A ten out of ten on a scale of one to ten. Thumbs up. Pros That I can record my calls (both audio & video) and get the transcripts word for word. The summaries of the calls are also helpful. Cons I wouldn’t say least. But it would be great to record calls directly from your iPhone to Fireflies w-out having to do the call via Zoom, GoogleMeet, etc. Review Source John K. Pros Fireflies lets me sit in meetings and on calls and just be myself. To just chat, talk, and engage meaningfully in the moment. When I had to take notes, I'd look down, get distracted, not listen well when writing and then forget what they'd said next. All those issues are resolved now. Cons I'd be happy if the app could sit in on my phone calls too the same way it does for teams or Zoom sessions. Fireflies records everything, gives me a transcript, and even pulls out key points. It’s been helpful when I need to go back and double-check what was said or share notes with the team. Cons The transcription isn’t perfect. It struggles a bit with people who talk fast or when several people talk at once. It’s not a dealbreaker, but I usually have to clean things up. Especially the pre read and post read summaries for every meeting. I am always up to date when I speak with clients. Pros Great value for money, I find that the AI is very reliable and joins my meetings even if the invite isn't sent by me. The summaries, being able to download the transcript and interact with the AI is super helpful. Cons It would have been nice to know that you can't have more than 1 fireflies in a meeting - so if another person uses the same technology theirs would join first and yours wouldn't. You would have to hope that other person will send an email summary from fireflies but not everyone has that feature enabled. It would ideal if this could be eliminated as an issue. Uploads the transcript as well as a summary immediately Cons Despite telling the names, he does not imply them as "Speakers". However, I do not see this as a big problem (I should know who I am talking to). Pros The note-taking and meeting summary have been extremely helpful and time-saving for me as an executive director. The notes are mostly accurate. I spend very little time editing and correcting the meeting notes. Cons I have not encountered any negatives that would require a comment. The application does what I need it to do. " April 12, 2026 4.0 I've certainly benefitted from using Fireflies and have now connected my Fireflies to my Claude Code AIOS setup, so I get daily briefs and my system has full context of any customer requirements. Pros Very fast upload time after a meeting has ended. Straight forward summary at the heading of the notes. Voice recording so you can re-listen to the conversation whilst reviewing the notes. This helps to clear up any mistakes that might occur during the note transcription. Cons It's not always accurate with capturing who is saying what, if people talk over each other. Needs context when using company names e.g. "Convai" naturally becomes "Convey". But this isn't a massive issue. Review Source Frank N. This service is better than other similiar services I have tried. It provides you with great transcriptions and notes from meetings, speechees, recordings etc. Pros This transcription service is the most accurate I have tried out, with almost no garbled nonsense. Other services can be a nightmare, this is not. It is easy to use and delivers a clean transcription with no fuzz. A big bonus is that all transcriptions automatically comes with structured notes accompanying the text! Even better both the text and the notes can be saved in different formats with or without timestamps. Speaker labelling can also be adjusted easily. Not many of other transcription services covers all this, with such ease. Cons It is a bit costly and I'm missing file structure functionality when the list of finished transcriptions gets very long.
