I’m more present during conversations because I don’t have to worry about writing things down. After the meeting, everything is clearly summarized and easy to review, which makes follow-ups faster and more effective. Pros Fireflies saves me a lot of time by automatically creating meeting summaries. I always have easy access to what was discussed, nothing slips through the cracks, and I can quickly come back to specific points or decisions. The biggest advantage is that I can focus fully on the meeting instead of taking notes. Cons Sometimes the summaries could be a bit shorter or better organized, especially for longer meetings. I use nearly all features but especially “ask Fred” Cons I have multiple mail accounts, some of them are google mail, some of them are exchange e-mail. Pros The app is easy to understand and use, but most of all - I am able to use it seamlessly between my Iphone & laptop - never missing any meeting notes or actions to be implemented. Cons There is not a lot of affordable storage space for to packages offered. Unlike some apps, it can identify when there are multiple people in a room and therefore dispatch properly who says what. Finally you can just start the recorder on your phone and get notes taken even during normal meetings with no visioconf. Pros It was easy to setup, efficient, and mostly accurate. The time it saves me is impressive. The accuracy of the notes surprised me. Cons Some of the summaries were not 100% accurate; it spelled names incorrectly or assigned the wrong names to action. And gives you a logbook to look back at interviews and find specific topics being discussed by doing searches. I began using Fireflies in late 2024 with my prior employer and when I opened my own business this year, it was at the top of my list. Fireflies is a flexible and accurate AI notetaker that empowers me to spend my time running my business. Pros It frees me up to focus on the conversations in my meetings, rather than taking notes. It does a great job summarizing meetings and identifying open questions and follow-up tasks. The Google Chrome extension makes it seemless for my Google Meets and the auto-join handles the other remote meeting platforms well. The iPhone app allows in-person meeting capture and is a game changer. Cons There really isn't anything about Fireflies that I don't like. I am very happy with the product. It would be awesome if the bot/Fred could identify speakers when I join an in-person meeting through Google Meet, as the iPhone app can do, but that's more of a wishlist item for me than a shortcoming of Fireflies.
