First of all, it automatically captures my Google Meet meetings and provides me with a very well described summary of the meeting together with a list of action items. I also use it for in-person meetings where I simply need to put my phone on the table, tell my guest that I will be recording this for meeting notes, and just press record. Once it's done, upload the conversation, and I get exactly the same result as if it was a Google Meet, for audio only though. Another way I use this is when I take walks and I need to brainstorm with myself. I simply turn on the recorder and talk out loud everything I could be thinking about, and I get a wonderful summary of my thoughts afterward, from which I can extract the important gems. All in all, this is a great product that I would recommend to everyone for business use. Both of them are different summaries. I have no idea why this is happening, but it's not really an issue. My favorite thing is not having to take as many notes manually, and having the ability to review all past meetings, or search the entire app across all past meetings for key words, like "new server" to remember who we talked to about that. The AI bot "AskFred" has written great responses I can send to customers who decline a proposal to salvage a sale. It has helped me clinch deals by writing specific letters to attach to my proposal which include their pain points and how we can help. As a business owner, a salesperson (not a great one), and an account relationship manager, this feels like one of the most important tools in my kit now. Pros Searching meeting transcripts for key words. Fantastic AI bot for per-meeting advice, or drafting letters to attach to proposals. Downloading video, audio, transcript text in many optional formats. Business license is great for leadership teams, co-owners, or other teams. Ability to use voice recorder in Fireflies mobile app to capture in-person meetings without a computer. Cons By default it spreads itself to those you meet with, and sends links for others you're meeting with to access the meeting. We found this is easy behavior to adjust in the settings. Sometimes we found it annoying that every single meeting had Fireflies automatically added. However, the in-meeting chat command "/ff leave" works when people don't want to be recorded. Also behavior can be adjusted in the settings. January 7, 2026 5.0 Overall it has been a great experience, I have been able to be more engaged in the meetings I am in and also being able to go back and listen to the meeting recording helps a ton. The summaries are good overall and do a decent job with some errors but realtively minor errors and easy enough to go listen to that section of the transcript and find out what the intention was. It has been great for time savings as well since I don't have to take notes I have a lot more involvement. Pros I like the ease of use for online meetings and love the app for in-person meetings. It is my go-to for in-person meetings to help me take notes and allows me to really be engaged during the meeting and active. Cons Sometimes there are a few errors or it doesn't capture as expected when activated, but this happens few and far between. Pros Fireflies is critical to capturing all of the details of interviews with clients. It allows me to be present during calls and I do not need to take notes. I love the integrations into Hubspot where tasks are automatically transferred from meeting notes into my Task list. Also I have been lifting key passages from Fireflies notes and placing them into ChatGPT which helps me create executive overviews and summaries of detailed information. Cons I wish that the fireflies avatar did not take up screen real estate in google meet sessions. The ability to have live meeting notes and transcriptions almost instantly has made working 1000% easier. The key takeaways and the meeting summary has been most beneficial in communication with external partners. The transcriptions have allowed us to pull quotes as needed to help solidify our hypothesis. Pros Fireflies is the best AI notetaker and transcriber we've ever used. It is very easy to get started and invite him to our meetings. The quality of the meeting summary is excellent. We love that Fred sends us a wrap-up of all our meetings that week, including tasks and takeaways for the team. The transcription is good too. We love that it takes minutes, not hours or days, as it has in the past, using different software and companies. Fireflies has truly made our lives better. The Topic Trackers are also a great addition to other AI note takers and we've found them to be very beneficial to our work. Cons I find it takes a little work to understand exactly how it is used at its best. There are a number of settings that we had to learn the hard way from like, if you have the setting to be added to all your meetings in your calendar, Fireflies will auto-ride (not a bad thing in my opinion, but clients didn't like it), other AI notetakers. We had multiple clients who were unhappy that Fireflies did that.
