Super helpful while doing a phased rollout of Lightning to our teams where not all users had access to Lightning at that time. Cons Wish we could customize the actions available in the Lightning components, specifically hiding the trash can icon that can easily "delete all" files/notes/attachments on the record. Many of my clients have requested something like this and I was fortunate to come across this. I also only use the free version, which accomplishes what I need. A feature to add that would be cool is maybe folders. Possibly object folders, so that on Accounts, in the Files, Attachments & Notes related list, you could see you have an Opps folder, a contact folder, and a cases folder. Then click into these to see the attachments and their related details. Pros The simply functionality it accomplishes is what has been missing from the Appexchange. I enjoy that I can filter to just display notes, files, or just attachments. I also like the view you see when you click into the Files, Attachments & Notes related list. This larger view is way more informative. Cons The only thing I can think of is that the filters don't stay when you leave. So if I set it to only show the attachments of child records from within the Parent record, it will revert back to showing all if I refresh or leave and return. Not at all a deal breaker, but just something I noticed. Alternatives considered [Salesforce Sales Cloud](https://www.capterra.com/p/61368/Salesforce/) Reason for choosing Files, Attachments, & Notes I couldn't find another product that does this! The only other option is to create a custom Salesforce object to treat as a folder. But this method is much more manual. Review Source LV Les V. User feedback has been really good and it took me almost no time to implement Pros My users have a hard time finding attachments related to child records with standard Salesforce files. This product allows them to not only see everything but also filter between attachments and files and the objects they are attached to. It makes it really easy and fast for them to find what they need without having to know where it's related. Cons It sets the default view to filter out attachments and I wasn't able to set that up. Having a setting would be nice since in my case we don't want to filter them at all. Review Source BM Brian M. It really helps us with file management at the account level. Cons Since attachments are being deprecated by SFDC it would be nice to not include them at all. Also, the app doesn't have the same functionality for Notes in Lightning, would be nice for that to be improved since the native Notes feature is great. Review Source JK Jeff K. Pros As a Salesforce AppExchange solution, it's simple to implement this product. The price was free which was fantastic and it does what it says it will. It provides a view of the related notes, files, and attachments from a parent (most useful on the account page showing contacts, opportunities, etc). A great option for anyone to consider. Cons There were some bugs in the product like notes appearing multiple times based on each date it was edited instead of only appearing once. We raised this to the development team and hopefully will see a fix someday as they were able to at least respond to the feedback on the bug in the product. Review Source SC Scott C. December 12, 2019 5.0 Their team is responsive with text issues like date/time and update was done within a day. Pros We needed this to help transition users from Classic to Lightning. Implementation was easy and it does what it's supposed to do. Cons No issues so far. It had minor tweaks and I wish I had more options of either adding the component to the top or bottom of the page.
