I am a student at a university and it has completely changed the game for my student life Cons Honestly one of the very few things I dislike is when I go to open the website on my laptop, I have to go to "open app" but maybe I am just being dumb and need to downlod the app on my laptop but I am unsure if that is an option. It's my go-to AI for recording and transcribing. Pros The transcripts are the most accurate that I've found and the speaker names are great! I like that I can audio record from my phone. Cons Sometimes the summaries aren't quite accurate - but they are as good if not better than anything else I've used. Cons Limited usage of AI credits discourages me from using them in the first place. Pros Fireflies saves me so much time in my day by taking extremely accurate notes, summarising them, and even giving me the key actions by person responsible. This helps me be more efficient in my project management and allows me to get on with the more strategic parts of my job. It is really easy to find the right subscription package and sign up. Pulling the transcriptions separately is very useful too Cons logging in each time. I would like it to keep me logged in more for ease of use. It's value for money, esp compared to other note-taking apps. In-person mode is a real bonus Pros it just works well. Auto-starts in the meetings in my calendar. Manual / in-person mode is also v helpful for taking voice-notes / debriefing and then getting a summary. Nicely integrated with lots of other services to download summaries and transcripts Cons too many marketing mails asking to upgrade after EVERY meeting. I can focus on listening instead of panicking that I am jotting everything down. Pros I love the user experience but most of all the actual output of the notes taken/transcription. It is easy to use and user friendly. Cons When you output the transcription, if you are not careful it automatically downloads the transcription word by word, not the summary. Pros I like the overall accuracy of the notes that are generated. I still have to update names and some acronyms, but overall there is very little I need to do before sharing meeting notes with attendees. I also appreciate the privacy features as this is a big sticking point for my organization on the topic of AI. Cons Sometimes names and acronyms are not captured properly, but this is not a deal breaker as notes review is always necessary for sharing. I don't like the Zoom chat feature as it was inaccurate and distracting. I had to turn off that feature and didn't like the automatic opt in. I was taking lots of notes during my coaching calls, so I could summarize them and report out to my clients. Now, I can just pay attention to my client and know that I am not missing a thing. Pros The cost is extremely reasonable, it's extremely easy to use, everything is stored in one place, and it summarizes my meetings very effectively. Cons I wish the copy and paste feature was better. I like to use ChatGPT or Gemini to identify potential questions or activities I can do with my client based on my coaching certification material.
