Pros

Cons

Too many meetings with support team I feel. we made the decision in 3 meetings with their team and they wanted to sit with us every step of the way

Pros

Our team was mostly relied on manual test coverage with our projects until we tried out testRigor. Since implementing testRigor, our team pretty much unanimously feels that we’ve both improved the effectiveness of our software testing and now spend far less time on manual testing and test design. We also have way fewer gaps in our testing process thanks to the thoroughness that testRigor brings to our project.

Cons

Lack of test management system, we have to work with spreadsheets to keep up with the number of tests we added to testRigor

Reasons for choosing testRigor

Great customer service and features match. We didn't have enough tech people and an ability to write tests in plain English was the selling point for us.

it is a good software to test the interface functionalities, I have been using it for some time and it is helping to organize and make the tests and make the process more efficient

Pros

The software makes tests easy to implement in a natural language

Cons

the failures in test runs, sometimes a test ran and it failed but the test just passed an hour before and after I run it again it works. I don't know why but sometimes the software fails to run some script.

I don’t think I’ve ever been so impressed by a software testing tool like this, after having worked with so many over the years.

Pros

For any team wanting to cut down on overhead and ensure maximum test coverage and quality, testRigor is definitely the way to go. The team at testRigor has also been great to work with, which is a huge plus. It’s so much better than trying to work with products that don’t provide any assistance or have poor documentation.

Cons

testRigor meets expectations and I can't share anything in particular what I would not like about this tool.

Test plain English test step design is quick and simple, yet robust to perform a large amount of functionality including mobile testing. 34+ actions words combine with variable capture and reuse to allow a large amount test creation. Element location is handled transparently to the test developer. Little, if any, effort is required to find elements even when the class changes keeping tests robust. The platform has a flexible built in CI/CD pipeline that utilizes Twilio to send update alerts to the team about test details. Development and debug run times essentially have no costs. A flat monthly rate is charged for a minimum of three machines. Once the number tests push the total completion time of the regression suite beyond a reasonable turnaround time, additional virtual machines can be brought on at a modest cost to further reduce execution time by running more tests concurrently.

Pros

Tests written in descriptive plain English. No Java, JavaScript, Python or Ruby to learn. Reduces development time by eliminating xPath or CSS descriptions. Reduces maintenance by automatically locating elements that change class. Implements reusable modular Rules among multiple scenarios for less maintenance Includes before and after full page screen captures in every run. Failures display comparisons to prior pass execution results. Supports BDD style Gherkin "Given" When" Then", but not required. Cross browser testing of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari browsers. Tests run concurrently under Windows, Mac and Linux for reduces run time Tests SMS messaging. Validates dynamic data from email with simple regular expressions No framework developers required to develop or maintain framework.

Cons

While the slideshow screen capture feature is great, a live desktop stream during cloud execution would help identify areas where speed execution can be further optimized.
