Pros I was able to get DbVisualizer up and running very quickly. The interface is intuitive and I didn't need to consult documentation until I need more advanced features such as variables. It is one of the much-needed tool that makes it easy to modify database schema and then run queries against them. Pros Simple and easy-to-navigate the data using the tables and that is provided with a clear graphical representation. The most amazing feature is that I can easily switch multiple switch DB instantly without facing any problems. Fast searching, duplication, SSH tunnelling are the other great features offered by the tool. Cons The tool is bit expensive. The quick object filtering feature seems to be confusing enough as I don't have enough idea to use it in an effective manner. Very easy to use, intuitive features and I'm sure anybody will find some useful features in it. Pros One of the features that I like the most from Dbvizualizer is the ability to generate a nice ER diagram from the connected DB and even for specific DB objects. Cons The only thing I have noticed is that it may be too high-consuming resources for older computers. Also when I run it in Linux the app will crash every once in a while. Review Source GD Guy D. Complete set of features for metadata exploration. Easy to organize and categorize connections. Ctrl-C, Export and visualization works. Functions column types, DDL, data types, sum/aggregations easily accessible from the data grid. Multiple connections with multiple tabs and splittable in many ways. Clear and highly-customized interface. SQL-complete works perfectly. With DB2, Watson, ETL tools/SPSS and DBVis, I have a full-spectrum set of of tools for my daily work and productivity.
