat would assist.The other would be the difficultly of reading times as they overlap, especially for short breaks e.g. tea break which is around 10 minutes.
