Both agent version on desktop and app on cellphone made my life easier in several ways. The summary after the meeting is almost ready to go for sending to people, and even doesnt need to send, the application itself send it directly. Cons very few times, there were some meetings that the agent didn´t join automaticaly, which made loose the transcription. Overall, I'm very happy with Fireflies. However, if there was another company that did everything Fireflies did and was priced the same but didn't charge for extra tokens, I would go with the other company. Pros I am a CEO of a startup and I have so many back to back meeting and it's hard to keep up. I love Fireflies because it records the meetings, summarizes them, creates action items, connects to Claude, and auto populates in Notion. It's a time and life saver! Cons I really don't like that I have to pay for credits in addition to a monthly fee. I can plan for a monthly fee and know my budget, but the additional tokens throw a curveball that I don't like. I feel like there is more functionality that I am missing in terms of education and understanding, but so far it's been very helpful with the basics. Pros It's ease of use and the thorough summary generated after important meetings and calls. Information is organized in a concise and detailed manner with action items clearly identified at the end of each summary. Cons The ability to add Fireflies in to meeting - on the go. It's a tedious process to add Fireflies to an ongoing process by fetching and pasting the link. If the admin has an inbuilt button or feature like an add-in within Teams to include or call Fireflies in the meeting it will be a great feature. Further, if a person leaves the organization it is very difficult to delete their fireflies from entering our meetings. Pros I love the ease of integration with CRMs and calendar systems. I was up and running in five minutes or less. Call summaries are much better than those provided by Zoom's built-in AI. Cons The only learning curve I am dealing with is the fact that I run three email addresses and get invited to meetings on Teams, Slack, Zoom and Google meet. I hope it improves the meeting link even if not invited and the recording off the speaker output just like read.ai. Pros The promo was very enticing, i got 40% discount. I was a user for around 6 months on free plan and was convinced fireflies is very helpful. The summary is great and it can be shared to intended recipients. Cons It cannot record from the desktop Speaker. It can only record from the mic input. It’s kind of difficult to include a link of a meeting to attend if i only received a link, and not a formal invite. I can rely on it taking notes and fully concentrate on the meeting itself. Cons That it is always visible in the call as a member. It is fine to be visible, but should not take up a whole calling in.
